KUTGW looks good

Thanks alot!

NOTE: Just for everyones attention, i will be doin Matchday posts until September the 1st (Game time) when i will change to monthly (Gametime) posts.

This will be a test and afterwards people will be asked which way they liked best, remembering that doing it in monthly chunks will be quicker and easier for me but probably a bit less detailed, and will probably come twice a week. For example i will probably be posting september and octobers monthly reports by the end of this week (IRL)

Or doing it the way i am, the game time will be slower and we won't get through a smuch in a short period of time but it will probably be slightly more detailed and you will have more frequent but shorter updates.

i would think monthly would be better, as we can see how we are progressing quicker, otherwise we'll be waiting months IRL for our players to get anywhere.

although ill wait til you update as monthly first, just to see what i prefer.

KUTGW!

Kenobi started the match for Orient where as Gault was once again replaced by Steve Phillips in goal. Both players will have had a smile on their faces at the end of the match, Kenobi saw his team score four goals, where Gault saw his rival play poorly and was slated in the paper (5/10).

Kenobi was the best midfielder on the park, passing well, including 3 key passes, and sliding balls through the hapless Bristol Defence, resulting in an assist for the youngster.

Alright! Great update....KUTGW!!!

19/08/07 Friendlies

Vilanova Vs Conquense (Championo)

Championo continued to captain his side and saw his side run away with another comfortable win against non league side Vilanova. Championo had 5 shots but unfortunately only found the target with one of them, which forced a smart save from the opposition keeper. He ended up with a 7 a good performance and another win for his side in their pre season travels.

Vilanova 0 – 3 Conquense

19/08/07 Serie C Cup Group D

Novara Vs Cremonese (Bonus)

Although Bonus had not been featured in many of the friendlies, he was called upon to play up front in the first competitive match of the Italian Serie C season. By half time his side were 1-0 down and the game seemed to be passing Brucie by, during half team his managers team talk must not have inspire Brucie as he was taken off at the 60 minute mark after a poor performance, gaining a rating of 6/10 and not doing anything to cement his place in the team. Fortunately his side did mange to level the game, and with the next match being Novara in the league will Bonus get another chance?

22/08/07 English Reserve League

Blackpool Res Vs Darlington Res (Pearce)

Josh Pearce was dropped from the Blackpool squad and was told that he wasn’t going to be taken on the trip to Portman Road home of Ipswich Town.

He did however get a chance to prove himself in the Reserve side, and prove himself he did.

Scoring 2 goals in the second half to claim Man of the Match did show the quality that he can produce, however with the manager and team traveling to Ipswich will this performance be remembered.

Blackpool Res 2 – 0 Darlington Res

25/08/07 English League – Blue Square Premier

Halifax Vs Droylsden (Lowes)

Lowes started the match up front with strike partner Banim, the match started off well with Droylsden having the bigger share of possession, on the 15minute mark Droylsden got a corner, which Lowes drilled in to the near post to find the head of his team mate Chris Denham, who scored his first goal of the season. 1-0 Droylsden. It stayed 1-0 until half time, the mangers team talk must have been inspirational as Droylsden came out and turned on the class, strike partner Banim putting a ball through for Lowes who struck it past the keeper with ease. Halifax did pull one back, but Droylsden weren’t worried as they took their star player off after 73 minutes, and although Lowes finished on the bench he also finished with the MOM award, with a rating of 8/10.

Halifax 1 – 2 Droylsden

Burton Vs Rushden (Baker)

Barker once again started the match in his unfavoured Midfield Right position. Rushden went ahead when a freekick was conceded to the left hand side of the box, a cross was floated in and Howell scored.

It took Burton another 40 minutes before they scored a long ball finding Clare one on one with the keeper who couldn’t save his shot.

Baker was moved up front alongside Clare for the second half.

Goalscorer Clare was involved again, as Baker got the ball and passed it onto Clare, Clare then found Stride who struck the ball into the net.

The final goal of the match came ten minutes before time and saw a corner headed in, to put Burton 3-1 up.

Burton 3 -1 Rushden

25/08/07 English League – Coca Cola League 2

Rotherham Vs Chesterfield (Crane)

Crane once again started on the Right Wing for Rotherham, and saw his team get off to a good start, as Derek holmes smashed a ball in on the 16 minute mark to make it 1-0.

Crane throughout the match dribbled the ball well having 6 runs of note, and after the half time interval he was instrumental in putting the game beyond doubt as he put O’Grady through to see the game go 2-0 to Rotherhams favour.

O’Grady scored again and the match was over 3-0, and a good rating of 8/10 for Crane.

Rotherham 3 – 0 Chesterfield

Barnet Vs Chester (Tomaldinho)

Tomaldinho started up front for Chester as they looked to kick start their season against a heavily favoured Barnet side. Unfortunately it quickly looked as though the pundits favourite would win. Tomaldinho trying to get in the game quickly had two offsides given against him and one shot flying high and wide. Just before the half time Barnets possession proved vital when they strung some passes together and put Delicate through to score a delicate finish.

