TerminalPortugal
A dominant performance from allowed us to beat Dinamo Zagreb 4-0 at home to keep us in the hunt for Champions League Second Round qualification, and probably now at least assures us Europa League qualification as a back up. TerminalPortugal
A huge win for us in the context of the Champions League as we beat Chelsea at home by 1-0. It will all come down to a crunch game at the Olimpico in Rome.
TerminalPortugal
Another brilliant month for us as we win all but a tough tie against Gladbach. We are still top of the league and are 4 points ahead of surprise package Gladbach. Dortmund are well behind and Bayern Munich look an absolute mess this season. TerminalPortugal
We were seconds away from progressing in the Champions League but a late Roma goal proves enough for Roma to progress in our stead. We will be dropping into the Europa League but it is very disappointing not to advance any further.
TerminalPortugal
The Europa League First Knockout Round has been made and we face Belgian outfit Club Brugge over two legs.
TerminalPortugal
Bayern Munich come calling but at this time I see no upside to moving to the Bavarian giants, so we decline the interview.
TerminalPortugal
A decent month from, we opened up with a loss against then 2nd place Stuttgart, and we fell out of the Champions League, however we did recover in the league with astute defensive performance and the odd goal up front to win the games. We are top by 3 points, and it's still Gladbach behind us, Dortmund have recovered by Bayern Munich having sacked the manager are absolutely nowhere. TerminalPortugal
No one can ever say I don't develop the youth as Jonas Frimann has been having a fantastic season so far on loan at the club from Tottenham Hotspur.
TerminalPortugal
We open up the cheque book for what looks like a serious prospect for the future. The DoF was willing to meet his £5.5m release clause fee and I can see why. Gunter Bargfrede leaves Werder Bremen and joins our ranks. It's probably a little early to expect him to force his way into the first team but he will be in it one day I am sure.
TerminalPortugal
Aymar Benteke is generally a good substitute for us in central midfield, I was going to keep him but he kicked off when we batted away the initial offer from Guangzhou, but he kicked off. Then Watford came in for him but he decided he didn't want to go there and continued to moan, Guangzhou came back this time with an open offer and we negotiated a price I was comfortable with for him. TerminalPortugal
Napoli are a good club and have won 3 Champions Leagues in a spell of dominance about a decade or so ago, but there does not appear to be much reason to move at this time, so we reject talks. Yeah, Bayern Munich have been abysmal this season. They keep going through Chinese managers, which is either weird or considering it is 2049, might be actually quite predictive of the future. TerminalPortugal
A very good month after the winter break as we beat Dortmund to extend our league lead. No goals conceded showing our defensive fortitude. It's now a 10 point lead in the league, with Dortmund in 2nd. It can't be understated how bad a season Bayern Munich are having, sitting in 9th and now 18 points behind us in January.
TerminalPortugal
Deadline day business Marek Drozd is on his way to the Volkswagen Arena. He is a probably a squad player, joining for £7.25m from Werder Bremen.
TerminalPortugal
Another deadline day transfer for us as we get in Jason Hutwelker from Nurnberg for £11.75m. Again another squad player that will add depth.

TerminalPortugal
Another superb month from us, as we only drop two points to Bayern Munich all month. TerminalPortugal
There are probably not any superstars in this youth intake, Altenhoner could end up a pretty decent player one day.
TerminalPortugal
The first leg of 2nd Knockout Round between us and Tottenham in London was a mad affair as the game ended 4-4. We found ourselves 3-1 up and then 4-3 down before a late equaliser gave us parity. We probably only need a draw at home to go through.

TerminalPortugal
The month did see us crash out of Europe to Tottenham but a battering of RB Leipzig and advancement in the DFB Pokal made up for it somewhat. I do not see us being stopped now on our procession to the title, 11 points ahead of Gladbach, 15 points ahead of Dortmund, 24 points ahead of Bayern this season, we are miles ahead of the rest of Germany at the moment. TerminalPortugal
We confirmed another Bundesliga title with a 5-0 win at Gladbach and managed to get to the German Cup Final. TerminalPortugal
With the end of that season I think it is time to call time on this career story. We have achieved pretty much what see set out to do and having won a few trophies in Europe, we have pretty much done everything we set out to do. Thanks to everyone who commented and who read the long journey. I will likely be back with a new story and new concept some time soon. Sergio Cordoba walks off into Wolfsburg sunset, perhaps he will go back to Fiji to lie on a beach. The End

So it is simply 3 (base points you get that for a win) x FIFA World Ranking (See first page) x Trophy Modifier (1 for not no trophies, 2 for if you won a trophy in the season) x Short League Modifier (if you played under 30 games) which is 30/number of games played = air miles per win and you multiply this by the number of your wins. Think all the rules are on the first page, The only thing I changed on the fly was the base points, as I started with 1 and it was taking way too long. Another chap asked before, but basically there is a website - https://www.mapdevelopers.com/draw-circle-tool.php You input the address of the stadium of the club you are at and then just put in the miles range in the radius box and it calculates it all for you. Yeah for some of it, big games I would play on commentary only, probably 50/50 between the two. There was a stage in Fiji, where I had to really assess the tactics where I went to extended for some friendlies etc, but once we got it right, there was only need for some minor tweaking every now and then. I'm assuming it was a custom one as you've managed teams in Fiji!
