robda1st Posted November 17, 2015 Share Posted November 17, 2015 I want to play a game having every league. playable is to much of a drain so I would like to know if I have every league(bar the active one) as view only will if seriously affect my CPU performance after a few year? johnhughthom Posted November 17, 2015 Share Posted November 17, 2015 In my experience, putting a load of leagues on View Only has a negligible impact on performance, compared to not having them at all. Roy Race 9 Posted November 17, 2015 Share Posted November 17, 2015 when you load that what player count are you getting(it will depend on small/large DB) I am using advanced with high number of players 250k no real probs but does slow down when a LOAD of player's contracts expire 31/12 etc you should be fine if you have a good laptop Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

From my understanding, "View-Only" doesn't actually load many extra players (if any) from that league/nation so it won't slow the game down much. Hansaplast Posted November 18, 2015 Share Posted November 18, 2015 I think "view only" has almost no impact on the cpu performance but it also offers almost no advantage, except that you can see the league table The results are calculated on reputation only and regens are generated as if the league wasn't loaded at all. kroshot Posted November 22, 2015 Share Posted November 22, 2015 I`m think of starting a long term save with my club Birmingham with the just the English leagues as playable(as I don't want to manage anyone else)with the rest of the European leagues top division on view only with a database of around 65k do you think it will move along well.my specs are intel core i5 2.60gh and 8gb of ram.
