Brora Rangers – Season 13 (2036/37)
Premiership After a tight race for the european spots we managed to finish 2nd behind Celtic again, and seal CL qualification. We also got to the final of the (smaller) Viaplay cup, which we lost to Rangers.
Europe A decent qualifying draw ensured we went through to the group stage again, where we surprised everyone including myself by qualifying for the knockout rounds and even (rather luckily) edging FC Bayern, before losing to Man City in the round of 16. I’m adding some more continental leagues to make this a bit more realistic next season.
Players Connor Malpas 06a (ST) was on fire this year with 28 goals in all competitions. From the youngsters, last intake’s Owen Young 12b (DL/DMC) is developing very nicely and looks set to become a key player for us.
Youth intake (preview) A bit disappointing given our improvements in facilities, and very focussed on central midfielders! To the extent that at least one of them should come good, bringing us much-needed reinforcements in this position. Still, I'm hoping some defenders will arrive in the next few years.
Facilities I keep upgrading facilities - youth facilities are stuck on average due to the well-known bug or intentional design feature, but training facilities keep improving, and we’re expanding the stadium a bit too.
Transfers Nothing of note.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Brora Rangers – Season 12 (2035/36)
Premiership We managed to keep up our high standards from last year! The start of the season was a bit difficult, juggling CL and league games, but once we were out of Europe and all the cups our form took a great upturn and a late surge up the table brought us all the way to 2nd, achieved by beating Rangers on the final day of the season.
Europe Our first foray into Europe, and we actually made it through two qualifying rounds to enter the CL group stage, thanks to some crazy high-scoring and tense games. Once there we didn’t do much, although we still managed to pick up £5m in extra prize money from 1 draw and 2 wins.
Players I managed to hang on to the want-away Irishman Tom Thomas 07a (AML/ST) (now capped by Ireland), but the star man is still Ryan Nelson 08c (DL), with plenty of goals and assists from wing back, and now 2 caps for Scotland!
Youth intake (preview) Not much depth, but I’m very excited by Owen Young 12b (DL/DMC), he covers a weak position for us and is ready for some sub appearances and cup games next season. There’s the usual star striker prospect in the mix as well.
Facilities/Finances A bonanza of upgrades after the CL money! I’m basically trying to spend as much as I can before the board waste it on a new stadium. So, coaching and recruitment are now maxed, youth facilities upgraded 3 times, and training facilities twice.
Transfers Sold a backup player for £600k, we’re definitely moving up in the world.

Brora Rangers – Season 11 (2034/35)
Premiership A pretty incredible season. After getting promoted on the last day on goal difference, I wasn’t expecting much. But after losing 5 out of the first 6, we went on this amazing run which never really ended until the end of the season, and we finished 2nd! I think our ppg was actually not that different from the Championship last season; no idea what to make of this.
Players So it turned out that all these youngsters in our £110k/month Championship youth setup were actually pretty good. Once we went pro and they started playing in the Premiership, some of them developed really fast, and now I actually have a squad core of decent Prem-level players. The star man was undoubtedly Ryan Nelson 08c (DL), who managed to score 11 goals from attacking wing back (including some penalties), even managing a hat-trick in one game - what a monster!
2 players on the wonderkid list too, though unfortunately our “Scottish Mbappe” is not actually that good. Tom Thomas 07a (AML/ST), the next Evan Ferguson, is pretty good, and is refusing to sign a new contract, so he might go for his release clause soon.
Youth intake (preview) Pretty poor again, I hope to finally start improving those facilities in the next year.
Facilities/Finances The Premiership prize money finally put us (just about) in the black; I doubt we’ll qualify for the CL group stage next year but even a Europa league group would set us up nicely for some upgrades.
No major transfers; now that we’re in the Premiership some of my players have pretty high valuations so I would be ok selling some of them.

Brora Rangers – Season 10 (2033/34)
Championship What drama! We started off on fire, racing into a 9 point lead at the top of the table by December. But after Premiership teams unsettled most of our players in the January window, our form took a dive and we slipped to second by losing 3-0 at home to Falkirk, who went up to 1st, in the 2nd-to-last game of the season. I thought our fate was sealed but they bottled it, drawing on the final day, and we won, sending us up as champions on goal difference!
Players The squad is pretty well balanced now, with the only glaring weak spot being at right back. Our star man Tony Jukes 05a (AMR/ST) had an awesome season with 21 goals from the inside forward position, and Kyle Hoban 08b (DC) was great in the first half of the season before becoming unsettled and letting us down a bit in the second.
Youth intake (preview) The first disappointing intake of this save, though it looks like there could be a decent defender there in Josh Gilmour 10a (DC), who I might retrain as a right back.
Facilities/Finances A million in the red and they cut our wage budget just as we have to offer professional contracts… Still, these are very much rich world problems now
No transfers in, and holding on to my prized assets for now.