After half time Tomaldinho got 2 shots on target but neither of them really tested the keeper and he saw his side eventually lose 2-0, and a disappointing 6/10 for himself.

Barnet 2 – 0 Chester

Darlington Vs Grimsby (Varmenov, Beams)

Both men started the game and had something to prove after being dropped for last weeks match. Beams was the first to prove himself 15 minutes in having a shot on target himself, and then 3 minutes later putting a lovely ball in for Pawel Abbot to head home.

Varmenov soon had a shot saved afterwards trying to prove himself.

Half time came and went and Varmenov sprung into action again pouncing on a loose ball and setting Abbot away for him to score his second goal.

During the second half beams was quiet, and throughout the whole game only struck 4 successful passes including his assist, he still managed a 7/10. Varmenov was slightly better with an 8/10 rating and passing better.

Darlington 2 – 0 Grimsby

Lincoln Vs Bury (Lazewski, Barker)

Both men were surprisingly benched for this match after they scored one each previously. Even more surprisingly neither of the men were brought on as subs, in fact no one was brought on even though Bury lost 4-0. Will this infuriate the youngsters? Was this a managing calamity?

Lincoln 4 – 0 Bury

MK Dons Vs Rochdale (Kryzanowski)

Danny started the match and played well in the first ten minutes stringing a lot of passes together. The first half saw 1 goal and 2 injuries, both injuries going against Rochdale, and the Dons scored a goal just after 30 minutes.

Kryzanowski struck 15 minutes half time scoring his 1st career goal and making the match as good as finished. A third goal was added just after Kryzanowski was taken off on the 70 minute mark. Gaining a 7/10 and a goal will have done great for Kryzanowskis confidence and will cement his place in the side.

Mk Dons 3 – 0 Rochdale

25/08/07 English League – Coca Cola League 1

Northampton Vs Tranmere (Eagles)

Eagles started this match as Northampton started brightly, passing well Northampton took the lead after 4 minutes, they were pegged back at the 30 minute mark to make it 1-1 at half time. Eagles continued to play well and was the best passer of the ball on the pitch, passing the ball 45 times, and succeeding with well over half of those passes, and he started the move which finished with the second and decisive goal of the game for Northampton and the second for Goodhall. 7/10 for Eagles.

Northampton 2 – 1 Tranmere

Doncaster Vs Leyton Orient (Kenobi)

Kenobi started this match and looked to continue on his rich form which had impressed the home fans in the previous match. However this match he was far from his best as he and keeper Stuart Nelson had shocking matches, both gaining a rating of 5/10 and neither of them doing anything of note.

Doncaster 3 – 2 Leyton Orient

Bristol Rovers VS Luton (Gault)

Gault was once again an unused substitute and watched Phillips play poorly a 6/10 and concede 2 goals in his sides draw, surely he will get a chance soon?

Bristol Rovers 2-2 Luton

26/08/07 Spanish League – Spanish Second Division B2

Conquense Vs Cultural Leonesa (Championo)

Championo captained his first Spainish League match and that was not the only note on his debut. He passed the ball well and although his team went 1-0 down they were 1-1 at the half time break.

It looked destined for a draw when Championo lead the team on, with a good move that he finished off with a left foot strike into the bottom corner.

A rating of 7/10 and a captains goal to win Conquense’s first league match.

Conquense 2 – 1 Cultural Leonesa

26/08/07 Italian League – Serie C1/A

Novara Vs Cremonese (Bonus)

After his poor performance against Novara in the Cup, Bonus was left on the subs bench, and had to watch the full 90 minutes from the bench as his team went on to win 3-1 and put them top of the league.

Novara 1 – 3 Cremonese

27/08/07 English League – Blue Square Premier

Droylsden Vs Oxford (Lowes)

After his last impressive match Lowes started against Oxford up top again, Droylsden were dominated from the 1st til last minute, but kept on for the vital 0-0 draw to place them 2nd in the league. Lowes did nothing of real note not getting any of his shots on target and not passing to his best ability, a 7/10 still a good rating but he could do better.

Droylsden 0 – 0 Oxford

Stevenage Vs Burton (Baker)

Baker will be starting to get accustomed to his MR role, and it showed on the 19 minute mark when he collected a throw in from Corbett and put the ball in the box with a superb cross which Clare took advantage of to stab home a goal.

Stevenage were stronger in the 2nd half and pulled a goal back 10 minutes after half time, and Burton could not find a way to answer.

baker was pulled off after 70 minutes despite playing a 7, his passing was not great with only 6 passes on target in 70 minutes, less than one good pass every 10 minutes.

