Sandbach Star
Everytime i appeal to get a ban over turned i always get the message. "They have ruled you did not have valid grounds" it makes me wonder if there is any point in this feature in the game
FrazT
It does happen in the game, but it is rare and you must choose your appeal carefully and not do it too often.
bolulu
Law of diminishing returns; never waste your time appealing anything other than the ocassional work permit refusal. It's not worth it.
Rikulec
Is that even possible?

It's not worth it.If you appeal a work permit with a top division club, there's a better chance of it being accepted. But i've never had a ban overturned by the FA. Things Could Get Messi
I had 1 overturned on FM11 so yes it can happen If your player gets a straight red card then check the referee report at the end of the game. If it says something on the lines of 'Referee X will have some explaining to after deciding to send off Player X' then you are likely to win your appeal. You can't appeal if a sending off was a 2nd bookable offence.

Webby123
Only happened once. Was with John Terry against man utd. Since he was england captain i reckon the Fa decided not to upset him
BarnsleyFan
Yes, had it happen a few times. Twice a season for red cards.
Smurf
Just have to read the Assistant Managers view on the incident, they'll usually give you a hint that there's no point in appealing, or if there is a case there will be a hint in the text. Alex W
In fairness, the amount of joke decisions that come from the FA regarding who should and shouldn't have cards overturned means that this is probably spot on, how often do you see a decision overturned correctly in real-life? Not that many.
