I've got less points than anyone in either division :(

'Mon N. Ireland..!!

true, but you did make it pretty hard for yourself picking N. Ireland, (no offence to N.Ireland), so you do have one of the hardest to manage, alongside Wales.

Match Analysis of each Q/F:

Holland v. Czech Republic

Starting line ups:

Holland:

Van Der Sar

Kromkamp

Bouma

Da Silva

Mathijsen

Seedorf ©

Schaars

Van Persie

Sneijder

Robben

Huntelaar

Interesting info: Ruud Van Nistlerooy and Van Der Vaart both only make the bench. Holland are p;aying an attacking 4-2-3-1 formation.

Czech Republic

Drobny

Grygera

Jiranek

Ujfalusi

Kalouda

Pudil

Svec

Rosicky ©

Baros

Stajner

Interesting info: Czech Republic line up with a 3-4-1-2 formation, also very attacking which means Hubschman only has a place on the bench.

The match begins...

Czech Republic on the attack - Oh no, they've lost it! Here is Kromkamp, passes it inside to Robin Van Persie on the right hand side of the Czech penalty box, he shoots... GOAL! What a strike from RVP as the dutch go one up. He bent in the left hand top corner, fabulous goal.

Holland 1 (RVP, 10) Czech Republic 0

goal kick from Drobny is easily picked up by Seedorf, who plays it out to RVP, he passes it inside to Sneijder, great chance, surely! Oh he's skied it! A great chance for holland to go 2 up. Czech Republic are starting to get into the game and are now just lookng to get the final ball right, and then the game can be back in their grasp. Holland are starting to dominate and Huntelaar just had a couple of half chances but had no luck in adding to their lead. Surprise move from Holland manager Darren Husher their as he brings off Huntelaar for the defender John Heitinga.

Half Time: Holland 1(Robin Van Persie (10)) Czech Republic 0

Second Half:

The second half has been very quiet with the only real attacks being a Seedorf free-kick into the box but Drobny was equal to Robben's header and a long range strike from Milan Baros. Good ball from Seedorf down to the right for Van Der Vaart who had been bought on just 1 minute ago, who crosses the ball in to Van Persie.... Who nods it into the net!

Holland 2 (Van Persie (10, 82) Czech Republic 0

Surely its over now!

AND THERE'S THE FULL TIME WHISTLE! Holland have progressed to the Semi finals due to RVP goals. The dream is over for Andis Blinds but Darren won't mind has his ever improving Holland side progress to the next round. Unlucky Andis, but well doe Darren

Next game is FRANCE V. CROATIA

France v. Croatia

Starting Line Ups:

Portugal

Frey

Sagna

Clichy

Gallas ©

Mexes

Pedretti

Toulalan

Diaby

Ribery

Malouda

Henry

Interesting Info: Abidal only gets on the bench behind Clichy, and if Loic Perrin is brought on, it will be his first appearance for the French first team. France are playing a 4-1-2-2-1 formation.

Croatia

Pletikosta

Srna

Neretljak

Simunic

Modric ©

Babic

Corluka

Leko

Klasnic

Eduardo

Interesting info: Croatia play a normal 4-4-2 and 30 year old Igor Tudor with 57 caps for Croatia could only make the bench.

The Match begins...

Babic doodles on the ball and is tackled by sagna, who passes to Toulalan, who finds Diaby, he has a go! Well wide, the first strike of the game was not one to be remembered, but the match has begun. Sagna gets possession once more, passes it to Ribery, who crosses it in, knocked back to Diaby by Henry, GOAL! What a strike from Diaby! 2nd time lucky I suppose as the French go one up!

France 1 (Diaby 15) Croatia 0

France continue to put the pressure on Croatia as Ribery puts the ball in for Henry... who heads it just over... We're 40 minutes in and still waiting for Croatia to get into the game. Could this be the end for Croatia? If not they have to do something soon to turn this game around. Well the whistle goes to signal the end to a good half for France and a poor one for Croatia. Having no shots compared to France's 10! They'll need to come out strongly in the second half.

Half Time: France 1 (Diaby 15) Croatia 0

The Second Half begins...

Well no changes were made for either nations as they come out into the second half. The French immediately are on the attack, as Ribery passes it to Henry

who passes it along to Malouda, who strikes it... Saved! but the ball come back and Malouda strikes it into the empty net! Not offside, good goal for the French, is it too late for the Croatians to come back into this now???

