lol the title is lame i know ! :)

but anyway

im ac milan heading into my 2nd season...

i got a whoppin 108 million in transfer money to spend

anyway ive just paid out lionel messi's release clause of 46.5 million (will be the most ive spent on a player if it goes through)

anyway i offered him a hefty contract which was:

Status: Key Player

Wage: 110k per week

Length: June 2014 (im in july 2009)

Signing on fee: 5 million

Appearence fee: 15.5k

goal bonus 7.75k

NOW i wasnt expecting messi to sign because it said he had no intentions he rejected the contract but he's client wanted to continue negotiations! thats a big step forward

it now says he might "tempted" if the contract offer is to good to refuse.

my question is in 2 parts

1 is 46.25 million dollars to much?

2 how much should i offer to tempt him?!

edit: im 412k under my overall wage budget and in desperate need of a MR and ML so he fits the bill pefectly

you reckon?

but messi is just this untouchable player and ive always wanted him in every fm and never been able to get him :(

I really want messi !!

Then get him. Offer whatever it takes for salary if he's a player you absolutely want. Sure, you could probably do better buying 3-4 players for the same amount and half the salary, but if you want Messi then go for it.
