Rakennusmestari
I created my own gk training schedules, but now all of them (senior & youth) are complaining that they should be working more on ball control. Do they really need it?
Cleon
All it does for keepers is first touch.

pigfacemonkeyman
Thanks! Not that critical then. If you don't mind your keeper failing to control backpasses and presenting a simple goalscoring opportunities to the opposition.
Porthos
If you don't mind your keeper failing to control backpasses and presenting a simple goalscoring opportunities to the opposition. Just change tactics so players arent playing back to the keeper when they are that close. Push higher up or get rid of those short passes. Both should give the keeper more time with the ball. CityAndColour
Apparently they need to learn how to avoid using their weaker foot every two weeks.

Keepers seem to be perfectly comfortable with instantly kicking the ball back, even if they are supposed to be lying on the ground (I play 2D). aldojags
I always have a little bit in it, like my keeper to be comfortable on the ball.

It's always perfect, no matter the ball they receive.