Stevenage 1-1 Burton

29/08/07 Italian League - Serie C Cup Group D

Cremonese Vs Caravaggese (Bonus)

His poor performance against Novara in the last Cup match must still be fresh in the managers mind as Bonus was left on the subs bench, and had to watch the full 90 minutes from the bench as his team went on to win 3-0.

Cremonese 3 – 0 Caravaggese

29/08/07 Spainish League – Spanish Cup First Round

Jaen Vs Conquense (Championo)

Championo had to captain his side in a match which the team were heavily unfavoured. The gulf in class was evident with Jaen having 67% possession and making good use of it to score before half time. After half time it was the same story, as Jaen scored again and it looked all over. Championo did give his side a brief glimmer of home scoring 11 minutes before time, but they couldn’t find another goal. A brave effort and good performance by the captain (7) but his side are out of the cup.

Jaen 2 – 1 Conquense

Speaking in a post match interview Championo stated “Its good to have the experience of facing bigger clubs, and now we are out we will concentrate on winning the league for our fans”

29/08/07 English League – League Cup 2nd Round

Blackpool Vs Wigan (Pearce)

Pearce started on the bench for Blackpool in this big test for the club. His side were 2-0 down within 20 minutes and didn’t impress, at half time the managers words must have hit home as 15 minutes after the whistle Blackpool and Stephen Mcphee got a goal.

With 5 minutes left to play and his side 2-1 down Pearce got to come on as a sub in his first competitive match, he quickly missed a pass, but then intercepted the next ball and had a shot on target but it was easily saved. He then proceeded to run the line, very badly as he was caught offside twice in 2 minutes. 5/10 a bit harsh for 5 minutes work.

Blackpool 1 – 2 Wigan

Q.P.R Vs Northampton (Eagles)

Eagles was once again the best passer on his team come the end of the match. However during the match neither him or his team looked to be at their best, losing 2-1 to QPR in a match which could have gone either way, he came off after 78 minutes with a 6/10, and nothing to speak of except his passing.

Q.P.R 2 – 1 Northampton

Other News

The Sulk was injured once again, and saw his side beat Wrexham away 2-1 to progress to the 3rd round of the League Cup.

Michael Lowes performances have caught the eye of Grimsby scouts who are having a firm look at him, though with the transfer window now over he will have to wait til January for any move.

Glenn Crane & Josh Pearce could be switching league, with Crane wanted by Pearces side Blackpool as well as Cheltenham of League 1, and Pearce wanted by Walsall of League 1 and as struggling Chester where he could meet up with Tomaldinho.

Gaults Bristol rovers hell could end as soon as Dagenham or Peterborough put in an offer, with both clubs interested but missing the 31st August Deadline.

Conquense Captain Championo is still attracting attention from Las Palmas and Castellion and it is reported that although he loves amateur side Conquense, he could well be looking to further his career and is flattered by the interest being shown.

Well it looks like it's sort of paying off for me(Michael Lowes) to be at the lower level club. Getting some good expeience and some nice performances in. The trick now is to get a move higher up quite soon so my development doesn't suffer from lack of training/faclities but not go too high so i can get a decent amount of games in still.

KUTGW anyway!

Ha, I forgot about that. Oh well, stuck on a team mate's couch a bit longer then.

I think the second way of updates looks best, but go with what you find easiest to write. Trying to write updates in a style I haven't really liked is what's killed trying to stories for me before, so that's one of the most important things to get right.

September Update

Charles Beams (Darlington)

Matches

01/09/07 Bury Vs Darlington

04/09/07Leeds Vs Darlington (Johnstone’s Paint Trophy N 1st Round)

08/09/07Darlington Vs Wycombe

15/09/07Rochdale Vs Darlington

22/09/07Darlington Vs Chester

29/09/07 Notts Co VS Darlington

Match Reports

01/09/07 Bury 1 - 2 Darlington

Beams started the match but did not play very well, he saw his friend Varmenov take the applause as he scored and got Man of the match to see his side win 2-1 against a Bury side with some quality in their team. Beams played a 6 and his passing was pretty poor.

04/09/07Leeds 2 - 1 Darlington (Johnstone’s Paint Trophy N 1st Round)

Another start for Beams and ultimately another poor pefromance, although he will be comforted by the fact that this time he wasn’t the only poor performer in the squad, his passing was once again woeful and something he will have to improve upon. 6/10

08/09/07Darlington 2 - 3 Wycombe

Once again a start for Beams, a sign that his manager must have faith in him, and this time his better performance will have put a smile on his managers face, passing less often but a lot more accurately and getting an assist on the way to another defeat for Darlo. 7/10 for Beam and a much better performance.

15/09/07Rochdale 0 - 1 Darlington

Passing was a big improvement in Beams performance today, passing often and accurately it has clearly shown that he has been training hard. Another 7/10 for Beams and it looks like the youngster is starting to get into his football more.

