moon_goat Posted September 29, 2011 Share Posted September 29, 2011 Yeah i do it in basically every team i manage, usually my goalkeeper is top scorer at least some point in the season, but i don't think i've ever had him stay there at the end. FM doesn't have many keepers that have good stats for free kicks/pens though, and i don't recall any newegen keeper coming through with high stats for them, especially free kick taking. I do it just because i enjoy having a goalscoring keeper, they always have my penalties regardless of stats lol Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Harper Posted October 2, 2011 Share Posted October 2, 2011 I had one weird season in FM 2009 where Lucas Fabianski would score off punts, goal kicks, and eventually free kicks after I put him on that duty. It started in the Club World Cup. He punted the ball and it would bounce just outside the 18 and over the opposition goalie. I believe he ended that season with 15 or so goals. Very odd.
