We messed up but then again so did Dakota so we've ended up finishing the season in 2nd after all.

Bentleigh Greens Soccer Club is an Australian semi professional soccer club based in Cheltenham, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. The club was formed in 1986, by the Greek Cypriot community and currently competes in the National Premier Leagues Victoria. Bentleigh made nationwide headlines when it became the first club below the A-League to make the semi-final of the FFA Cup in 2014. The Greens hit another milestone a year later when they claimed their first major trophy, the NPL Victoria title. In 2016, Bentleigh Greens became Victorian top-flight league premiers for the first time.

Bentleigh are one of six state league teams to have eliminated an A-League team in the FFA Cup, along with Heidelberg United FC, Redlands United FC, Green Gully SC, Adelaide City FC and Blacktown City FC.

Dropped points again in the final game of the season, but we were dominant throughout! Now I wait for an A-League job to crop up.

Champions! And now I look out for any A-League job openings. March was the month of our goalkeeper Stephen Forbes, 7 goals in 3 games!!!

It's funny how many non NSW teams are in this division despite it being a Northern NSW comp 😂

Amazing progress though, you'll finish Australia off in no time!

Well that was probably the easiest season you've had so far!

Look a decent side though, kinda a shame there's no promotion or relegation in Australia, i wonder their reasoning behind it.

I wonder if we'll get any easier seasons! Maybe it's the same sort of deal that the USA has, I don't know though.

I didn't move any teams in the editor, that's just how they are.

I think I'll try to win the Asian CL with an Australian side as well.

Melbourne City FC.svg

Melbourne City Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in the northern Melbourne suburb of Bundoora, Victoria. It competes in the country's premier competition, the A-League, under licencefrom Football Federation Australia.

Founded in 2009 as Melbourne Heart, the club competed under that name from its inaugural 2010–11 season until it was acquired and subsequently rebranded in mid-2014 by the City Football Group, in partnership with Holding M.S. Australia. In August 2015, City Football Group bought out the Holding M.S. Australia consortium to acquire 100% ownership of the club.

The club is run from the City Football Academy, a facility based at Melbourne's La Trobe University. The club plays home matches at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, commercially known as AAMI Park, a 30,050 seat multi-use venue in Melbourne's City Centre. The club also has an affiliated youth team which competes in the National Youth League, a NPL team which competes in the National Premier Leagues and a senior women's team which competes in the W-League.

We won the league last season, why are we bottom of the table?

How is this the entire team. Both the senior and youth team adds up to 15 players, 1 is injured, 2 are here on loan and 7 of them are on youth contracts. Whilst another 3 are 34 or over. God damn.

Just now, HawkAussie said:

Why didn't you just put promotion in place for the Australian leagues (even though we don't have it in RL)

Because that would require the advanced editor, which I didn't use. It's simple enough to do and I did it in FM18, I ended up holidaying to 2080 with one relegation spot but it was still the same 10 teams in the A-League, every time one got relegated they came straight back up the following season.