Brora Rangers – Season 9 (2032/33)
Championship A bit of a crazy season. We were in the relegation zone for 3 months, then kept getting better and better, and in the end finished 2nd, qualifying for the playoffs. But we lost to 3rd placed Hamilton, to be fair it was pretty close, better finishing did it for them more than anything else, so overall I’m very happy.
Players The biggest difference this season was that we finally had some defenders, with last intake’s Ryan Nelson 08c (DL) and Kyle Hoban 08b (DC) becoming key players. Quite a few of the squad are now rated decent to good for this league, so we’re definitely improving.
Youth intake (preview) Good again, and we have some defenders - though the top prospects’ personalities aren’t great. RIght-back is by far the worst position in the squad, so I’m gong to retrain Danny Robertson 09a (DL) to play there and hope that he improves.
Facilities/Finances Finances are still terrible, but not much I can do about that.
No transfers in, and no major outs.

Brora Rangers – Season 8 (2031/32)
Championship Wildly inconsistent but overall much better than last season, we won enough games to steer clear of trouble and even qualified for the playoffs, losing to Livingston in the 1st round.
Players I was greatly helped by the emergence of our first half-decent defender Josh Wallace 05h (DC), and then there’s the usual pletora of star strikers who get us winning the games but are moaning to leave all the time, with the latest addition Tom Thomas 07a (AML/ST) who was instrumental in our late-season unexpected push for playoffs.
Youth intake (preview) Very good as usual. The top prospect is a striker as usual. But this time we got a couple of defenders, hope they can develop!
Facilities/Finances Still losing tons of money, board have cut the wage budget to a measly £5k p/w but we’re still ok overall.
No transfers in, and no major outs either.

Brora Rangers – Season 7 (2030/31)
Championship We were terrible, but survived thanks to the two teams below us being simply beyond terrible. I mean 25 points from 36 games for 9th-placed East Fife, come on… We did win the lower-division cup though, FM-ming Livingston in the final!
I do fear next season, our performances are getting worse, finances are terrible, and lots of players want to jump ship. A restart in League 1 may not be a bad thing in the long run, as long as I don’t get sacked.
Players We have 4-5* strikers and wingers who are good enough for this league, central midfield good enough for League 2 (or league 1 at a stretch), and Highland-league level defence. Tony Jukes 05a (ST) is still great, and there is one player on the team who can kind-of defend, Kyle Brogan 06c (DMLC), who helped us a lot this season.
Youth intake (preview) More strikers!! But they are really good… At least there is a goalie there, and the overall quality is high again, but I am longing for some defenders.
Facilities/Finances I’ve given up on trying to cut down coaching and resigned myself to losing £100k+ a month, for now we’re just about afloat thanks to some cup games and cash injections.
No transfers in, and I’m hanging on to my star prospects for now.
@Anners Congrats on the cup win, reading your posts inspires me to keep going in Scotland!

Congrats @libbyshuss - fantastic! Looks like that save might be quite fun to take on if he's pumped in that amount of money - bloody hell!
@dkouv The youth set-up costs is exactly what happened to me, so I've been eagerly waiting for you to get promoted to the Championship! There's clearly something between the Championship and League 1 that isn't registered somewhere but I genuinely couldn't find it. I didn't exactly intentionally go back down to League 1, but I didn't complain as it saved me a bunch of money and let my prospects get a bit better.
Good to know, I've downgraded the coaching & recruitment but costs are still £100k a month, think I'll just stick with it and see what happens, relegation is a real possibility but it looks like I'll just about survive this season.

Brora Rangers – Season 6 (2029/30)
Championship Unexpectedly, we stayed up! We started off in relegation form, but then had a good run of form towards Christmas and never looked back, finishing a solid 6th.
Players The reason we stayed up is without doubt our star striker Tony Jukes 05a (ST), who is by far our best player and scored roughly a goal every 2 games. He is wanted by a ton of Premiership teams and wants to leave, so I doubt he’ll be with us for long, but I’ll try to hang on to him for as long as possible.
Youth intake (preview) Amazing, really, and it better be given how much we’re spending on our youth setup. The attackers Connor Malpas 06a (ST) and David Lynas 06b (AMR/ST) go straight into the first team to become our 2nd and 3rd best players overall, while the rest is a mix of good talent and decent personalities, thanks to our new model citizen HOYD. I would like to get some defenders at some point though…
Facilities/Finances After promotion we suddenly started spending £160k/month on our youth set-up, so I’m actually trying to downgrade coaching and recruitment for once, as once the finances get to insecure the board tends to sell the best players for peanuts, and I’d very much like to hang on to a few of them and develop them.
No transfers but plenty of loans out.

