Update: did a new trial today.
Holidayed one season , picked the team that got promoted from 4th tier : Berchem Sport
Starting finances:
After one season(without me adding any staff, player contracts etc)
look at the costs, non football costs are very high (in november already 220k) and the youth setup cost like almost for every team in belgium is high.

don't forget actual costs for many things are also higher then in Portugal to name one.
leagues lower than 3rd tier aren't supported, so is additional, we cannot provide total input for all the teams in the game.
1st 3 leagues should be well covered.
Teams from the 3rd tier are losing money from the start of the game. Please check my opening post and feedback from @Bartrcm We posted a lot of information last year with saved games and screenshots.

Concerning the lower division teams; I'll have a look at the contracts. I've seen a lot of them are put part-time + wages. I'll modify them to amateur and delete the wages. Maybe this can be one of the causes.
Good evening, thanks for taking a look and replying . I think you also need to look to the ground maintenance , non football costs and youth setup costs, they are extremly high if you compare them with teams in france, portugal etc in third or fourth division.

I have found a solution (i think).
I deleted the Reserve (u20 team).
Added a manager to the u18 team with a contract till 2024
Added the U18 to the third tier u18
Holidayed a season, after a few reloads i had my team (Braves) and i can add U18 staff, and move staff from senior to reserve.
now i'm going to do some more holiday tests.. i'll let you know.

Think the u20 ones conflict with what is expected in the league setup hence the issues around moving players and all the job issues etc.
So if we remove the U20 thing in the editor, we should be fine ?

Another reported issue is that most teams from league two or non league promoted teams can not place players from senior squad to u18 team

Just did a test in Belgium.
Nothing changed @Zachary Whyte.
Promoted teams from 4rd tier to 3rd tier after one season, start with +- 200k positive balance. after one season they are in very red figures . Most of them lost 1.000.000 euro or even more.

tested and this is not fixed in the full release.
@Kyle Brown i don't have a save game available , but maybe @DazRTaylor can help with this ?

This issue isn't fix for FM23 ! saw the same thing with league two teams. Can't place adverts for U18 team, can't renew contracts, can't move players from senior or reserve team to U18

@Kyle Brown i have a new issue with my U18
this are my facilities :
team full of players and with staff:
If i want to renew any of them, i only can offer a first team or reserve team contract , no u18 contract
i can't place adverts or find new staff for my U18 . And this is my staff resp setting, it wasn't like this when i started:

Can't move any player from senior to u18 or reserves to u18 squad.
Don't get any training news (staff resp checkbox 'e-mail training info u18 is checked'.
No U18 friendlies arranged by staff.

Thanks @Moondog777 @Brentmeister also tried to play with Aalst (promoted from 4th unplayable tier after one year of holiday) and had all the same issues, maybe he can add something extra just for your info.
