Kubson
Milton Keynes Dons Football Club (/ˌmɪltən ˈkiːnz ˈdɒnz/; usually abbreviated to MK Dons) is a professional football club in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England, founded in 2004, following Wimbledon F.C.'s controversial relocation to Milton Keynes from south London, when it adopted its present name, badge and home colours.[n 2] As of the 2017–18 season, it plays in League One, the third tier of English football. Initially based at the National Hockey Stadium, the club competed as Milton Keynes Dons from the start of the 2004–05 season. After two years in League One it was relegated to the fourth-tier League Two. The club then missed out on promotion in the play-offs before it moved to the newly built Stadium MK for the 2007–08 season, when Milton Keynes Dons won the League Two title under the management of Paul Ince. Milton Keynes Dons also won the Football League Trophy that year. The team remained in League One until the 2014–15 season when it won promotion to the Championship under the management of Karl Robinson, however they were relegated back to League One after one season at the higher level. Milton Keynes Dons have built a strong reputation for youth development, boasts 16 disability teams and its football trust engages around 60 000 people; between 2012 and 2013 the club produced 11 young players who have been called into age group national teams and between 2004 and 2014 the club gave first-team debuts to 14 local academy graduates, including the England international midfielder Dele Alli. The squad: The squad is very good for League One standards, 100% good enough to get promoted back to the Championship, really the only weak area in my opinion are goalkeepers, we'll have to work on that, I think. The bookies seem to agree, so the pressure is early on! So why MK Dons of all places? I always like to manage in England and I feel like the League One is a good starting point, not too hard and not too easy at the same time, which is perfect for me. They have a good youth set-up and often produce gems, which go on to become superstars in both FM and real life (Dele Alli) Or like this man (teen ) Not bad for a 17 year old, very good physically with superb potential ability, watch out for this lad as he could become a legend. Anyway back to the topic, I also chose MK Dons, due to their reputation, it's always them who are shown as an 'evil' and 'heartless' club, without a history. Well, time to change that! I also love their kits, badge and stadium Let's get this going, I'll see you after the pre-season ends. Hopefully this is going to be a success. Kubson
Pre-season 2017 Two loanees and one pernament signing. Barlaser is a very good pick-up on loan from Newcastle, he's going to be an excellent inside-foward or an attacking midfielder, we pay nothing for him as well We took a punt on Sinclair as we also pay nothing, no wages nor a monthly fee, he looks like a tidy foward for this level, in case he's good we'll look to buy him, as according to my scouts Watford don't want that much, if he's we lost nothing. Given is an excellent goalkeeper for this level despite being 41 years old, he could even do a job in the Championship, so for us to sign him is a real coup, we needed an decent keeper and we got just that. A decent pre-season saw us comfortably beating non-league sides. A dissapointing draw against Barnet, but an amazing win over Belgian 1st tier side makes up for it. DazRTaylor
I wish you well, but this will be one of the few threads where I wish you suffer numerous relegations, mountains of debt, non existent crowds and outrageous disciplinary problems. Needless to say, I am not a fan of Franchise FC.

Kubson
August 2017 Fixtures: A solid start with 3 wins from 4, with 1 draw. We have scored 10 goals already and haven't conceded any (yet) We started off with an amazingly: a 4-0 win over recently relegated Wigan! It was a tight game and the result is a bit harsh on Wigan, but we'll take it We followed that up with a 3-0 win away at Blackpool, in this game we surely deserved the 3 points, we out-played them in every single way. Our attack looks deadly at the start of the year, let me tell you that! Back at the MK:Stadium with another 3 points and another 3 goals scored. They dominated us very early on, but we took control later on and they didn't have a chance afterwards. We rounded off our league games with a hard-fought 0-0 draw at Edwood Park. We might not have won, but I'm still happy, as Blackburn are a good side and this is probably one of the toughest games we'll have to play all year. Can we end the season now? Very good performances from our side see us flying high, we're top! We look solid at the back and we have an explosive attack, with bags of pace and finishing ability We're also doing well in the Carabao Cup! An routine win over 4th tier side Cheltenham, followed up by a shock victory over Fulham, sees us face Derby County in the 3rd round, this will probably will be the end for us, but you'll never know We were never in much danger here and our backups have done the job superbly. Now this is the big one Fulham have lost to MK Dons, would you belive it? We took an 2-0 lead by the end of the 1st half and