VonBlade
Depends entirely upon what you've already got. Although if you want to upgrade, a laptop isn't the easiest place to start.
Mezz Boms
laptops often have integrated / on-board graphics cards which means you cant change them so its hard to upgrade a laptop for gaming unfortunatly

RobBrad
Well, your processor and RAM aren't great. Thats as far as my expertise goes.
trekman
You should also download the latest direct x. I think you will struggle to play FM2009 though.

AcidSparxx
hi, mate has a Toshiba Runs @1.8ghz 2Gig Ram ddr 512mb graphics Runs perfectly. He paid £340 for it. But i have seen some refurbished ones floating around ebay you can get for £50 - £100 quid if you dont mind a used one. I bought one and its been fine for over 5 months now. and FM runs brilliant. I have a: Sony Vaio VGN-A317S Specs: Intel Centrino 1.86 Ghz 17" WideScreen TFT 2 Gb Ram 160 Gb DVD R/RW Dual Layer Drive Mobility Radeon X600 - 128 Mb(which is all you need to run the 3d matches)
Danny!!
I've pretty much got the same system specs as yourself. Except for 16mb more of RAM. With that graphics card, very very difficult if not impossible to upgrade. And being only a 64mb shared memory card, it has no chance to play 3D at all. The processor can do the same work as the Pentium 4 2.4 GHz, so it isn't bad. But there's no point in adding more RAM to the system if you can't play 3D, which is what you want? Maybe it would be best to think about getting a new computer. I'm happy with just 2D so my similar specs are allright in my situation.