France 2 (Diaby 15, Malouda 51) Croatia 0

Still no shots from the Croatians as the French come close a couple of times. Benzema knocks it down from a Goal kick, Anelka controls, shoots! Great save! Only a couple of minutes left now and it is surely over for the Croatians. The final whistle goes!

France 2 (diaby 15, Malouda 51) Croatia 0

Well a poor performance from Croatia who had a total of ONE SHOT throughout the game. We really did expect more. Ah well, better luck next time Croatia :) and well done France on a good performance

Sweden v. Italy

Starting Line Ups:

Sweden

Isaksson

Olsson

Melberg

Svensson

Concha

Linderoth ©

Kallstrom

Larsson

Farnerud

Elmander

Imbrahimovic

Interesting info: Sweden play a 4-4-2. with a narrow diamond and the 2 strikers both heading to the wings. This is the only nation not managed by us, so hopefully Italy can put an end to that.

Italy

Buffon

Chiellini

Cannavaro

Rinaudo

Zambrotta

Rosina

Montilivo

De Rossi

Camoranasi

Rossi

Toni

Interesting info: Italy play a normal 4-4-2 with a mixture of experience and youth. Pirlo only makes the bench and Gattuso also is left on the bench. Let the game, begin!

The Match begins...

Here we are in the first minute, corner to Italy, ball in near post by Montilivo, Toni's there, GOAL! 1 minute in and Italy are already 1 up! A dream start for the Italians!

Italy 1 (Toni 1) Sweden 0

Here we are, Italy attacking again, here's Toni, brought down, surely! Yes, its a penalty! Rosina steps up, GOAL! 15 minutes in and it already looks bleak for Sweden!

Italy 2 (Toni 1, Rosina 15) Sweden 0

Here we are again, italy on the attack, bal into the box, there's a scramble in the box, Concha brings down Rosina! PENALTY again! Such drama, R osina takes, and slots it home! 3-0! easy for the Italians.

Italy 3 (Toni 1, Rosina 15, 39) Sweden 0

And the whistle goes for half time, it's already over unless something amazing occurs which I doubt.

Half Time: Italy 2 (Toni 1, Rosina 15) Sweden 0

The Second Half begins...

Camoronesi crosses the ball in, Olssen controls it, bad mistake! Toni nicks it off him, and goal! 4-0!

Italy 4 (Toni 1, 53, Rosina 15, 39) Sweden 0

Imbrahimovic has the- No, he's lost it! Long ball to Toni, who flicks it through for Rossi, who takes it round the keeper, and 5-0 it is. Easy and this, could easily be 6 or 7 at this rate. Or not, it's been dissalowed! Doesn't matter though, as the game's already over. De Rossi picks it up, but, is tackled by Andersson, who puts a great ball for Prica, who chips it over the keeper, great goal.

Italy 4 (Toni 1, 53, Rosina 15, 39) Sweden 1 (Prica 67)

Toni picks it up, spreads it to Camoranesi, who passes it inside the box back to Toni, who smashes it in! 5-1! Fantastic stuff from the Italians, you can see them winning this thing. And Toni now has his hattrick.

Italy 5 (Toni 1, 53, 73 Rosina 15, 39) Sweden 1 (Prica 67) There goes the final whistle to a fabulous performance from the Italians. Don't rule them out yet, they are more than capable of winning it.

Full time: Italy 5 (Toni 1, 53, 73 Rosina 15, 39) Sweden 1 (Prica 67)

Portugal v. England

Startng Line Ups:

Portuga

Ricardo

Da Costa

Pepe

Carvalho

Miguel

Meira ©

Tiago

Deco

C.Ronaldo

Nani

Almeida

Interesting info: Portugal play a 4-1-2-2-1 formation, with captain Meira in DM.

England

Carson

Cole

Terry ©

R.Ferdinand

Richards

Barry

Lampard

Gerrard

SWP

Rooney

Owen

Interestig Info: England are playinga casual 4-4-2, and Beckham doesn't even make the bench, (partly as he isn't even in the squad lol)

The game begins...

England with a corner, gerrard whips it in, Barry meets it! Over... First chance of the game. The game so far has been scrappy with the only chances being half chances created by set pieces. 37 mins in, free kick for Portugal. Deco takes... Great save from Carson! Good free-kick from Deco but Carson was equal to it. The Half time whistle goes to end a mediocre half for both halfs and we'll be hoping for more in the 2nd.

