Two lost games against two of the better teams in the leauge, and one draw. We still have eight points down to the relegation play-offs though, so I really hope we're safe.

A perfect month, and we are safe for another season! Eirik Løkken (YP14a) has been amazing for us this season, and is probably the only reason we've been this good this year.

 

He has made his debut for the Norwegian U19s as well!

Youth Intake Preview

I we get any player close to the starting XI I will be happy!

Only one point in the last month of the season.

We survive our first season of the second tier without have any big problems. No teams really destroyed us in the league, and even in the games against the top teams we did quite well. A couple of good players in the next youth intake will do us well, as outside of the starting XI, we're not that strong. We actually have a new starting CB next season, as one of the players I loaned out this season has grown with 1.5*!

I think we have a real star on our hands! Marcus Roos (YP16a) looks absolutely brilliant, and will go straigth into our starting XI! Eirik Kløvrud (YP16b) looks like great prospect as well, but he does not have the personality to match. There are more players that look good, but the two I have mentioned should be great for us.

Pre-Season 2038

At least we scored a lot of goals this pre season. That is not the problem however, it's in defence we have to do better, as only two of the relegated teams last season conceded more goals than us.

 

As always, survival is the goal.

This the exact opposite of April last season. This time around we started badly, but turned it around at the end. We beat Sandnes Ulf 4-3, and was the first team to win against them this season.

A lot of three's this month. Not in terms of points, but conceded/scored. Only three points down to the relegation zone.

June 2038

Last month we were involved in games with 27 goals, this month it was only 6. That is quite the difference. We did not concede for two games in a row, that is something we are not used to.

 

Norgesmesterskapet

We did great this season, and knocked out two Eliteserien (Ranheim and Skeid) teams on the way to the quarter final. In the quarter final we got absolutely destroyed however. Bodø/Glimt has been av top three team in the league the last 10 seasons though, and even won the league two years ago.

What an incredible month! Three wins sees us 7th, only one point behind the last place of the promotion play-off!

We started this month great as well, with a win against league leaders Aalesund! We face Start in the next game, and could actually finish in one of the play-off positions.

Youth Intake Preview

Should be another great youth intake!

Anything close to the one we had this season would be amazing. Marcus Roos (YP16a), the star player from this years intake is already rated as a good OBOS-Ligaen player.

Well, we actually managed to finish as high as 5th in the league! A very good achievement in itself, even though Sandnes Ulf beat us in the play-off quarter final.

Marcus Roos (YP16a) has been on fire this season, and ended up as the top scorer in the league. Not bad for a 16 year old!

I really hope this wasnt a fluke, and we can finish around the same place next season. Our starting XI is very good, but when someone from that team is missing, that is when we start to struggle.

Sandnes Ulf lost in the play-off final to Odd.

Every player that is rated at 3.5* and higher is currently a good OBOS-Ligaen player.

Goodbye

Oliver Mills (YP07d) will leave us at the end of the year. Our most capped player has been with us in four different tiers, but he does no longer have the ability to be part of our squad. The two last seasons he has mostly been used as a substitute.

Youth Intake 2039

Thomas Gudmundsen (YP17a) looks like an absolute beast of a player! Not only does he look great stat wise, he also has the personality to go really far. He might the first proper star at the club to be honest. I have to tie him down for a long time!

The second best player this year, Patrick Gosvig (YP17b), also looks like a great prospect. Lacks a bit in the physical area, but his mentals are great!

We lost our first game of the season, but we're still doing much better than predicted.

We faced Bodø/Glimt again this season. Last year it ended with a big 0-5 defeat, this time around the result was much better!

Another good month! We lost against Haugesund as six of our starting players was missing.

Not a perfect month by any means, as we lost points to Gjelleråsen and Start. But we are still at the top of the table!

Not a good month with two defeats. At least we managed a draw against Sogndal, so they did not catch up to us. We're still six points ahead of third though, with eight games to go.

I don't remember 100%, but I think this is a new record for the team! Thomas Gudmundsen (YP17a) is still 15 years old, and has been called up to the U23s!

Absolute shocker of a game against Tromsø, but we turned it around after that. Six points down to third with four games to go.

Youth Intake Preview

It is still rated as a "Excellent Intake", but looking at the rating below, it suggests that this youth intake will be of a lot weaker than the other we've had over the years. The two last intakes was amazing, and both of the top players from those intakes are now rated as Eliteserien players!

After an unbeliable season we win finish the league as Champions! And by doing that, we are promoted to the top tier of Norwegian football! We scored 15 goals more than the second best team in the league. It could not have done without Marcus Roos (YP16a), he has fired on all cylinders this season, and ended up with 20 goals. Thomas Gudmundsen (YP17a) was the final piece of the puzzle really, and I am really thankful we have him tied down for many years to come.

We have turned Professional after the promotion, and to my surprise, most of the players have agreed to new contracts!

This year we have let go of Krzysztof Marciniak (YP09b). He has been the rock in the defence for many years, but he is no longer good enough. And when he wanted a new contract with a higher wage than any other player, the only thing I could do was to let him go.

How are you finding the file, any issues I should know about? I know some teams get mixed up in the regions at times, but I haven't played as far into a save as you, so quite interested to see if things are okay or completely haywire.

We've done it way, way quicker than I anticipated!

 

Absolutely zero problems whatsoever! As you mentioned, a few teams have ended up in the wrong league, but that is not a gamebreaker, for me at least. I've had one crash, but after I updated my computer nothing has happened, so I am confident that was the issue.

Well, that's disappointing. That is not how I wanted our first youth intake of the 40's to look like! At least the three best players look good, and has decent personalities.

I might be a little bit to harsh at this intake, as almost every youth intake we've had through the years have came with a new starter. To be honest, this is probably what I should expect from now on, as it has to peak sometime!

Actually, looking a Jonny Skogvold (YP18a), I am a bit surprised he does not have a higher CA, as he looks more than decent! 199cm tall and 15 jumping is something I really don't expect from a 15 year old. And a CB with the player trait "Likes To Lob Keeper" is a bit weird

At home against Vålerenga, a very good team. If I could, I would add them as a Rival team, as they are one of the three Oslo teams in the top league.

 

Absolutely wild first half. They might turn it around though, as I paused the game after our 3-0 goal

A very good start to our life in the top tier! Other than the amazing 5-0 win, we managed a draw away to Molde. That is also an amazing result, as they are the reigning champions of the Eliteserien.

Well... We managed to keep him for three games in the Eliteserien... The money will do us good though, and I really hope we can get the first upgrades to the facilities.

We have a real problem in the striker position now though.