22/09/07Darlington 3 - 1 Chester

Improvement is the key word here and that’s what we see in this match from Charles Beams, he passes the ball superbly, and gets taken down in the box to give his side a penalty which they score from, this combined with his 8/10 shows a lot of improvement.

29/09/07 Notts Co 0 - 4 Darlington

74 minutes was all that was needed for Beams to continue his rich vein of form and cement his place in the first team. Another good showing of his quality, 8/10 and another good performance by Charles Beams.

29/09/07 Notts Co VS Darlington

Match Reports

01/09/07 Bury 1 - 2 Darlington

Varmenov took the applause in this match as he scored the winner, passed well and got 3 good shots on target during this match, a rating of 8/10 and a man of the match award will please the youngster and the traveling fans.

04/09/07Leeds 2 - 1 Darlington (Johnstone’s Paint Trophy N 1st Round)

Another start for Varmenov but a completely different finish, he performed poorly and didn’t really get going, although he will be comforted by the fact that this time he wasn’t the only poor performer in the squad. 6/10

08/09/07Darlington 2 - 3 Wycombe

Varmenovs poor performance last match was obviously in his managers mind as he started on the match, he came on with 20 minutes left to prove himself and he did quite well having two shots on target and achieving a 7/10.

15/09/07Rochdale 0 - 1 Darlington

Varmenovs sub performance was enough to earn him a start, but he didn’t make full use of his opportunity. He didn’t really get in the game, but when he did he did show a few touches of class. 6/10 won’t impress his manager though.

22/09/07Darlington 3 - 1 Chester

Varmenov kept his starting place and shone in this match, he passed the ball well, though could have got into the game more, he made a few key passes and few mistakes and ended up with a much improved 8/10.

29/09/07 Notts Co 0- 4 Darlington

Varmenov was heavily involved in three of the four goals, only getting one assist however, he put in a superb corner for the second goal and the ball was headed down and then struck in. His assist came next as he put in a free kick to land square on Ian Miller, he then took the throw in which lead to the fourth and final goal.

08/09/07Accrington Vs Chester

15/09/07Chester Vs Lincoln

22/09/07Darlington Vs Chester

Match Reports

01/09/07Chester 1 - 2 Mk Dons

Tomaldinho started the match and within 17 minutes his Chester side were 2-0 down and not looking like a good bet for a comeback. Tomaldinho the number 8 for Chester did pass the ball quite well but only 50% were on target, he got one shot in, but it didn’t trouble the keeper. Playing a 6/10 which will question his starting position.

08/09/07Accrington 0 – 3 Chester

Tomaldinho started again, up front with his mentor Lowndes and the apprentice certainly overshadowed his mentor, with a performance that will definitely show the quality this youngster is capable of. He scored his first goal just before half time, when a defence splitting pass saw him one on one with the keeper, and he coolly slotted it home.

His second and the clubs third goal was the pick of the bunch, the ball was played past him, and the defender looked favourite to get there put he used his pace to beat the defender to the ball and chip it over the helpless keeper. A 9/10 and a Man of the Match for the youngster who was taken off seconds before the full time whistle.

15/09/07Chester 3 - 2 Lincoln

In a strange move the Chester manager put star performer Tomaldinho on the right of a three man midfield, this did stunt his performance, but overall he will be glad to see that his team have won another game. His own performance was rather average with an average amount of passes and a 7/10 for his record.

22/09/07Darlington 3 - 1Chester

Tomaldinho started again on the right of a three man midfield, the performance he gave was similar to the previous match against Lincoln, and unfortunately no one else stepped up for Chester’s team. This will give Tomaldinho cause to show his manager that he is best suited to a striking role. 7/10 again for Tomaldinho.

29/09/07Chester 2 - 3 Rotherham

Tomaldinho had the right centre midfield role again and didn’t seem too happy which showed in his performance, his worst for some time, passing well when he gets the chance but not often enough to cause any damage to the Rotherham Defence. 6/10.

22/09/07 Dag & Red Vs Bury

29/09/07 Bury Vs Morecambe

Match Reports

01/09/07 Bury 1 - 2 Darlington

Harry Barker started this game on the bench, he came on for the last 3 minutes of the match but did not make much of an impact, having one shot on target. 6/10

Lazewski Started this match up front and played well throughout, starting the match with a bang as he scores within the first 5 minutes to put is team 1 ahead. Unfortunately within the next 15 minutes he sees his defence concede twice, and for the rest of the match he doesn’t have another clear cut opportunity. 7/10 but the goal will give him confidence.

04/09/07Stockport 2 – 2 Bury (Johnstone’s Paint Trophy N 1st Round)

Barker started this match up top with the scorer in Burys previous game Lazewski, both men got off to a good start, playing 7’s and suddenly Lazewski got a yellow card which infuriated his manager who took him off after 6 minutes.

