  1. I'm possibly addicted to creating and playing around with tactics in this game. This is my new 4-3-3 variant with an attempt to make some sort of box midfield implementing a IWBs on the left hand side. Ws on the left and WBa on the right are tasked with keeping the width on the sides while the IWBs and IFs goes on adventures on the inside.
  2. A quick toying around with the current squad led me to this setup in the 4-2-3-1. I might give it a go for a couple of matches to see if I'm on to something.
  3. The timing of this thread couldn't be any better. I am now with Leicester after stints with Vojvodina and FC København. I am currently using my 5-2-2-1 DM AM shape with great success, but, as with Vojvodina, I want to settle in with a back four as my team is developing in terms of ability. At both Vojvodina and FC København I developed a 4-3-3 system, but at Leicester, I would like to keep the double pivot in front of my defenders. @Johnny Ace, are you going to post more ideas or let the thread develop on its own?
  4. Sorry. I think this is from the 22 version, and I don't have the save anymore.
  5. I just had a quick thought. Would it make sense in the systems with no true holding midfielder, to have a stopper duty in the central defense to push up and close down that hole in front of the defense?
  6. If it's not working, I will switch the APs to CMs and perhaps the FBs to FBa on the right side.
  7. Something like this perhaps? Yes, the player is Christian Eriksen, who I was able to lure home to Denmark after three seasons in Benfica.
  8. Quick question: How would you guys use this player in the 4-3-3? His ability on the ball is still excellent, but his physical stats are not the greatest anymore. I was thinking Regista, but I'm not sure if he's suitable to be a DM in a single pivot. All advice would be appreciated.
  9. That seems to have done the trick. Thank you. Although, I can't see my players attributes. I'm so sorry if I'm missing something blatantly obvious.
  10. I will try and put the MPGD folder in the skins folder as well and see if that solves it. Thank you! Edit: This is how my folder looks like now. This is my players profile.
  11. This is my skins folder right now. I have just downloaded the latest version and put the Mustermann23 Numerical Dark into the skins folder. This is the profile of one of my players. Shouldn't there be a DNA panel in there somewhere in the newest version? I have tried clearing out the cache as well, but it's still the same.
  12. Okay, I just wanted to check the new version out. It seems when I download the newest version 3.03 on the first page of this thread and apply it in-game, it seems like it's an older version of the skin. Am I the only one with that problem?
  13. Is it the same if you choose his position in the top instead of AMR/IW/S?
  14. Some minor tweaks as I wasn't feeling the previous setup with this team. Also, apparently, I feel better having a striker occupying the defenders instead of trying to drag them out of position. That might all change again if I can find strikers with a better feel for creating instead of scoring. I also introduced the DLPs as my holding midfielder behind a pretty generic duo with a CMs and CMa. I had three (!) players all good enough to play in the starting eleven with "Dictates tempo" and "Likes to switch ball to wide areas". Oh, well. This also produced this result in the Champions League, which made me feel a bit better for leaving Serbia.
  15. I actually enjoy reading about the different kind of 4-3-3's in this thread, but I would totally understand if @Johnny Ace would want to keep it to a minimum. I myself have posted quite a bit in this thread already with my variations of 4-3-3 without considering if it was okay to do so.
  16. My time at Vojvodina has come to an end. Three consecutive league titles and I thought it was time to seek out a new adventure. FC Copenhagen came in after letting go of Kjetil Knutsen, who left to take control of Poland. This is my setup for my new team. I'm not completely set on everything just yet, and there might be some transfers in the future, which can change things up a bit. First, though, I have to expand my network of scouted players before anything happens in that regard. My strikers (Emil Højlund and Andreas Cornelius) is not fit for an AF role, and because of that I have been forced to alter my 4-3-3 a bit with a support duty up front to create space for the IFa on the right and the CMa on the left. Do you see anything out of sync in this setup, @Johnny Ace?
  17. As I understand it and use it, it is how risk willing your team is going to be - both with and without the ball. Therefore, when you are playing on cautios, your players will be less aggressive, which could be why you are struggling creating chances. Not necessarily. If you are a weaker team, I would actually drop into a mid block and employ an AF up front and then your IW/IF combo could both be on support duty.
  18. I would, as @Johnny Ace suggets, try upping the mentality to at least Balanced. Also, who do you want to be your primary goal scorers?
  19. I'm 100% behind you on this one, @_Ben_. I'm sorry if I can't get any further updates on this wonderful skin, but so be it if we can't respect your work.
  20. I typically lower the tempo to better keep possession of the ball.
  21. If you want both of your wingers going inside, I would have my fullbacks providing the width meaning FBa, WBs or WBa. With both fullbacks going forward, I would make my defensive midfielder play on a defend duty. I would probably go with DMd or an Anchor. Lastly, with the wingers going inside and the fullbacks going outside, I would be a bit more conservative with my two 8's and go with something like a BBMs instead or the MEZ.
  22. I'm still running the 4-3-3 DM Wide with my Vojvodina side. 5-2-2-1 DM AM has become a distant backup formation primarily used against 4-4-2, which is a rarity. The only difference since my last post is that I have changed my WBs to a FBa for some better stability. More and more teams are sitting back against me and I'm conceding some silly goals if I'm being honest. It's a pretty new wrinkle to the setup, so I might go back to the WBs at some point down the line. Ridiculous numbers so far this season. It really does help reading some posts on this forum.
