  1. You might not care, but SI have to, because its a very sizeable chunk of their player base. It's not like when it was when they dropped linux because less than 2% of the base were on it. But none of thoughts on this are new tbh. Of course SI think about what is required to push various bits forwards, and how to integrate that into timeframes and spec demands etc
  2. https://www.footballmanager.com/features/match-ai-and-animation Same. Thought the article was very interesting but it's one of those that has to be played to be seen. Although absolutely delighted they've started to readjust the TC with more contextual language
  3. Thing is, there's no way to police this either. I suspect any good archivist will be hiding all of this stuff carefully in a vault
  4. Level up is one of the oldest gaming phrases, it's still used in RPGs when you quite literally level up, so no idea why it's made out like it's dead (I'm playing Witcher 3 once again, and just for an example I've searched witcher 3 level up, and every top article/video recommend in Google uses some variation of level up/levelling up). And I'm pretty sure 2020/2021 wasn't many years ago, and we're in 2022 and I'm seeing it being used when I searched it. It was used in a gaming context, it's an active phrase. Whatever you want to say, its a gaming phrase that is still in use in gaming, it's absolutely fair use.
  5. Give this turned out to be completely untrue, and you directly tagged Nic Madden previously, I think the least one could do here is acknowledge it and perhaps apologize.
  6. That would be a poor way to do an exclusive feature, since everyone has access to that and very few producers would do that if they could get nearby access to the coffin. No idea if their work excuse is true but if you were going to create a feature that's how you'd do it.
  7. Entirely depends on what they were doing Given what Jags said: That would be entirely in keeping with work.
  8. The only question here is whether they were doing as part of their job. If so, don't see the issue.
  9. They'll pick a date for the coronation, and every one else will having to work around it. It's going to be several months before the earliest chance it happens I think though. But they will absolutely give zero ****s about football, or much else.
  10. Fair play if you're still watching. Checked in a couple of times after 11, couldn't watch more than a minute at time, just not for me, though thought camera coverage looked incredible.
  11. I doubt it's any weirder than seeing an tribal ceremony for example. Not wierd, just different
  12. Yeah, the director is making their coin today. They will dine on that forever in the broadcasting circles. Though I suspect it will be one of the BBCs major TV directors anyway.
  13. Virtually every level. even MI5 have field agents deployment. Snipers on the roofs. There's a rapid response chopper with armed police. Military deployed too.
  14. Thought it was yesterday? A section of Welsh Nationalists believe it was deliberate that he visited on that day, as some way of delivering an insult or message. Feels like one of those bad coincidences someone should have noticed imo.
  15. It's not actually true tbh, David Beckham is easily the more public of the two. Having crazy spurious articles written about you isn't the same as self promotion
  16. Colonial Africa, in their many many different tribal and national ways did pomp, ceremony and celebration long, long before Europeans turned up.
  17. I'd probably call it so far a well executed procession, that I think is a massively disruptive waste of money, but that's because I don't care about the monarchy, and it's colonial past. But I'm not so blinkered that I can't see how those who care, or at the very least don't hate it, will think it's looks incredible, like my mum (who was born in newly independent Ghana at the time and loves it oddly)
  18. Plenty are impressed and care because the monarchy still has a large global following, plenty will not give two *****, plenty will hate it because of what colonialism means. This isn't a controversial point.
  19. Depends if you're deliberately trying to miss the point or not. The argument was never that it looks good to everyone or that there aren't people who don't like it.
  20. It's not unfounded though. Even if you don't like the monarchy ( and I don't care about them personally) , you'd have to be blind to ignore that loads do, around the world. Even a casual glance at non UK news sources would have shown you this