Buchanan scored on 28 minutes making it 1-0 to Bury at half time.

Stockport came out as the better team scoring on 48 minutes, before Harry Barker stepped up to the plate and had a shot deflected which looped over the keeper, just before the end of the match Samba scored his second goal from the penalty spot. The game then went to Penalties and Bury lost 4-2. Both Barker and Lazewski got 7’s.

08/09/07Rotherham 0 - 0 Bury

Despite the managers strange decision last match both Barker and Lazewski started up front, however the match was a pretty boring match until half time, when Barker was taken off playing a 6/10

Lazewski was explosive having shots from all across the pitch, shooting 6 times with only 2 on target. He was taken off at 73 minutes and was only a 6/10.

15/09/07 Bury 1 - 0 Brentford

Barker started this match, in which was billed to be a close call. Bishop Barkers strike partner scored after 27 minutes, and the rest of the match was pretty boring as Bury shut up shop, Barker had a few shots but none even came close to the target.

22/09/07 Dag & Red 1 - 3 Bury

Barker and Bishop started the match together once again leaving Lazewski on the bench.

Bishop gave the ball away outside the opponents box, and Dagenham struck quickly on the counterattack and made Bury pay, scoring after 4 minutes.

A good bit of passing by Bury set Barker loose who struck the ball into the top of the net, 7 passes were made during that play, and very attractive football continued throughout the match, a few changes were made in the second half including Lazewski coming on for the last 20 minutes. He came on and within 10 minutes set up Barker with a nice cross, and Barker headed it in.

Provett kicked a long ball upfield and Lazewski missed out on the header, but Buchanan picked the ball up in midfield and put a great ball through for Lazewski who struck it in the top corner, kissing the clubs badge and showing that he should be playing. 9/10 for Barker and 2 goals, and 8/10 for Lazewski who got a goal and an assist in 18 minutes.

29/09/07 Bury 3 - 1 Morecambe

Lazewski got his reward when he started the match alongside Barker who kept his place. Adams scored a penalty within 4 minutes as he got taken down in the box. Another 15 minutes passed and then Lazewski latched onto a long ball went around the keeper and put it into the bottom corner.

Barker was playing well throughout the match and carved out a chance and put a low ball into the box, Lazewski picked it up jinked past a defender and scored his second.

Morecambe got a consolation goal as Bury got a red card for a foul in the box. Morecambe scored the penalty on the 90th minute and the whistle was blown.

Barker achieving an 8/10 with an assist.

Lazewskit got 9/10 Man of the match with his two good goals.

Both Barker and Lazewski got 7’s as Lazewski saw his side go out on penalties.

08/09/07Rotherham 0 - 0 Bury

Lazewski was explosive having shots from all across the pitch and showing that his manager should have faith in him however with 6 shots and only 2 on target it wasn’t the best performance. He was taken off at 73 minutes and only got a 6/10.

15/09/07 Bury 1 - 0 Brentford

Lazewski started this game on the bench had to watch the whole 90 minutes from his position next to the manager.

Lazewski got 9/10 Man of the match with his two good goals.

01/09/07Grimsby 3 - 1 Rotherham

Crane played well throughout this match passing the ball well and having a few good shots and ran at the defenders, having 7 runs of note.Crane had one key pass but it wasn’t enough to stop his side losing heavily 3-1 in what was billed as a close match. 7/10 for Crane.

04/09/07Bradford 1 - 2 Rotherham (Johnstone’s Paint Trophy N 1st Round)

Crane started this match again in this all League 2 clash, with two of the favourites for promotion. Crane played well and even though his team went down before half time he came back after half time with some key passes and good runs. O’Grady scored a goal to bring the teams level and then 15 minutes later on 76 minutes Crane struck a low shot past the keeper which saw his side win 2-1. 7/10 for Crane another solid performance.

08/09/07Rotherham 0 - 0 Bury

Crane was consistent again in this match and he continually passed well and his performance was as consistent as ever. Having one shot of note he played another 7/10 in this largely unentertaining match.

15/09/07 Wycombe 0 - 0 Rotherham

Crane started again in this match and 6 minutes in and Rotherhams game plan was undone as Pablo Mills got a rather harsh red card, meaning Rotherham had ten men and had to defend. Cranes defensive work was good and he made 7 interceptions to make sure the match drew 0-0.

22/09/07Rotherham 3 - 0 Rochdale

Crane played on the Midfield right position again, a role he has made his own, he has consitently played well and this match was no different being the best dribbler on the team he constantly ran at the defence. Crane hit three shots though only 1 was on target. His team won 3-0 and Crane got a 7/10 again.

