I have read this twice and I still don't understand what this does.
@ta11zx This spreadsheet uses statistics from the game and creates the following statistics (all per 90 minutes):
- Goals
- Non-penalty Goals
- Non-penalty xG
- Non-penalty goals - Non-penalty xG - this is a measure of how well the player outperforms his xG and is an indicator of quality finishing
- Shots
- Shots on Target
- Shot on Target Ratio
- Non-penalty Goals per Shot - this is a measure of how often a player scores per shot. A higher value can be a subtle indicator of good finishing
- Non-penalty xG per Shot - this measures the quality of shot the player takes on average. This can be an indicator of quality movement
- Dribbles
- Fouls Won
- Assists
- Goal Contributions (Goals + Assists)
- Pass Attempts
- Passes Completed
- Pass Completion Ratio
- Key Passes - a key pass is the final pass by a teammate which leads to a goal attempt that does not lead to a goal
- Clear Cut Chances Created
- Cross Attempts
- Cross Completion Ratio
- Defensive Actions - this includes Tackles, Interceptions, Headers Won and Clearances
- Tackles Won
- Interceptions
- Clearances
- Headers Attempted/Aerial Duels Contested
- Headers Won/ Aerial Duels Won
- Headers Won Ratio
- Fouls Committed
- Yellow/Red Cards
- Offsides
- Minutes per Game
- Distance Travelled
To get a better reflection on how the player compares to players of the same level and same position, I have included percentile ranks. Percentiles range from the 0th to the 100th percentile and they provide a reflection of how a specific value of data compares to a larger pool of data. E.g a player who is in the 97th percentile for Goals/90 is in the top 3% of players in the data set. Effectively, the higher the percentile rank, the better the player is performing.

Introduction
Hi everyone, this is my first contribution to the FM community and I am very proud to introduce my Statistics Spreadsheet for FM22!
First of all, I would to say a big thank you to Zealand, @Rashidi and @Cult of Football Manager for the inspiration. This whole project wouldn't have come to fruition without all of you.
I have created a spreadsheet which automatically calculates statistics and percentiles for up to 2000 players (excluding goalkeeper statistics, unfortunately). And for those who are willing to go the extra mile, I have added a way to have possession-adjusted defensive stats. I will explain how you can do so later.
First of all, I will provide you with some pointers before using my spreadsheet:
- I would advise that you use a large pool of players (this is specifically if you want to use the percentiles) of about the same standard of football and filter them to specific positions - e.g For my Newcastle save, I have chosen my database of players from the Big 5 leagues and I have sorted my positions into Centre Backs, Full Backs, Midfielders, Wingers and Strikers
- If you want to use this spreadsheet for a smaller, comparative group of players, you can use the Raw Data Table in the spreadsheet
- I would advise that you use the 2 leagues above and below in reputation of the league you are managing in or if you are managing in one of the Big 5 leagues, you could simply use my filter I will provide later - e.g If I was managing in the Eredivisie I would select Liga Portugal Bwin, FavBet Liha, Tipico, Bundesliga and Spor Toto Super Lig alongside the Eredivise (However, this is only a recommendation you can use my spreadsheet however you please)
- I would advise using my spreadsheet during the January transfer window or at the end of the season as that is when you are most likely to make transfers - I have provided filters for those managing in the Big 5, however, this is not exclusive to those managing in the big 5 leagues. They can be tweaked to whatever your setup is. Big 5 Leagues Jan 1 FM22. fmfBig 5 Leagues End of Season FM22.fmf
They need to be placed in the following folder:
- Similarly I have made custom views which NEED to be used for the spreadsheet to work - Statistics Shortlist View FM22.fmfStatistics Player Search View FM22.fmfStatistics Squad View FM22.fmf
They need to be placed in this folder:
- You must ensure that the filters and, most importantly, the views have been imported correctly to proceed
Extracting The Players
1) If you choose to use the player search function, you must ensure that you have the filter of choice (unless you decide to choose it manually) loaded correctly which a group of positions selected. Below I have chosen Strikers
2) Select all players and press CTRL+P on your keyboard and print it as a web page. Save the name as you would like.
3) Go to the location where you saved the extracted players and open the saved web page
4) On the web page, press CTRL+A to select all players and copy this
5) Go to the spreadsheet and paste the selection into cell A1 of Sheet Paste Here (When reusing make sure that you do not clear the header of the table)
6) Go to column AK (Dist/90), select it and press CTRL+H. Enter the find what below and press Replace All. It is very important you do this step
There you have it. You have now extracted all the players into the database and can view the calculated statistics!

Statistics Profile
I have included a name search function which can be accessed by clicking on the downwards arrow next to the name of the player and searching for the player you want to view.
I am aware that this search function does not work with Libre Office and I have made a version of the spreadsheet which has a dropdown list, however, the name search function does not work .
Player Profile
If you do not wish to view this sheet as you don't want to see the attributes, you can simply hide the sheet by right-clicking on the name of the sheet
Possession Stats
This is where the fun begins . If you do not wish to use possession-adjusted stats, you can simply leave the table blank, hide the sheet by right-clicking on the name of the sheet and skip this section.
This is the fastest way I have found to extract possession stats out of the game and if you do find a faster method, please do share it in the replies .
1) You will need a cropping tool - for Windows you can use the snipping tool
2) On FM, go to the screen shown below of the league of choice
3) Use the snipping tool to take a screenshot ONLY including the name and average possession of the team as shown below. Do this for each league you are using. You may have to take multiple screenshots of each league
4) You will need to use an image to Excel converter. I recommend using https://www.table-reader.com/image-to-excel as it is reliable and quick, it can merge up to 5 images and it separates the team and possession stats into individual cells. Do not change any settings and add up to 5 images.
5) Download the Excel book and copy the team and possession stats it provides. You should get a result similar to below
6) You are not done yet as my formula does not accept it in the form of percentages. You will need to select column B and press CTRL+H and enter the following below
7) You will get a result similar to as shown below and now you should have possession-adjusted statistics!
Feel free to share any mistakes or troubles you have using the spreadsheet. I will try to help you but I am currently busy doing work for school and writing my UCAS application, so please do be patient .
Thanks.

@beverage1982this is how I've been getting good performances from my IW in my system, 13 assists in 20 games. He also has player traits like switch ball to wide areas and cuts inside from left wing. It's also important to have a player with decent work rate.
@mikcheck May I ask, what skin are you using?

OPZ's Skin. It's great for my test-saves because it shows the financial development of a Club in the Club-Overview-Pannel:)
Thanks.

@Cleon ocould you give me advice on how to setup my general training focus, focus intensity, match preparation, individual focus and individual intensity for my senior team, U21s and my U18s?
I am managing Shooting Stars (my dad's team) in the Nigerian Professional League. We have around average training facilities and minimal youth facilities.
Whenever I set my individual focuses, I set my youth players to a heavy intensity keeping the general focus intensity to low and add an spefic attribute focus if needed but the player always complains about the workload and if the player is unhappy with the workload they don't develop as well but I don't want to lower the intensity until they have just about reached their potential.
Also how much does a player's unhappiness about the workload decline their development because I have seen many people that have players unhappy about the workload and still have training performance to the best level.
Sorry for all the questions this is not my part of expertise in FM