Brora Rangers – Season 5 (2028/29)
League 1 An unexpected promotion! We did ok to start with, went on a very good mid-season run, and ran away with it as the other teams faltered. I am dreading the next season in the Championship, but let’s see what happens.
Players Our attack went up a level thanks to the emergence of Conner Reynolds 02b (AMRL), and Andrew Macrae (ST) probably had his last full-strength season with a hefty 27 goals before he ages out of the team.
Youth intake (preview) Very good again, and we got our first true star talent, not sure I’ve ever had a 4* CA player in an intake, even after all these youth challenges. So meet Tony Jukes 05a (ST), who probably won’t be with us for long but already scored a hat-trick in his third game for the club. The only downside is that personalities are a bit rubbish, again - I definitely need to get a new HOYD.
Facilities A game away at Rangers in the cup gave us a chance to upgrade training facilities, though I was hoping it would cost less than £750k…
No transfers but plenty of loans out.

Ah, I think you may have to win it to complete the challenge... At least that's what I remember from a few years ago. Not to tempt you back into the 48 game Brazillian seasons or anything like that

Brora Rangers – Season 4 (2027/28)
League 1 10 less goals conceded, 1 place up at the table compared to last year - could we have a shot at the playoffs next year? We also had our first cup run this year, topping our Viaplay cup group (which included SPL Dundee Utd) before losing out to Rangers in the knock-outs.
Players Nobody stood out but one of our original strikers James Wallace had a great season with 21 goals and 8 assists.
Youth intake (preview) My squad isn’t great but still, 8 elite talents is very good. The only downsides are ok-ish CA, and some bad personalities - I have a new HOYD since my old one retired, will have to see how the personalities shape up over the next few years.
Facilities A coaching and recruitment upgrade, though for some reason coaching is still at Excellent not Exceptional in the facilities tab.
No transfers of note.

Congrats @Makoto Nakamura, very impressive that you stuck it out during those long seasons in Brazil! I´m finding Scotland a bit more speedy... Did you win the top league (Serie A?) as well?

Brora Rangers – Season 3 (2026/27)
League 1 A very solid mid-table finish, and only 70 goals conceded - that’s what I call progress!
Players The fact that we stopped leaking goals like crazy in the second half of the season was largely due to the emergence of Seb Loveland 02c (DC) from last year’s intake, while up front Andrew Macrae (ST) is still strutting his stuff.
Youth intake (preview) Another great looking intake, plenty of talent and personalities, just hope they develop. Also, a youngster poached by Man City? I’ll be very curious to see how he develops.
Facilities Upgraded coaching and recruitment once, we’re now to excellent coaching.

Brora Rangers – Season 2 (2025/26)
League 1 We started off badly, but switching to a more attacking tactic helped stabilise the team (at the cost of some crazy high-scoring games). We finished a respectable 7th, 9 points above the relegation playoff spot. The 90 goals we conceded during the season are a bit of a worry though.
Players Defense is awful but our attackers are saving us, with Andrew Macrae (ST) the star of the show again, scoring almost a goal a game in the higher division.
Youth intake (preview) A very good one! Lots of 5* potential, decent CA too, pretty good personalities, and even some defenders! I reckon this should set me up nicely for the next few years.
Facilities Managed to upgrade coaching and recruitment again so we are now at a very respectable “good” junior coaching, which showed with this year’s intake. Finances are still fine.
No transfers.

Brora Rangers – Season 1 (2024/25)
I’m trying out Scotland this year, with Brora Rangers, situated near the Highlands and Loch Ness providing a suitably mysterious setting for the adventure.
League two The squad was actually decent for this level, and we built up a solid lead at the top of the table in the first half of the season. The second half was much more dodgy, but a key win away against 3rd-placed Dumbarton (with 2 injury-time goals from us) boosted our promotion chances, and we got the promotion to League one on the last day.
Players: Our attackers are really good, with Andrew Macrae (ST), rated as leading League One player, the star of the show with 32 goals in 38 games this season. The less said about the defence the better, I’m hoping the coming intakes give us a boost in that area.
Youth intake (preview): A decent first intake with one standout player Englishman Charlie Bimson 01a (AMR), but there is a distinct lack of defensive talent which is what I need most.
Facilities (season start vs season end): Were terrible to start with, but we had enough money to upgrade youth facilities, and upgrade coaching & recruitment a few times, so we’re getting there.
By the way, I don’t have an U19 team - does anyone know if it’s a bug?
Transfers: let some oldies go at the end of the season

