Going well so far this season.

Thanks guys. I'm happy, more than happy, with how this season has gone. I don't see myself moving unless either Juventus or PSG come calling, as they are miles ahead of everyone else in Europe and winning the Champions League will be nearly impossible anywhere else.

I've talked about the massive potential within the youth team, but realised I haven't actually shown anything of them, so here's a screenshot of our Under 20s. If I end up staying 5 or more years, these guys will all have a massive part to play

WOW! Don't need to sign players for a whole decade, as it looks.

That's an incredible youth team. How are they only 9th in February though?

Half the team are out on loan and the under 18s aren't good. I'm guessing they are filling the gaps in the squad. I'm not interested in winning youth leagues, they are purely there to produce players for the first team.

This year's youth intake again featured some amazing prospects, and I've offered contracts to all of the following players

The best two are a left back and a left winger! That'll do nicely!

May's results weren't too shabby, with the title race over after the first game

as we comfortably finished second

Great campaign ;))

And we'll see some new blood being breed at the cups?

I'll have a look at the youth team over the summer and see how they've developed. I'll promote any of them who are good enough for the first team and loan out the rest. That's of course if I don't move on myself 😉

It'll come up eventually, but Walter Mazzarri, Juve manager, is 67 and was due to be out of contract, however he just signed for another 3 years. If I'm to go to Juventus, either he's going to have a fall from grace and get sacked, or I'm going to have to wait for him to retire.

October wasn't bad domestically, as we retained our unbeaten record (though it should've been better as we threw away a 3-1 lead against Milan to draw, and we were woeful in both Champions League games

leaving us locked at the top of Serie A with Inter, Juventus just a point behind

and much work to do to qualify from our Champions League group

I can't work out what's going on in Europe. We're dominating and winning almost every game in Serie A, yet can't beat an Israeli team at home when they're reduced to 10 men. I hope the board will see past the European struggle, as they were requesting a quarter final place, and were only asking for Champions League qualification from Serie A. As long as I keep us clear of 5th place, hopefully I get to keep my job.

December wasn't my greatest month as Fiorentina manager, and we lost AGAIN in the Champions League

finishing the month second in the league, 2 points behind Inter

and bottom of the Champions League group, meaning no European football after Christmas

You were always going to do well to get out of that Champions League group. Good effort.

Just need to make sure Inter don't pull too far away from you.

I agree but I did expect to beat Maccabi to the Europa League place!

Into May, and here are the results for rounds 36 and 37

and here is the table ahead of our last match, showing that we still have a chance of the title, and can fully go for it knowing that second place is guaranteed

If only the Laziale settled for a draw... :/

Good Luck!
