il muce
Am I the only one having problems with deactivation of a license ? I receive the same error for the past 4-5 days: "Unable to deactivate." I sent a mail to Uniloc to fm2009-deactivation-support"at"unilocusa.com on monday, no reply from them yet. Also sent a PM to Matt - SEGA yesterday, no reply as well. What can I do more ? Sorry to say but I'm losing patience as a customer. I understand that technical problems can occur every now and then but we're talking about 4-5 days and not an announcement made, nothing. This is disrespectful.

MazeMouse
Hi everybody,i am so disapointed...i thought that by now all the issues would be solved, but im still having a nightmare!! After all I went through to install the game, now i cant activate! is it because im on xp 64-bit? here's what happened: downloaded fixv3 from the link above (i assume its the latest version and the name hasnt been changed for practicality reasons), installed, ran it, put in the correct license after i verified i had all the characters right, and when i click "save file" i get an error box coming up saying: ***************************************************** Form1 Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect [details] [continue] [quit] *********************************************** and if i click the details it shows: See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.BadImageFormatException: An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. gazcope
Im suddenly having activation issues even though Ive been playing happily since the early release day problems. Ive bought the game through Steam back in November and now out the blue when I go on the launch button the soft anchor page comes up asking for my code. Ive copied the code from steam into it and it says I need a new code with error -819. If I try and activate through steam it just says invalide code. Could anyone help please? Thanks

That Kid Alex
Have SI sorted the problems with 64bit OS' out yet? Do they even care? I can't play the game since i switched to Vista 64. Same Exception Hresult etc. problem as many others when i try to use the fixv3(runme..exe), and logically steam activation doesn't work, and the softanchor activation crashes. God, stuff is getting worse every year with FM.

Same Exception Hresult etc. problem as many others when i try to use the fixv3(runme..exe), and logically steam activation doesn't work, and the softanchor activation crashes. God, stuff is getting worse every year with FM. FM09 worked fine on Vista64 for me, activated via steam. Had my Vista64 HD crash yesterday so forced to use my old XP drive. Thing is steams now giving me a "Server is too busy try again later" message when attempting it at the moment. Whatever happened to using the CD-Key encoded with the game disc rather than online? I mean not everyone has internet and activating by phone is not something everyone would want to do.. should come with a warning "internet connection required". Cant get the Uniloc one to work even with this "fix" I suspect its due to the key being wrong I cant tell whether they are 1's or I's or 0's or O's.
