    I agree with you 100%.

So many times I miss player injury just because you don't see the little orange cross in the player rating menu and also the yellow cards. Why not on player rating menu? You can see them in match stats but it's so easy to miss them. Really stupid decision by whoever made that decision, sorry.

It's possible to keep track of it if you keep the lower tab with your squad opened all the time, but this reduces the pitch size.

And in any case, a foul and a booking are kinds of events that should be in highlights, after all we need to know where is our weak spot, comprehensive view shows us every blocked cross that goes for a corner, but ignores injuries and defensive failures we need to address.

  2. I'll update on my previous feedback on the absence of bookings from game highlights. Tackles that lead to non game-ending injuries are not there as well. It's terribly hard to control the game flow this way. Examples from my last game:

Game starts, first highlight on comprehensive comes up on 5th minute, by that time i already have a player booked and I only saw it when he got the ball on a highlight, situation repeats itself later on. By the end of the game I had 4 yellow cards and no foul has been shown as highlight.

In the second half I sub tired player for a fresh one, highlight comes up with a subbed-in DM going for a tackle, ball leaves for a throw-in and highlight ends. Few minutes later I want to give a PI, open a lower panel and see that he has poor condition. Apparently he suffered a blow, but nothing ever showed that, there was no animation of doctors taking him away, a highlight or a text commentary, as it used to be before.

I've opened a corresponding topic in a bug section, this is a game breaking thing in my view.

Match UI has: notable events, dugout, tablet with four screens, XG, tactics button, collapsable menu with your line-up, shouts and instructions. During a game user has to navigate between pieces of information, located in opposing parts of a screen, interacting with various blocks and while it is arguable that we can get used to that, but it's near impossible in this conditions to keep a track on the match itself. Imagine missing second yellow card just because you didn't know there was a first one? Or subbing a player, while unaware you have an injured CD limping on.

I understand that UI can't be changed at this point, but adding notable events to highlights (that's in the name notable events) can be done. It's as if manager is blindfolded, how this is realism?

  3. I play on comprehensive, but unlike on previous FMs fouls, that get players a booking, are almost never shown as a highlight. For example in the game, which pkm is attached I had three bookings none of which I saw real time and always realised I had a fair while later. It's almost impossible to monitor this between the highlights, especially if you are watching the tablet or a dugout.

I consider this a bug because it can easily lead to second booking while a user may not even be aware that there was a first one and it massively tears one out of control over a match.

    Thank you

    Minsk v Belshina (YC issue).pkm

  4. The lack of yellow cards highlights is extremely annoying. I play on comprehensive and I have not seen a single highlight of my players being booked in the last two games and it's near to impossible to track when this happens. I watch the game attentively, but in this mess of between highlights screen the moment of booking is just not seen. It's just BOOM and you realise you have two players booked. Of course you can view it via notable events, but this whole thing rips you out of game's context. Very maddening,

Do you think I should post it to bugs section?

GK may still choose to opt for another type of distribution

This is a good point, but I can argue, that while with other positions it's really a matter of decision making, build up from the back is a strict instruction and should be hardcoded. Anyway fair point I'll play couple games tonight with my posession-based formation and drop PKMs here. On average my GK hoofs 1/3 of all his passes and I can't figure out why yet

    Thank you for the feedback

    Hi all

    I have two questions:

I decided to play with Sampdoria, so I had a challenge with this aging squad. On top of that they have no money to spend so I to start buy loaning players. I am now in my third season and won the league and cup in the third season.

    1) Is it normal Italian teams get such low financial reward for winning the league? I got something like 3.5 million euros or something like that.

    2) I saved my game in two versions: one with normal budget, being close to nothing and one with a sugar daddy. When does a sugar daddy start showing an effect. I have had zero results from this, in fact, the board are rejecting all demands for extra budget.

Would be great if someone could answer this.

If people have something they want looked at, they should be putting up Pkms and the like in the bugs forums

But this IS a feedback thread and mods are active here too. You surely spend a lot of effort to answer to all ME complaigners about how deluded they are, so I can't see why this comment doesn't deserve attention.

Also sometimes in the bugs forum you get ignored, like I was and still is, when I tried to raise a simple question about disappearance of match preview page. In three separate places, bugs forum, this thread and own thread.

So, I decided to post some screenshots with regards to what people are claiming about nerfing central play. I personally don't think there is a magical button to nerf central play, but whatever has happened it affected players (even the super creative ones) and they are much more inclined to pass the ball to the easiest target. Now, I am playing a 4-4-2 narrow, so naturally I will have the midfield congested. Yes, the ball will be played out wide in order to keep posession / penetrate, but a significant ammount of key passes should be happening through the middle. This was the case before the full release. I haven't changed a thing (tactically) since the full release, just because I wanted to compare apples for apples. The screenshots you are about to see are for my team's key passes. I know this doesn't tell the "full story", but is a good indication of how my team tries to penetrate the opponent's team. I don't need screenshots / number or other people (no matter who they are) to tell me what I am seeing, but since you are not watching my games, here it is:

This is an album with screenshots for the BETA Matches:

This is an album with screenshots for the Full Release:

And here it is a screenshot of my tactic that I have been using for a few seasons. It's pretty basic and I use only a few individual instructions, mostly related to closing down opposition.

Have a look at where the arrow is poining in my screenshot above. I don't have any players that have "shoot from distance" option. That combined with Work Ball into Box team instruction and great decision makers up front / all across the midfield really.

To conclude this post: I am not a computer programmer, so I have no clue what exactly was changed and I am not making my life's mission to speculate. What I do care about is the fact that I am starting to see that dreaded FM20 passing out wide / always going for the easiest option / lack of "balls" from my playmakers in situations I cannot put in numbers, etc. Before beta, my playmakers, especially the advanced one, would try all sorts of passes for the AF. He wouldn't always find him, obviously, but at least he would try enough to make me feel like he is taking his role seriously. After the full release ... not so much. It's not as bad as FM20 was, but now I am only seeing glimpses of what I have seen in the BETA and the norm has become almost what FM20 was. Again, I don't know what changed, knowingly or unknowingly and this is what I am not acusing anyone of doing anything malicious. All I am saying is that I think it's worth a look under the hood and maybe take the feedback on board. Or not ...

    P.S

No, I am not upset about not winning / not scoring, since I do win and score accoring to my epectations. Won the league for the past 2 seasons ( I am in 2024/2025 season ) and managed to get as far as the semi-finals in UCL which is what I expected anyway. This post is about the "journey" , not the "destination" if you get what I mean.

I think it's worth for mods to take a look at this post. This is the rational feedback you are looking for, so instead of trying to calm salty angry guys down, it might be beneficial to check this.

I'm seeing the same btw, my AP has most touches, but very little amount of penetrative passes, most dangerous plays come from Ws and IWs. In any case ME is a huge step forward from FM 20, but yet again 20 was the lowest point, so...
