Franky's Blitz 4-3-3 11.3 by Earstorm

Recommended Posts

Basically, it's 90% Franky's highly successful tactic with certain tweaks made for 11.3. I have enjoyed a truly great career with Valencia having won everything throughout my 2-year stint at the Spanish club. The most significant result was beating Real Madrid in the Cup final with 7! men on the pitch (2 sending-offs and 2 injuries). I do feel it is a VERY quality tactic to share. So, let's get down to business:

Pitch size: Minimum

Team talks: None ( only after the match when the team win - well done, if loose to a clear underdog - not good enough )

Opps: None

Match Prep: Team Blend till fluency in all areas then set to None

I will not go deep in the changes as you may see them in the tactic itself. I hope for constructive criticism and further improvement of a brilliant tactic produced by Franky. Screenshots will be posted later, some problems with print screen.

LOL, first game with this tactic against real madrid and beat them 2-0 as inter milan. Tactic is not even fluid yet and its already impressing me, i had 6 ccc's but uker cassilias was in super keeper mode. I also managed a 65% possesion wich is always nice.

One small negative is that the CM's try longshots while its better to pass the ball.

If i remember correctly franky always used CM's with high workrate, stamina. I put my most defence oriented CM in the middle and the more creative ones in LCM and RCM.

For the strikers you need 1 targetman in the centre and 2 fast strikers on the sides. This is the best combination as you need someone strong that can hold the ball for a while otherwise the attack will be less effective.

As for the defenders this should be relativly straight forward but put your best header in the right CB spot, this guy should have good heading, jumping, anticipation, bravery, strength. Important attributes for cornertakers are corners and anticipation, anticipation is key here.

Hi all, I just wanted to post some screens of my first season with this revamped tactic!

I took Montpellier in French 1st division. Media prediction 7th. i sure hoped to grab a CL qualifier via 1-3rd place, but I had a much greater season.

Benitez scored 51 goals in all competitios as the central striker.

Just as in the OP, no OI's, no Teamtalks (except end of match and sometimes at half time with individual bad performances where I get angry).

Moral kept high all season. The only time I got some bad losses, the low cup matches came round to bring it back up again. If your calendar allows you, don't hesitate to fill in a friendly match against a very week teem just to push moral back up. (I didn't need to this time, but works brilliantly otherwise).

Many thanks to Franky and earstorm.

Have fun all!

I really appreciated this tactic on 11.2 and this version is a nice upgrade for 11.3. I am really surprised that it is getting more attention. It produces decent possession, creates nice attacking football (and decent CCC) amongst the front three and with three hardworking CMs with any defensive ability it is quite tight at the back. Once a transfer update is released after today this will be my career tactic for a (hopefully) long term save.

Well done to Franky and all who have contributed to updating this tactic

Thanks a lot. All the credit should go to Franky. The latest update on the tactic - http://www.gamefront.com/files/20731352/A+better+version+Laterals+(Corinthians%2C+Nov+2014).tac. Full-backs are deployed as Brazilian laterals - efficient upfront and solid at the back (not always the case in real life in Brazilian football). According to Jonathan Wilson modern games are won by full-backs so, it is very important for them to be versatile. If you have a decent strength in depth try to use DC/DMC with good passing and decisions at the heart of defense - it significantly increases your possession, making your performance more streamlined and fluid as many attacking moves are initiated by the 'back four'

Is the latest tactic 4-3-3? if so can you move the central striker into the AMC role?

Just leave as it is. Central striker is set to rare runs from deep, so, you still have the width with 3 forwards as well as your ' false number 9', who is de facto deployed as an attacking midfielder.