29/09/07Chester 2 – 3 Rotherham

Chester quickly took the lead from a corner which actually sprung Rotherham and Crane into action. Crane played some great football with two quick assists setting up Derek Holmes both times. Chester pulled one back to make it level, but just before the half time Derek Holmes got his second penalty, the first he missed, but this one was put away. 8/10 for Crane and a very good performance to finish the month.

29/09/07Shrewsbury Vs Mk Dons

Match Reports

01/09/07Chester 1 - 2 Mk Dons

Kyzanowski played well in this match passing very well indeed, very rarely losing the ball or missing a pass, his passing was instrumental as he set up the first goal after 12 minutes, his team were 2 up before the 20 minute mark, and held on to win 2-1 after the second half went more in Chesters plans. A 7/10 and an assist for the youngster.

04/09/07 Brentford 1 - 0 Mk Dons(Johnstone’s Paint Trophy S 1st Round)

Mk Dons started by stringing a lot of good passes together and going on the offensive against Brentford. However Brentford were soon in the lead after 23 minutes, and although Mk Dons pushed on and Kryzanowski tried to string the passes together it just wasn’t his or the dons day as they didn’t seem to get going. A 5/10 rating will disappoint the youngster.

12/09/07 Mk Dons 1 - 1 Notts Co

Kyzanowski was away for Poland U21 International Duty.

Poland U21’s Kryzanowski

07/09/07Poland U21’s 3 - 1 Slovenia U21’s

Kyzanowski wasn’t named in the team for this match.

11/09/07Spain U21’s 2 – 0 Poland U21’s

Kryzanowski started this match and was one of the better players for the Polish side, passing well and having a good solid shot on target. However Spain were favourites and their quality shone as they ran away with the match winning 2-0 and looking comfortable. A 6/10 for Kryzanowski on his second Cap (Duno where the first one came from, they had a match on 01/06/07 but so may have had it then)

15/09/07Bradford 2 - 1 Mk Dons

Kyzanowski returned and went straight to the first team line up, he looked tired and was sloppy he made five fouls and one of his passes was key. He got a yellow and was taken off after half time as his side were 2-0 down. His team did score a consolation but Kryzanowski won’t be pleased with his rating of 6/10 and his tired performance.

22/09/07 Mk Dons 1 -2 Barnet

Kryzanowski started on the left wing despite his poor performance in the last match. His first half performance was once again poor and barnet were 2-0 up at half time.

Unfortunatly Kryzanowski didn’t play better after half time, and ended up with another 6/10.

29/09/07Shrewsbury Vs Mk Dons

Once again a start for poor performing Kryzanowski who will be pleased with his managers dedication. He passed well although he didn’t assist any of the two goals his team scored in the first half but at the same time wasn’t at fault for Shrewsbury’s goal.

2-1 at half time, and the second half was a non event with Kryzanowski passing well again and finishing with a 7/10.

Ryan Gault was an unused substitute and watched as Steve Phillips conceded 3 and his lost 3 – 2.

04/09/07Bristol Rovers 1 - 3 Hereford(Johnstone’s Paint Trophy S 1st Round)

Gault got his start in this match and played well, he saved 2 matches whilst conceding a good goal, his distribution was not so good, but he played a 7/10 and did better than rival Steve Phillips.

12/09/07Bristol Rovers 3 - 3 Crewe

Steve Phillips was in goal again and yet again played a 6 and conceded 3 goals. Gault will not be happy that he was dropped after his performance in the previous match.

15/09/07Hartlepool Vs Bristol Rovers

Phillips was chosen again as number 1 keeper but this time it may well have been a forced choice as Gault was away on International Duty. Phillips conceded 3 again and yet again played a 6/10.

Australia U23’s Ryan Gault

12/09/07 – 19/09/07 Gault was an unused sub for both of the matches against Palestine.

22/09/07Bristol Rovers 3 - 2 Carlisle

Phillips poor performances obviously persuaded manager Paul Trollope to put Gault in goal, and the gamble paid off, with a win for Bristol and another good performance from Gault, conceding 2 goals but making sure his distribution was a lot better playing a 7 overall.

29/09/07 Tranmere 3 - 0 Bristol Rovers

Gault started the match again but this time his performance was not as good. He conceded 3 goals out of 5 shots on target, and his distribution was not as good as last match. He played a 6/10 and the question remains whether he will be number 1 keeper for long.

Match Reports

01/09/07 Leyton Orient 3 – 2 Millwall

Kenobi started the match for Orient but his performance won’t have made a good impression on his manager as he didn’t pass to the best of his ability he didn’t have any shots but was caught offside 5 times. He finished with a rating of 5/10.

04/09/07 Southend 1 - 0 Leyton Orient (Johnstone’s Paint Trophy S 1st Round)

Kenobi started the match despite his recent poor performance but he did pass a bit better and got a good shot on target. Once again he was caught offside 5 times but did make 4 good penetrating runs. However it was not enough as his side went down 1-0 and he only achieved a 6/10. His passing must improve if he is to continue in the first team.

