Average points over 2 different seasons? There was something like this in a save last year, where someone tried to rule the whole of South America. Possibly even Makoto. From what was discussed in that thread, apologies for not finding it to link to but I will try later on, the system is a rolling three season average league table. if you are promoted, as Makoto was, your points are averaged over that season to make it fair compared to other teams who have more games, but it rewards consistency (read bigger teams). What it means is that a big club can survive one poor season if they have two good seasons to balance it with, whereas a small team is constantly scrapping to get a good year that they can rely on.