Half Time: Portugal 0 England 0

The Secon Half Begins:

Gerrard picks up the ball, passes it to Terry, he returns it to Gerrard, who passes it out wide to Wright Phillips. He takes on Miguel, he's tripped! Surely a foul inside the box! YES! It's a penalty to England! The Portugal players are protesting furiosly as Lampard steps up to tak the penalty. Lampard shoots... GOAL! 1-0 ENGLAND! Cooly slotted into the bottom left hand corner by Frank Lampard.

Portugal 0 England 1 (Lampard 73 Pen,)

Here's Miguel for Portugal, passes it down the wing to Ronaldo, who passes it into Almeida, who strikes from range! Saved! and cleared away by Terry. Portugal need something to stay in this game, let alone this whole competition. Maniche, passes it to Almeida, who turns Ferdinand! But is tripped! Just outside the box! Was he last man? Apparently not and is not even booked! Maniche takes the free kick... Blocked by the wall and cleared, big let down there for Portugal. Miguel, good pass to Ronaldo, who runs inside, shoots! Just over the bar. Portugal putting England under pressure. Last minute corner for Portugal, Maniche puts it in the box... Cleared! And there goes the final whistle! England beat France due to a penalty converted by Lampard. Unlucky for Portugal, but England won't mind!

Full Time: Portugal 0 England 1 (Lampard 73 Pen,)

Euro 2008 Semi Final:

Holland v. England

Starting Line ups:

Holland:

Van Der Sar

Kromkamp

Boulahrouz

Mathijsen

Bouma

Schaars

Mendes Da Silva

Seedorf ©

Sneijder

Robben

Van Persie

Extra Info: Holland play a 4-2-3-1 formation and once again Van Nistlerooy, Babel, Huntelaar and Van der Daart only make the bench! Sneijder is set to win his 50th cap for Holland. If Holland win today, it'll be their 10th consecutive victory! Michel Vorm will make his debut if brought on.

England:

Carson

Richards

Terry ©

Ferdinand

Cole

SWP

Gerrard

Lampard

Barry

Rooney

Owen

Extra Info: England play a normal 4-4-2 again. Michael Owen needs just ONE more goal to become Englands all time scorer! Baines and Lescott will make debuts if brought on. Ashley Cole is set to win his 75th cap.

The Game Begins...

Bouma has given Owen a slight injury early on today and the defender escapes without a booking. Kromkamp takes a throw in, in to Seedorf, passes it inside to Sneijder, plays it to Van Persie, he does a one two with Robben, excellent football! He's away! OOOOO Amazing tackle! Rio Ferdinand comes in just in time to clear the ball. 10 out of 10 for that tackle. Half an hour in and not much has happened bar the 'almost' chance for Van Persie. Free kick for England, ball in from Gerrard, flicked on by Owen, Richards has a go! SAVED! Great save from Van Der Sar as he tips it over the bar. The corner comes to night... Goal kick taken by Van Der Sar, headed back by Terry, here's lampard, passes it to rooney, takes a touch, fouled! Dangerous area for England here. And Stevie G steps up to take it... He shoots! Deflected! Saved! Great reaction from Van Der Sar there as Holland clear it out. The whistle goes to signal the end of the first half.

Half Time: England 0 Holland 0

Second Half...

Reo-Coker on fo Lampard is the only change at the break. Kromkamp, back to Boulahrouz, passes it to Mendes Da Silva, who gives it to Sneijder, he turns, REO COKER HACKED HIM DOWN WITH 2 FEET! Is he off? YES, it's red! The Holland fans wave him off and now England are in trouble. Holland now going for it with babel brought on for Boulahrouz. Bouma, to Robben, passes it inside to Sneijder, takes a touch, shoots from range! ooooooo... Great save from Carson as England struggle to contain the Dutch. Ball kicked long from Van Der Sar, Nistlerooy flicks it down to Schaars, who passes it robben, who puts RVP away down the left, he passes it inside the area, but Bentley blocks it! Right to Schaars, who shoots, blocked again by Bentley! Falls to John Terry, who for some reason takes a touch into his area, right to Ruud Van Nistlerooy, who SCORES!

England 0 Holland 1 (Van Nistlerooy 82)

The Dutch go mad as they go one up with just 8 minutes remaining. Has captain John Terry just knocked them out of the Euro's??? YES! HE HAS! The final whistle goes and the captain Terry and Reo-Coker must take the blame for this. The dream is over for England, but the Dutch are in Euro 2008 final, and deserve to be, well done Holland

Full time: England 0 Holland 1 (Van Nistlerooy 82)