08/09/07 Nottm Forrest 2 - 1 Leyton Orient

Kenobi kept his starting spot and started off the game well stringing some good passes together. He made sure he didn’t stray offside but this also affected the amount of time he had on the ball, he didn’t really get into the game as his team lost again, Kenobi getting a rating of 6/10 and being pulled off after 66 Minutes.

15/09/07 Leyton Orient 2 - 1 Huddlesfield

Leyton Orient looked a lot better. Kenobi Didn’t he only passed the ball 9 times completing 4 of those, he was lacking in almost every area, and ended up as the worst performer on his team with another 6/10.

22/09/07 Leyton Orient 2 - 1 Southend

Manager Martin Ling gambled on playing Kenobi again and this time the gamble paid off, Kenobi passed well and made a good run and had a shot just off target. He played a 7/10 and this shows the quality the young lad can produce.

29/09/07Luton 0 – 0 Leyton Orient

Kenobi looked to build on his performance from last weeks match, however he couldn’t as his team and himself put in an average to boring performance. With Orient being on the defence throughout the match and not testing the opposition keeper Kenobi didn’t have many chances to attack. He got a 6/10.

Match Reports

01/09/07Oldham 0 - 0 Northampton

Youngster Eagles started the match and passed the ball well in what was a pretty dull game, neither side looked like they wanted to win and were happy with a goalless draw. Eagles made a couple of good runs but they didn’t come to much. 6/10 for Eagles which was average for the Northampton Team.

04/09/07Northampton 2 – 3 Swindon (Johnstone’s Paint Trophy S 1st Round)

Youngster Eagles started the match again and passed the ball to a good standard however the rest of his game was sub standard, his attacking play was poor whilst his defensive display was a bit better than average. 6/10 again for Kenobi in a personally unexciting match.

08/09/07Northampton 2 - 1 Brighton

Eagles started again and passed well and made a good run and had a shot just off target. He played a 7/10 and this shows the quality the young lad can produce, he will just have to make sure he keeps up these good performances.

15/09/07Bournemouth 1 - 0 Northampton

Eagles didn’t take up his usual midfield role but played in the right wingback role. This produced his worse passing performance so far only succeeding in 4 passes 25% of the attempted passes. He achieved a 6/10 and won’t be happy with the change of position.

22/09/07Northampton 1 - 0 Yeovil

Eagles was back to his usual midfield position and this raised his performance and he was the best passer of the ball by far with over 90% accuracy, and a very good run to worry the Yeovil defence. Another 7/10 will give the youngster confidence in the left hand slot of the three man midfield.

29/09/07Walsall 2 - 1 Northampton

Eagles once again had the left hand side of a three man midfield with wing backs either side. Walsall went 1-0 up just before half time. In the second half eagles got his first goal for the club, the Left Wing Back Jackman put a ball in for eagles to slot home from 6 yards to get his first goal for the club, and a 7/10 as his side lose 2-1 to an 87th minute goal.

Match Reports

01/09/07Crawley 3 – 1 Droylsden

Lowes started in a Midfield Right role and played well passing the ball across the pitch to a good standard and but not doing anything spectacular, a solid game but not one that will live long in the memory. The 3 – 1 loss will have upset the fans. 7/10 for Crane.

04/09/07 Droylsden 3 – 1 Ebbsfleet

Lowes stated again on the right flank, and this time his performance was more than solid it was spectacular, seeing his team go 1-0 up after 2 minutes inspired Lowes to his best performance, he scored just before half time with a header at the back post.

Lowes went up front for the second half and Ebbsfleet got a penalty, a minute later from the kick off Lowes exchanged passes and went on to score past the hapless keeper.

A 9/10 for Lowes and 2 decent goals.

08/09/07Burton 4 - 1 Droylsden

Lowes once again started on the right wing, however Burton dominated scoring 2 before the half and one soon after, Droylsden got one back but never looked like winning as they crashed to a 4 – 1 defeat. Lowes passed well but never really got going. 6/10 for the lad.

15/09/07 Droylsden 0 – 3 Histon

Lowes once again started on the right wing, however Histon dominated scoring a goal just before half time and then dominating the second half to finish the game 3 – 0.

Lowes passed well again and had 2 shots on target but still got a 6/10.

18/09/07 Altrincham 2 - 0 Droylsden

Another start for Lowes and another poor performance from the youngster, a 6/10 again with nothing of note showing for the lad in a drab performance for Droylsden which sees them lose their third game in a row.

22/09/07 Droylsden 1 - 1 Aldershot

Droylsden dominated the match with 15 shots, but only 4 were on target one of them was Man Of the Match performer Michael Lowes. Who scored a cracking shot, only to be let down by the fact that his Goalkeeper let in Aldershots only shot on target. 8/10 and MOM for Droylsden.

