New Laptop

I've just bought a Sony Viao with 2gb of memory, does anyone think this is good enough to have a decent FM game as my last laptop was rubbish

I suppose it depends on what you consider decent really. Having 2Gb ram will help but a fast processor will also help. I would recommend 2.2Ghz as a minimum. With the amount of ram you have you should easily be able to run about 20 leagues possibly a few more on a medium database. Remember though that as the years go by then the game will slow down and unfortunately there is nothing you can really do about that.

20 leagues? lol, i would say 8 max, personally i would go for 3-5.

My 2GB dual 2 core lets me play 25 leagues and 5 extra countries' players with a large database. No probs.

Memory will be fine, whats the processor? Im guessing a Dual Core? If so, you will be fine.

It should be good enough. Do you know your hard drive speed? My current Toshiba is about 3 years old, P-M 1.6ghz 1gb Ram but I couldn't afford a new one so I changed my hard drive from 5400rpm to 7200 200GB. The difference was massive. Also installed a sweet tuned up XP that cuts out most of the crap and it's blazing.

I have got a Dell XPS210, with a DUAL CORE Processor of 2.GH, 320gb hard drive. I have selected 21 leagues from 10 countries and I am on 2011 within 1 days and 4 hours.
