MarshMellow
I'm Boavista and as part of my link with AC Milan I can send youngsters to train at AC, whilst they take a look at them of course. Given that they have first option on my players how do I take advantage of this benefit? I'm in both countries transfer windows but I still see no 'move to affiliate' option. Or have SI forgotten to implement it?
gregt or smokey
I've wondered this too, I think maybe only the parent team can choose but I dont know. Then again I dont remember seeing the option to take youngsters to train whilst i've been a team with a feeder club.
ArranoBeltza
As far as I know, the parent club can send players to you, not the other way around. The first option means that, if you accept a bid for a player, your parent club can also make a bid which is automatically accepted.

CaptainBanana
i've this problem since 1 or 2 years too. i often get a team with this affiliation, but it's impossible to send a player in the parent club for training. i'm sure the option isn't implemented. Coentrao
Never really noticed that part, unfortunately i don't think this is implemented in-game.

Administrators Neil Brock Posted November 14, 2011 Administrators Share Posted November 14, 2011 This works in a sense that youth players from that nation may come through at your club or vice-versa. There is no 'in-game' option to send players across, it's all done behind closed doors so to speak. Hope this clears it up a bit.
athos7
Does that mean Portuguese newgens appear at Milan, or Italian newgens appear at Boavista, or both?
Administrators Neil Brock Posted November 14, 2011 Administrators Share Posted November 14, 2011 Potentially it's more likely for Portuguese players to show up at Milan I believe, but as you are affiliated there is a chance you may get the odd Italian at Boavista. MarshMellow
Thanks for that
asdpoo
What you describe is definitely not "sending youth players to train at Milan to gain experience". If you are right, the description should be changed.