25/09/07 Grays 4 - 6 Droylsden

Lowes got 2 goals before half time, which saw his side go into half time 3 – 2 up. He completed his hat trick ten minutes before time, which saw his side finish up 6 – 4 winners. The 9/10 and MOM performance is one that will last long in his memory.

29/09/07 Droylsden 3 - 3 Exeter

Lowes looked to build on his recent performances and scored 2 before half time, which saw his side go in 2-1. Lowes once again finished with a 9/10 and picked up the Man of the Match performance.

Match Reports

01/09/07Burton 2 - 0 Northwich

Baker started the match in the midfield right position, which he seems to have got accustomed to. He made some good runs to trouble the opposition and had 3 shots which all sailed off target. A good game for Baker and one of his runs saw him get taken out just inside the box, his teammate Webster put away the penalty. 8/10 for Baker.

04/09/07Weymouth 1 - 0 Burton

Another right midfield start for Baker, but this time his performance was not up to the standard we have come to expect from the youngster, he never got going in a match which wasn’t too exciting for the fans, but did see Weymouth scrape a 1-0 win with their only shot on target. 6/10 for Baker as he gets subbed on the 80 minute mark.

08/09/07Burton 4 - 1 Droylsden

This time Baker got his wish and started on the left hand side of a front two, and the new formation got off to a good start when Baker teamed up well with Clare who set off Holmes to score, baker also had parts to play in 2 of the other Burton Goals which saw them dominate Droylsden and win 4 – 1. Baker got a 8/10 and an assist.

15/09/07 Kidderminister 0 - 0 Burton

Baker once again got put on the right midfield role and once again wasn’t able to show the true quality he has. He passed well and managed to make a few good runs and had a shot skim just wide of the post. A 7/10 in a pretty dull game.

18/09/07Burton 3 - 1 York

Baker started on the right of midfield again, and the match started well, Gilroy put a penalty away after ten minutes, then a good bit of interplay saw baker whip in a cross for Gilroy to put in. 2-0 at half time, and then York made the Burton fans sweat as they scored. Baker then got his second assist as he took a quick freekick for Stride to strike into the top corner. 8/10 and two assists for Baker.

22/09/07Cambridge 1 - 1 Burton

Another right midfield start and another early goal, unfortunately for Burton it was Cambridge who went ahead as Tony James tried to deal with a cross but ended up scoring an OG. It looked like 1 – 0 at half time but Clare was taken out 30 yards from the Cambridge goal. Baker stepped up and struck the ball, and it flew straight into the top corner, a Great goal, and one which ended the entertainment in the game. 1-1 draw and another 8/10 for Baker who got taken off on the 72nd minute.

25/09/07Burton 0 - 1 Forrest Green

Baker the regular right midfield game had his worst game for a long time in front of the home fans, not getting into the match and not even passing double figures. He had a few off target shots, but didn’t get into the game as his side lost and he got a 6/10.

29/09/07Stafford 1 - 1 Burton

Another start for Baker, in a very boring first half, few shots were made and Bakers passing never got off the mark. Then Holmes on the 51 minute mark made an atrocious 2 footed tackle which saw him get a straight red. Baker was taken off to incorporate a more defensive minded midfielder, and the game ended with two late goals, one for each of the clubs. Baker another 6/10 will not be pleased.

16/09/07 CD Logrones 2 - 2 Conquenese

Championo was back and captained his side once again, his passing was lackluster and he didn’t get into the game match, the one bit of quality he produced was a shot that was saved well by the Logrones Keeper. 7/10 for Championo.

19/09/07 Conquenese 0 - 4 Bilbao Ath

Championo got a slight knock early on in this match but he still Captained his side well trying to spur them on against a good Bilbao team. His passing again was not great and his side did not get going, Championo ended up with a 6/10 in a disappointing day.

23/09/07 Guijuelo 2 - 2 Conquenese

Another poor performance by Championo will be starting to gain him some unwanted critics. A 6/10 and he didn’t seem up for the game, passing poor, shooting largely off target and his captaincy skills will be brought into question as this was a vital match between two clubs who are predicted to struggle.

30/09/07 Conquenese 1 - 2 Sestao

A poor first half performance from Conquenese and the Captain Championo as Sestao dominate, they were 2 – 0 at half time, and the manager must not have been happy, Conquenese played better after the half but only managed one consolation goal.

6/10 again for Championo who is on a poor run of form.

Wow great updates, stunning effort!!

Good to see Tomaldinho getting a few goals, hopefully these might be the difference between relegation and staying up. 6 points from 8 games is poor form though. Strange that he's playing right midfield though, maybe it'll be a useful learning experience. To be honest whatever the position, the first team experience is vital so as long as he's on the pitch things will be moving along nicely.

KUTGW mate :D
