backpackant Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 So far as I know this is only the case when you use the corner exploit. That is, basically, aim the ball into the 6 yard box, set your best header/jumper to challenge the goalkeeper. Plus a couple of other settings, I forget. If you want to score a realistic amount of goals from corners don't use this set up. The AI cannot use it, so it's not evening anything up if you do. If, however, you enjoy getting loads of goals from corners, just continue. It's not quite as effective as FM08 but it's a good way of winning virtually everything going. Management Posted March 21, 2009 Share Posted March 21, 2009 I don't get too many from corners... I get more from penalties. Last season Barry scored 15 goals all up and 10 were from the spot. So far this season (only played 4 friendlies) he's gotten 5 penalties... in one match he got a hatrick of penalties.. ***looks for screenie... found it*** Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
B4L Posted March 21, 2009 Share Posted March 21, 2009 I can't remember in which thread I read it, but the challenge keeper instruction is pretty much broken and will result in an abnormal amount of goals. However, the AI teams don't use it and if you refrain from doing so as well the amount of goals from corners will be much more realistic. Admittedly it can be argued over why such an exploit is still in the game after 3 patches, but it's quite easy to avoid tbh. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
