Barkermush
How many players can you loan in i thought there was a rule in Fm that said you can not loan no more than 4 or 6 can't remember exactly but been looking at the loans in table in real life and Blackpool have 19, Here is the Championship Loans In List 19: Blackpool 16: Norwich 12: Charlton 9: Birmingham, Sheffield Utd 8: Derby, Nottm Forest, Southampton, Watford 7: Barnsley, Cardiff 6: Preston, QPR, Sheffield Wed, Swansea, Wolves 5: Ipswich, Plymouth 4: Crystal Palace 3: Doncaster 2: Bristol City, Burnley, Coventry, Reading It looks like if one can make anything of this it is better not to have loan players if you want success. ism-scfc
Why? You mean it hurts to have to keep looking up at us, dont worry County will have there good times ... in League 2 again Take a look at the league table, get the calculator out, and it will become clear that we can't be relegated this season. It aint gonna happen soon either - we have the best young manager in the football league and (on the pitch) we're on the way up. Not convinced about the bufoons behind the scenes though
bigdunk
There are limits on 'proper' domestic loans, i.e. those than are either full season, or that run from summer to jan or jan to summer and are from clubs in England. It's something like maximum of 8, maximum of 4 at any one time. However there are no limits on emergency loans, these are up to a maximum of 93(or so) days and only occur while transfer windows are closed. A maximum of 5 loan players (of any type) can be in the on the pitch at the same time. Derby, for example, have Ellington and Barazite on season long loans from English clubs, Kazmierczak and Pereplotkins from foreign clubs and Eustace and Bannan on Emergency loans. We also had Seb Hines and James Tomkins on emeregency loans earlier in the season.
arsenal_2111
8: Derby, Nottm Forest, Southampton, Watford Eh? Watford haven't had 8 have they? Liam Bridcutt, Jack Cork, Gregorz Rasiak, Alex Cauna, Darren Ward, Mark Tyler and Gavin Hoyte One was season long (Rasiak) Three were four months (Bridcutt, Ward, Tyler) Three were 6 month (Hoyte, Cork, Cauna) Who is the other one?

James Tringham
I just wish I would stop being quoted a £950k fee for a 3 month loan of a teenager. Admittedly, it's Henri Saivet, but still. THat's plain barmy. This is to Wolves, btw.
IMT
Also loans from leagues in other countries are not classed as loans, but short term transfers, hence how Norwich seemed to be able to play more than the legally allowed loans in your matchday 16, Alan Gow and Chris Killen are not classed as a loans for us as they are from Rangers and Celtic, and earlier in the season we had the same with Lupoli and Kennedy. Doesn't detract from the fact we've had too many loans, hence a lack of stability and being 4th bottom!!!
bigdunk
So...How are 'emergency' loans configured in the game? I haven't used them that often, but they seem pretty much accurate to real life to me.
BenArsenal
I haven't used them that often, but they seem pretty much accurate to real life to me. No, I mean, how does it work? What constitutes an 'emergency' loan in the game?
Katarian
In the game the only thing that counts as an emergency loan is loaning a Goalkeeper if yours are injured.
bigdunk
In the championship and lower, any loan not during a transfer window is classed as an emergency loan. There's no restrictions on it at all. Calling it an emergency loan is basically the football league bending FIFA rules to allow players to be signed at any time.
