  1. This. FM needs to decide whether it wants to be a game or a simulation - it's at a point where it can't be both.
  2. This is embarrassing. In fact, the entire marketing behind FM23 is. There's no chance in hell I'm buying the full fat game, and I'll use an Apple Arcade trial to test out FM Touch/Xbox Edition/Console Edition/Classic/Whatever it's called this year. If that's a monstrosity (has all the extra stats/data in it), I'm unfortunately out. The reason I'm so annoyed is I grew up adoring this game. I played on it for hours on end to a point where my Mum threatened to break the CM CD because how obsessed I was with it. I get I'm probably not a target audience now (38 year old with not masses of free time), but the people who used to "joke" about it being a spreadsheet are increasingly right. And Excel probably has graphics on a par with this (exaggerated for effect).
  3. Teamtalks and timeline thing: https://www.footballmanager.com/features/fm23-console
  4. 0% chance I buy full fat FM23. I'll see what the PC version of Console Edition is like, but I think I've outgrown FM. Shame, was hoping for a neat 30 years!
  5. I'm assuming the fact that Android is much harder to program for given the wide array of tablets/phones played a part in this.
  6. My work sent out an email saying if we want to use their counselling service because the Queen died we can... Think I can have a month off for it too?
  7. Hello, are you me?? If there's no Touch/the PC Xbox Edition goes backwards with the ability to edit data, it's done unfortunately. I can't get into FMM, but Touch was just brilliant. The changeover to XE was a disaster with the initial errors, and only really got going a few month in.
  8. Probably not. I caved and bought FM22 for £15, after hating the initial alterations to FMT (thankfully you eventually ended up being able to edit stuff), but I've barely played it. As it stands, FM23 will be the first CM/FM I've not bought since 93/94. I may buy FMT, depending on what it's like, so.. 30 year run, it's been good. I've had some great memories, but it's too much for me now. (FMM just seems too fiddly)
  9. When signing a player on loan, generally clubs offer specific incentives - promotion/cup win bonuses etc. I think this should become part of the game to try and make clubs more appealing during loan negotiations.
