Manager son ideas

Just had a thought.

Whilst I've never personally had a son in Football Manager, I think it would be a nice idea if you could actually state the name of a child or two when setting up a profile. For example, if you have a child called "Seth" you could set it so that when you eventually have a kid in FM (if you do), his first name is Seth and so on.

Yeah, me too. Because if it's not...then I'd be worried I'm on wrong forums and I'd join The Sims ones.

They had stuff like this on the Fifa Manager series iirc. You could even buy luxury items e.g. a yacht. It was quite fun

i like the idea of possiably naming your son...if you were lucky to have one in the game that is.. but what about the kids you don't know you have were back to square one

Actually... managing in the female leagues would be an interesting addition to the game.

Might even allow us to entice our girlfriends to actually care and play the game too.

I've always wondered whether the female league's would be added. Would be an interesting addition managing between the leagues.

I would love to know what having a son in the game would be like. If he would be decent etc..

Also, are all sons destined to have great PA's? or are some absolutely useless?

I would way rather have the game generate my son's name, this would definitly be more amusing then me coming up with the name.

If you are lucky enough to get a son, you can always nickname him to your preferred name.

I think we should have more control over merchandise e.g. set the prices of kits, tours of the stadium and how much food costs on match days.
