[FM23] Is there any way to remove the sanction of Russia in pre-game editor?

Hello, I cannot invite or play away in any Russian team in FM 23 because of the sanction. 

 

I am not supporting the war, is there anyway to unlock this?

Nope.

Moving them to Asia doesn't really work either. I think it would get them into Asian international competitions, but they still wouldn't be able to play at home, or participate in continental club competitions.

I have my own set up for Euros + World cup increased teams in finals

in European qualifiers make sure the 55 nations in Europe are included so that means Russia too

 

in game, Russia take part in all international comps but they have to play home games at a neutral venue, this is the same for their club sides too who take part in my custom UEFA comps

it's a good job, but how is it possible to do this also with club teams?

A Russia & Ukraine nation seems the only option at the moment to incorporate everything? Or the USSR. Let's hope we get Russia back in Fm soon.

I found a file in steam workshop that moves all russian players, team, etc in place of the CSI (that short lived USSR successor confederation).

So real Russia is abandoned and moved into an unused Tag, it's a minor annoyance.

War is bad, I really don't like an headcanon where it's as if the war continues indefinitely. I like to think the war ends and everyone is happy at game start

Are you using advanced rules? Do you have proper teams qualifying? I cannot find anywhere a file with advanced UEFA competitions rules and I cannot make mine work properly because of wrong teams qualifying.

Looking for some help - Does anyone know where the config file is for flag on the player screen?

I've managed to change all other graphics from id791 to id583

But for some reason I always have a blank here on my now Russian players.

It's somehow not linked to the flags on any other screen of the game which I have managed to change.

Anyone know how to fix??
