jcafcwbb
Barcelona after winning sixteen straight are losing 1-0 at Sporting Gijon having just one shot on target. How would you deal with it - rant, encourage, tell them to relax. Would you make substitutions? I believe the best way to learn this game is to study the great real life managers. So far Pep has brought on Pedro for Afallay. Not too sure if he had a rant. On a side note how would have dealt with best the West Ham manager 3-0 down at HT? her0n
Angry! In both cases. Plus one or two subs. Once as Lazio I was 1:4 down at half time against AC Milan, at home. I told them "We must get a result, no excuse!", made three substitutions at half time (a bit of a gamble) and the result was 5:4 at full time (And Barcelona equalize). stevie_G_32201
throw a hissy fit, quit without saving and go on holiday for a week. on a more serious note, tell them exactly what i think and threaten them with fines for poor performance if it does not improve. Kain
For Barcelona, "I want to see more from you". Seems to work far better than anything else when losing 1-0. Then change things on 60 minutes if they haven't improved.
neushoorn70
well barça finished 1-1, played much better in the 2nd half, ask pep i guess.
her0n
well barça finished 1-1, played much better in the 2nd half, ask pep i guess. But not good enough. They were firm favorites. I'd still go for angry at half time.
karax268
"I want to see more from you" as a general team talk and "disapointing" for individuals with a rating of 6.3 or less. "Have faith/can make difference" for any with 7.0 or above, but I geuss that doesn't apply here. "Sympatise" at full time
cuzn1984
I'm Barca on my save, and i'd probably go with - "encourage" and say to one or two " i have faith" or "you can make the difference" Seems to work with me, rare i'll make a sub to change the game other than freshening the team of wanting to make sure they don't score. ArranoBeltza
I would get over it because that loss probably won't mean anything in the long run, but would make some subs and change up my shouts to try for the win.
DDRickyDD@hotmail.com
I would sympathise and go all out attack. Getting angry doesn't work.
