  1. I'll watch Englands game, maybe watch the odd game if I'm bored, and definitely watch the youtube highlight packages for all games (fast forwarding to all the goals), but if I've got downtime I'd rather spend it listening to music than spending 2-8 hours watching (possibly/probably turgid) football each day. Even without it being held where it is, It's not so exciting now I'm older.
  2. Your question was phrased as 'how far can they go?'. I think if other teams like France underperform and England get a lucky draw then they could go all the way to the final. I don't see any team on their half of the draw beating Argentina or Brazil.

  4. It's interesting seeing the highlights 24 years on. Does Croatia still win if Worns doesn't get himself sent off? I think they would as their goalkeeper pulls off a lot of world class saves in that match. I'm also reminded of this moment 4 years earlier.

  6. I'd like England or someone who hasn't won it before to win but I think its going to be Argentina.
  7. In case access goes down. Signing up to be snitches and singing props for the Qatari state.
  8. https://nltimes.nl/2022/10/30/qatar-paying-dutch-fans-attend-world-cup-post-praise-social-media-report I found an English language report.
  9. Insulting remarks? That is a very vast category as far as Qataris are concerned. I wonder if there are snitches from other countries like England and Wales?
  10. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/africa/63427007 The BBC reports Tunisia has until Friday (not sure if today or next Friday) to respond. Who would replace them? Mali who they beat in the playoffs or Italy as the highest ranked team not to qualify? I would hope Mali.
  11. If anyone is interested here is a 17 and a half minute video of the match engine I took.

  13. https://www.footballmanager.com/features/match-ai-and-animation This is the main reason I'm excited about FM23. More intelligent AI Defensive play by human managers is as effective as attacking play Improved animation especially for goalkeepers Individual styles of play of each manager is more discernible on the pitch Improved defensive play
  14. If you get to 100% trusted by the board of your club you can suggest specific club as affiliates. The problem is if the club isn't interested, then you just get a rejection message and have to wait another 6 months for another affiliate suggestion. It would be better if when you go to suggest a particular club, if it isn't interested you have "this club is highly unlikely to agree to be affiliated with you" message box come up so you can suggest another one in it's place. I'd also like the ability to ask for an affiliate in a particular country or league.
  15. I I've just checked FMFC and there are a load of articles under 'The Byline' section of FMFC about FM22 that are really interesting to me that were posted earlier in 2022 but I had no idea there were there until this very moment. I follow FM on Facebook but I don't have a Twitter account so maybe I missed them being promoted there, but my feedback would be to for FMFC to have more of these sorts of articles regularly and to promote them more including on these forums.
  16. For you and @samuelawachie (I'm guessing there is no problem in me posting it on here, but if there is, then someone from the Mod team let me know and I'll delete it)

  19. What were the exact rules from Guinness in relation to your FM save? I'd be interested in knowing what they were.
  20. I'm really excited about the Recruitment revamp and supporter confidence features and I'm hoping the AI/Match engine changes especially around managers and defensive play mean that certain IRL successful managers like Pep and Mourinho perform better in-game than they have done in past editions. I'm glad I pre-ordered it. I would have liked to have seen some changes to International manager-ship, but I'd just be happy with small changes that may be yet to be announced.
