Parent club not accepting friendly.

I currently have Brazilian club Fluminense as a parent club. They send me young players and play me one friendly a season. It's been over 12 months now since we became their feeder club but they still won't accept any friendly proposals.

Anyone else had this??

Yep. When playing as MK Dons, I had Chelsea as a parent club, with an annual friendly being part of the arrangement. They never accepted the offer year after year though so it never happended.

Yes. As Abrantes, Portugal, we had a friendly to play with parent club Naval, but it clashed with their league cup game so it got cancelled. They wouldn't accept a single other friendly proposal after that.

As Chimney Corner, our game against Ballymena Utd was initially cancelled as it clashed with the Intermediate Cup but I reorganized another friendly and they accepted.

Try arranging a friendly with your parent clubs reserve side. This should satisfy the terms of your agreement I think.

It does, but so should a friendly with the first team. When playing as the parent club, it's impossible to reject a friendly proposal from your feeder if thats part of the deal, so why can the AI?

As a parent club i have various arrangements with feeder clubs to play friendlies. When I try to do so there is no option to arrange a friendly, and when I leave it to the assistant still nothing happens

As Northwich, with Man Utd as my parent side, they offered me a friendly, then cancelled the friendly next day and then it seemed as though they weren't under obligation to accept another one

Just try to arrange a friendly the normal way, there is no special option.

Can't - there is no 'arrange friendly' option.

You can't arrange friendlies from your fixture list?

with some of my feeder teams I go through that screen to their team screen and there is no option to 'arrange friendly'. IIRC it's no problem with one feeder, Genk, but others like Houston and my Japanese feeder are off limits.

You could try arranging tours of these countries.

In the terms it says that (club) are under no obligations to field a full side.

This means they dont have to accept an offer for the first team.

Offer for the youth/reserve team and it should be accepted IIRC

ive seen this before. all u have to do is wait to be offered a friendly by ur parent club
