bolulu
When a player comes & asks why you didn't let him talk to such 'n such club, unless you tell him you will accept the next bid that reaches our valuation of you, then you are screwed. All other responses finish in tears with a player hating you, or what you've done. Consequently I give this same wishy-washy answer to all such inquiries. Anybody found a better way to handle this? If this is posted in wrong forum,,, apologies.
El Presidente
Well my valuation is usually pretty high so I alter the asking price This then gives me significant funds to get another player in. You need not cling to players. Best to sell at a large profit and then get another fish out of the sea so to speak.

Mr U Rosler
Agree to accept any offer that meets your valuation. Then change your valuation (asking price) to a level that will never be met by another club. Problem solved. Example, Mulumbu at West Brom, comes to me said he wants to go to Juve, I say fine if they meet valuation. He's valued at £10m, I set his asking price to £25m. No bid is ever made and he's happy for the whole season.
brawla123
Or you could reject his transfer request, wait a while and maybe ask the captain to solve the problem. Not many loyal players in the game anymore.
gavo01
To OP, Imagine this scenario when no money changes hands and you're about to lose your 20 goal a season striker. Its heartbreaking I tell you.