Operário dos Açores – Season 20 (2042/43)
Champions League I thought this could be the year… But it wasn’t. We did great in the group stage, finishing 2nd, and then beat Hertha and Porto (in an all-Portuguese quarter final), facing Bayern in the semi. Their squad is absolutely ridiculous, but we went 3-0 up in the first leg and I was hoping. They then came back to 3-2, and even though we fought well to take the 2nd leg to extra time, we then ran out of gas and lost convincingly. I guess we can live with the top teams for a bit, but when they go attacking or my players get tired we just can’t cope anymore.
Primeira Liga Porto pushed us all the way but we managed to retain the title.
Players Saido Djaquité 16a (DR/AMR) is getting ridiculously good, so good in fact that he won’t sign a new contract, and him and a few other players are getting itchy feet. The squad is a bit unbalanced with 3 top talents at fullback and up front, but all the other positions being pretty average.
Youth intake (preview) Looks pretty good, 3 elite talents with pretty decent CA, hope that these don’t get downgraded later like most of the other ones.
Transfers nothing of note.

Operário dos Açores – Season 19 (2041/42)
Primeira Liga We had a very strong season domestically, winning the league and cup double, and getting to the final of the other cup.
Champions League A last-32 exit as we were, unluckily, drawn against Real Madrid in that round. But overall I’m happy with the performance, we’re definitely getting closer to getting something against the big sides in the competition, only losing to Bayern, Newcastle, and Real by 1 goal after some fairly close games.
Players In a complete reversal from the first 15 seasons of this save, our attacking fullbacks Saido Djaquité 16a (DR/AMR) and Péricles Varela 16b (DRL) are the complete stars of the show, and the team is pretty well balanced overall, with the only somewhat weak spots in center midfield and in goal.
Youth intake: Not much depth but I’m very happy to have two center-mid prospects as it’s the position we need the most, hope at least one of them develops into something.
Facilities/finances: No youth system upgrades possible this year, guess I have to go further in the CL to upgrade youth facilities again. We did expand the stadium though.
Transfers nothing of note.

Operário dos Açores – Season 18 (2040/41)
Primeira Liga I made the mistake of prioritising CL games a bit too much and it was looking like we won’t qualify for the CL next season, but we dramatically managed to overtake Portimonese on the last day and finish 4th, scraping through to next year’s competition. I hope I can make it a bit more drama-free next year.
Champions League Another really strong showing, finishing 10th in the group stage and beating Burnley (yes, Burnley) in the first KO round. But then we made a mistake playing too attacking against Real Sociedad, I guess I underestimated them, turns out they have a really strong team who won the competition a few years ago, and they absolutely hammered us in the last 16.
Domestic cups We manage to win the Taça de Portugal thanks to some favourable draws and a dramatic extra time win over Benfica in the quarters
Players The new generation is starting to come through, looks like we’ve got very talented fullbacks and an AMC, all from the stellar 16th intake. Saido Djaquité 16a (DR/AMR) is the pick of the bunch, but playing him at DR has created us a few defensive problems this season.
Youth intake (preview) Worse than the last few years, but it looks like we got one good talent in João Rodrigues 18a (DMC), a position where I could use some cover.
Facilities/finances Surprisingly the board allowed us to upgrade our youth facilities again so they’re now at Superb and everything else is maxed out. Finances wise, we’re swimming in cash thanks to the CL.
Transfers nothing of note.

Brora Rangers – Season 14 (2037/38)
Premiership For the first 3 months of the season it felt like we were in a title race, but after that Celtic pulled away and we finished in customary 2nd. Celtic are just a cut above everyone else in the league, it will be a tough job overhauling them.
Europe Straight to the CL group stage and we did allright again, qualifying for the playoff where we lost to Man Utd.
Players It’s felt like the squad was stagnating over the last few years, but now some youngsters are coming through, with this season’s revelation, the estranged Scottish cousin of Harry Maguire, Hamish, netting 20 goals in all competitions.
Youth intake (preview) Looks like a good one, our squad is strong so to get 3-4 elite prospects is not shabby at all. Not so sure about the positions and personalities, but again a few of them should come good.
Facilities/Finances Finally some big-picture traction, we got a board takeover at the end of the season, and the new chairman agreed to upgrade our youth facilities from average! Also they want us to have the best youth system in the country in the long term, which looks quite promising. We also got a couple of training facility improvements done during the season.
Transfers Nothing of note.
