  1. Personally, if SI were to go through Knap's thread and use their internal data with it, they'd be able to at the very least look at the flaws in the ME.
  2. As long as it's the same as last year it's fully moddable.
  3. One of the things that drove me to Touch. Also, why is the layout for press conferences so horrendous? The acres of empty, wasted space on the screen is laughable.
  4. Honestly, the hubs are a good addition, and match experience is long overdue. Reputation titles on the other hand....! I do think a tweak of leagues available would be useful, but at least Japan is added. Admittedly, all the above is moot as I don't have Netflix.
  5. Same when he gets sacked in my game (every game I've played so far!)
  6. I guess the dangers of capitalism challenge has become a real life thing then..
  7. Miles has progressively gotten more and more out of touch with both the playerbase, and based on his response to the backlash here, society as a whole. Pay £8 or whatever for FMM vs pay £60 for FMM and a bunch of stuff I don't want. The fact he finds it weird people don't want Netflix (hell, or even can afford Netflix) reeks of outstanding arrogance.
  8. The communication is good, but I still feel underwhelmed by the announcement; the ME/visuals of it aren't what drive me. I'm somewhere between the 2; FMT has too much bloat now/I feel it's just click continue, play game, continue as the alternative to the bloat, and FMM is too fiddly for my fingers!
  9. This was the first FM in 25+ years that I didn't buy (but I did get a handful of 99p ultimate game pass monthly subscriptions...!), and after 6-8 weeks I realised - I'm definitely not the intended audience anymore. Full fat went years ago for me, but I enjoyed my little Touch/Classic game, as an upgraded CM2, where I didn't have to think too much, and it ran along quickly. I longed for the ability to edit players' clubs above all else, then followed by the ability to add leagues. Instead, more and more "fluff" was added, and just letting other staff do things didn't really help - I could have done it better but was penalised for not wanting to. I'm waiting for the mobile version to go on sale again, just in case I can get along with that (although if I could play that on my laptop I'd be ecstatic!). but realistically it's an end of an era for me. From the 94/95 season onwards I've bought (bar this year, which was effectively a cheap rental!) every single CM/FM, but over the last 4-5 years my playing time has dropped off a cliff (from 1-1500 hours in 17/18 to 140 last year) Which is fine - games can't be designed with everyone in mind, it's just a bit sad that one of the biggest pieces of my childhood and beyond will no longer be a part of my life. I know it's not a departure lounge, but please, after almost 30 years, indulge me!

  11. Amen @grade I get full fat is their money maker, but surely the absolute lack of/abandonment of Classic/Touch/Xbox Edition/Arcade Edition/Whatever it's called this year marketing can't help it. It feels like they had a fixed term contract to make the game and it's coming to the end of it and SI just cba with it anymore (which is daft, given the effort put into the game. Hell, if I worked on it I'd be really annoyed at how it's sold). I'm going to use my Apple Arcade trial to play it on my phone, but I think that might be it for me and CM/FM.
  12. Whilst I agree it's not been much longer than a year, Rob and Ryan have both been exceptionally forward in their plans, and I think being there for a minimum of 10 years, with regular investment, in part from sponsorship/tv deals/merchandise (indeed, they've also said that should Wrexham ever make the Championship, they'd look for further external investment) They're taking in over £600k pa on merchandise at the moment, which, realistically, will drop (internationally at least) over time, but the £360k in person sales will at least remain constant should they rise. The average home attendance is approximately 9,500 this year, and with the almost certain to be approved new Kop taking capacity to 15,500, I think if you gain promotions with Wrexham their finances should only continue to increase. I'd be interested to know what Wrexham's reputation is compared to at least L1 clubs. (I don't have the Beta)
  13. You could last year, and I'd be surprised if you couldn't.
  14. I'm really happy to see that this thread is full of actual concern/criticism, and not happy clapping.
  15. Thanks @Desmond Richardson, does that include PC? I'm also assuming the PC version can load 10 leagues?
