    I don’t know about other countries but in Brazil it seems there has been far less hostility against Qatar than what appears to be happening in Europe and the USA. Generally people here still more worried about our political polarization than about problems from other countries.

    It seems this will be the lineup: Ederson, Daniel Alves, Militão, Bremer, Alex Telles; Fabinho, Bruno Guimarães, Antony, Rodrygo, Gabriel Jesus, Martinelli Still no Everton Ribeiro and Pedro… They will probably need to come in the second half when the score vs Cameroon will still be 0-0.

    I meant the country itself has always been Iran. A quick check online suggests the Sasanian Empire was called 'Ērānšahr' for instance. I think using the name Persia in the senses you mentioned is a more modern thing.

    Iran itself is a good example of a successful name change in foreign languages as it used to be called 'Persia' outside Iran.

    They probably will, Ecuador's rise is largely due to Independiente del Valle's rise. IDV do a great job developing players.
