stevie_G_32201
yes. both cards arent good enough to run the 3d. 512MB graphics card is minimum for the 3D to take effect.
Galactus
Big problem though, because my graphics memory is dynamic. So it uses as much memory as is requested, so it starts at 256mb and maxes at 1 gig. And I can't manually change it, damn chipset.

Galactus
512MB is minimum so 256 isnt good enough to run 3D Yeh I know this, what I'm saying is that most Gcards have a set amount of memory. Mine does not, it has a limit and start point, limit being 1 gig and start point being 256. So what it does is it allocates memory depending on what the program requests. So basically FM09 has not taken chipset memory allocation into consideration

rocky0
Just thought I would post this. I am running a ATI X1050 video card and I have 256 MB of video memory. I am able to run the 3D game views. Granted it is a little jerky in some points but still I am able to run it. I cannot say anything about a laptop video card but if you run on a desktop, there is some hope that you can run it with 256 of memory. I am on a Pentium 4 2.0 system with 1 gig of ram. So it wont only be your video memory that will effect if you can run it or not. There are options to look at if you cant run the 3D game mode Hope you can find a way to run the 3D mode
