    As far as I know all the issues were resolved with FM22 so should be the same starting point in fm23 unless Micrososft have been making more changes to the way things work anyway! They key thing is you need to run FM first before you run the editor so the game can tell it where its installed to, as its not predictable anymore.

    I don't actually know the champions league rules off hand, but you can check them in the rules page in the game (think its under the overview dropdown theere) My guess is the champions league rule is head to head results first

    On a Mac? MacOS version less than 11? MacOS 11 is the minimum specification for the game this year.

    (at an educated guess I'd expect the issue might be graohics drivers including with big sur aren't right from your card, as its not supported by Apple) might explain the game not laaunching and maybe any game which uses 3D capabilites. But very hard to say you are very much in undefined behaviour territory I'm afraid.

    I'm sorry I can't really offer anything more than I have, its an unsupported configuration. Its not about the processor or graphics card per se.

    You are running an unsupported config by Apple, so not surprised it may have broken things, especially if 22 worked and now doesn't If your machine doesn't support MacOS 11 it doesn't support the game. You should be able to request a refund from your retailer, if not contact SEGA support who can hopefully help.

    I assume you used some trickery to install it as that device isn't officially supported by Big Sur as far as I can tell? The game should launch but we couldn't offer any guarantees if its an unsupported configuration.

    I expect its struggling to stay cool so it has to underclock itself to not overheat

    The key with the mac minimum spec for 23 is that your system needs to be able to be updated to at least MacOS 11

    That hardware reserved seems mad, I have 2700X and 16GB of ram, so extremely similar setup and hardware reserved is 49MB Not sure whats happening there but it seems.. wrong. Generally speaking 16GB is absoluterly fine for FM and you wouldn't see any benefit for 32GB

    The minimum spec this year is MacOS 11, which for iMac comes out as a minimum "iMac (Mid 2014 or later)" so I'm afraid your device is too old (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacOS_Big_Sur)

    Basically you can take it that it will be very similar to the previous xbox versions

    Not to get drawn into the argument but the Athlon X2, Intel Core 2 spec, is a minimum not recommended, we don't provide a recommended spec. I wouldn't recommend anyone plays on such a machine, we just offer a guartentee it will run on that, not how fast. From my memory of the stats we have very few on PC's that old, but we have significant proportion on 10+ year old machines

    ioS builds have always been arm, so have always been native

    Generally iirc Windows licences don;t transfer between different machines (although it depends exactly what licence type it is)

    Yes but very very few saves will ever reach 2GB

    I'm stretching my memory but actually I think it was a bug, I think we accidently packed an offset into the file incorrectly as a 32bit value, I think I noticed it by accident when going through the code and fixed it up, I can't recall what version it was though I'm afraid, possibly it was after we went 64bit.

    For xbox edition on PC it is correct as it all has to be cross play compatible so the same restrictions exist on both xbox and pc

    We are talking about the minimum spec, you are talking about well what you've made up as a minimum spec. The game can run fine on modern integrated GPU at medium graphics settings.
