cristhianlinhatti
Hello everyone! Since read this post, four years ago, i try replicate all ideas inside my game - the posicional play. So, i am frustrated for four years. And my hope is in each new version, but i stay frustrated. Again and again. My idea at this post is discuss concepts of positional play sucessfuly aplicated in the FM. And show this masterpiece analysis. PEP BAYERN

Hilly1979
Take a look at this, describes the principles of positional play perfectly, not entirely difficult to transfer to FM either.

NotSoSpecialOne
The article is pretty lengthy, so I admittedly jumped down to the bullet points but as a whole it looks reasonably achievable, sans a couple of points maybe, in this current match engine. crusadertsar
The concept of overload and isolate is central to Pep's philosophy no matter which of his three teams you are trying to replicate. I've been messing with overloads since FM19. I had mixed results before. But finally with current version I think overloads have become consistently achievable. So replicating Guardiola's tactics is definitely possible in FM21. My most recent tactic resembles somewhat the style that Pep employed at Bayern with inverted wingbacks and overloads on the wings. Hopefully this can help you: Edited December 28, 2020 by crusadertsar
