ruudvanwarren Posted April 11, 2012 Share Posted April 11, 2012 I decided to give the "BEAST" a whirl and tested it with AC Milan for a season. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised! Like many FMer's this year I have struggled for some real consistency with my performances but this tactic seemed to do the trick. The midfield is the absolute key to this tactic...You need a strong DMC, I play Sando and 2x all round MC's. Zaltan up front was a "BEAST" for me scoring 29 in 20 app's with an average rating of 8.05! I would recommend that the AML/R positions are used with inside forward type players. I used Welbeck (Loaned), Sturridge (Loaned), Pato and Robinho! I would definately recommend this tactic...It's not even lost it's power in the second season too...Well done Chronic Haze1!!! Into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after beating Swansea with Woking (Blue Square Premier) now, a 21 point lead at the top of the table with 3 games in hand, and in the semi-finals of the FA Trophy. All while playing great football, we even out-passed Swansea. This is my 3rd season at Woking and I've managed to bring in some good youth and experienced players but we still have a low budget and were only projected to finish 7th. But I was not pleased that I had 1 striker, so I adjusted the tactic and now on a fantastic start too. I started using the tactic against Everton Thanks. ^^ Edit: Right click on image, obviously. Sulla Posted April 28, 2012 Share Posted April 28, 2012 I dont post on here very much but I have been playing the series since 1995 and this is pretty much the only game I buy now. I really like this tactic, it produces some really nice fluent football and with the right strikers you can be lethal. I am playing as Sheff Wed, after 4 seasons in the Prem when I have been skirting around the UEFA cup places and using the money to invest in quality youth players. This season I threw caution to the wind, gave youth a chance and started to use this tactic. First game resulted in a 5-0 thrashing of arsenal who are very good on this game. This form continued for most of the season and I won the league by 15 points from Man U. I was lucky enough to pick up Yaya Sanogo a couple of years ago and he is a beast as the lone striker up front due to his physical stats. He scored 41 goals in the league during which he spent 3 months out with a hamstring injury! Connor Wickham is my other striker and he also ended the year on 40 plus goals. Connor is also the main striker using this tactic for my England Squad and he has had a fantastic year, he is now 24 in the game and has 31 international appearances, 29 goals. I'm playing a career save, so Mr Hough tactics made me take a small team to be champion on Liga Sagres. After that I took charge of Metalist, and used this since.