it looked like we were going to see out this lead, but Kamara had other ideas as he scored a brace to take this tie to extra-time, but later he ****ed up as he missed from the spot, all of this for nothing, poor guy This is a trophy I couldn't care less about. Looks like the boys do however, as our back-ups have demolished Brighton U-21'S, Brighton didn't even have a shot on target and only 4 in total, that's all you need to know 2 tables and we're on top of both of them Squad update and POTM: As we're flying high early on, as you'd expect the average ratings are high Really only Sinclair has been ******, the rest of the team is playing just like it should Now in terms of POTM, I have to give to Agard, he is amazing out on the right wing, his pace leaves defenders for dead and he knows how to put the ball into the box and into the back of the net, 2 goals and 3 assists and a 7,86 AR proves just that. Kubson
September 2017 Fixtures: Another decent month with 2 draws and 4 wins. Sadly we have started conceding a lot, though our attack is still going strong. We started September off with a 3-1 away victory at Plymouth. Like in our previous games we were in control of most of the match, though Plymouth started to looked better after going 2-0 down and scored the first goal against out of the season. It took us 417 minutes to concede We weren't in control of this match however. Our second draw of the season and I have to say it's a fair result as neither of the sides could dominate the game, altough it's annoying to only draw this after we took the lead in the 10th minute. 2-0 vs bottom of the table Rochdale and looking and those stats it's not hard to see why they are bottom. They only had 5 shots all game and didn't have a single good chance against us. The big derby The good vs the evil Fans vs Franchise This was by far our worst game of the season in terms of performance, how Wimbledon didn't win this one I'll never know, we were awful. Though we did score 2 goals Sadly Barlaser just had to put the second in our own net A much improved performance in our next game saw us pick up all 3 points against Northampton. As usual in FM they scored with their only shot on target It's a good thing we scored 3 goals or I would have smashed the ****ing PC To end off the league fixtures this month we won 3-2 away at Bury. This was a much harder game than the Northampton one and the result was in danger throught the whole 90 minutes, fortunately for us Bury's comeback was just too late. And we're still top of the table, though Blackburn are behind only on GD, fortunately for us we have a game in hand on them We're not out yet A shock 2-0 win over Derby has got to be the highlight of the season so far We actually outplayed them in this match, Derby failed to even get 1 shot on target For beating derby we got a 'reward' in form of a tie against Watford... this is not gonna be fun, isn't it? Squad update and POTM: We still are going strong which is reflected bo our average ratings Anyway Gibley is the POTM imo. He has been the heart of our midfield and in the last games he registered a 7,38 AR, as well as picking up 1 goal and 3 assists.

Kubson
October 2017 Fixtures: Perfection. You only need one word to describe our recent league form. As Gibbs has been showing amazing form in the U-18's befoe the game, 15 goals in 10 games (!) and has 2* CA already I decided to give him a crack in our away fixture against Portsmouth. He now has 18 in 13, and look at those ****ing physicals! Anyway we came away with an easy 2-0 win, Pompey didn't look great in that game. While Gibbs didn't score he did get himself an assit Next up was struggling Walsall, don't let the result fool you, this was a pretty hard game and Walsall 100% didn't deserve to lose by 3 goals, hell they even could have snatched a draw if they were clinical, like we were. In the end they weren't and that was the difference in this game Same can't be said for Oldham however. We outplayed them to say the least, look at those stats! This match felt like facing an Conference side rather than a League one team, they were shocking! Next up a travel to Bristol to face bottom of the table Bristol Rovers. They were actually really good in this match depsite going down to 10 man, hell I'm going to say this out loud they deserved to beat us! Fortunately we come away with a 2-0 win thanks to the genius that is Agard! To finish it off a home game against Bradford City. Another good performance and another good win, in the other news the sky is blue. We're now 7 points clear of Fleetwood with a game in hand! We have a very good chance of going up this year, didn't expect us to be finding it as easy as we are! 35 go als scored and 6 conceded in 15 games. Mental. Sadly our run in the Carabao Cup came to end A 2-1 loss against Watford isn't bad however and it took them extra time to get past us, so I'm proud of the lads! Squad update and POTM: Forgot to take the top scorers, assiters, etc. list! Sorry! Anyway the player of the month is Barlaser imo. He just looks very impressive every time he plays, he creates a lot of chances, gets a lot of assits and scores as well! 6 goals and 9 assits in the league so far is nothing to be sniffed at!
