Luke Cro Posted September 28, 2017 Share Posted September 28, 2017 We all know how usable "B" teams can be, especially for younger players, e.g. Barcelona B or German B sides... Let's say you take lower league team in Croatia, Spain, Germany or any other country which had allowed B teams, and your club after several years is in top division and you are signing a bunch of young prospects and you want they play some competitive football and you can keep eye on them, so it'd be good idea to create B team just like in RL and your board grants it... I dont know how are rules in other countries, but in Croatia, clubs can form their B teams every season if they want to and those B teams normally play in several leagues below of their "A" team... For example club "Visnjevac" play in 4th level, but their "B" team play in 7th level... OFC, B teams can be promoted or relegated, but they can't play in same division with main team... And yes, main and B teams have same regional divisions... So, if "Visnjevac" play in 3rd division east, "Visnjevac B" can in theory play in 3rd division east too... So board request should be e.g. "Can you form B team so our youngsters get some glimpse of senior matches?" or something like that... B teams can be enabled and disabled for every season, but you need to keep in mind, once you disbanded your B squad they will always start from lowest (regional) league... E.g. if your B team play in 2nd highest level if you decide to disable it they will be considered relegated team... So @Gripper @Miles Jacobson what do you think?? I don't see any license issue here... because e.g B teams aren't some strong franchise like main teams... on the other hand if you are "complaining" about adding teams to existing leagues, than this "rule" is broken with option of creating or changing nation rules in data editor... anyway, this feature is pretty awesome if you start as LLM and your club become major team and you have bunch of players, so why not to create B team... if is possible in real life, than why not in FM... any thoughts from SI on this matter?? @Gripper Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
