  1. I cannot find the list of bug fixes that came with the full version release. Is it available? Has the AI squad rotation issue been fixed?
  2. Yeah, it would be interesting to know wether it’s a training/development issue or it’s just that regen “spawn” with super low dribbling and crossing to begin with
  3. I refuse to believe that in 2023 where we can basically fly planes into space with AI a software company worth hundreds of millions cannot fix regen fullbacks having low crossing, I just can’t.
  4. What I find honestly ridiculous is that developers did not even bother replying to this thread to give us some kind of answer as to why this issue has been there for like 10 years. I mean, people took time out of their life to basically do THEIR job and report on a bug that is so obvious and it does not even get acknowledged. Incredible
  5. Probably one of the bigger issues regarding AI managers at the moment. Most of the development/squad building issues cascade from this issue
  6. Squad rotation is probably one of the biggest components of the issue. AI does not rotate, even when their key players are super tired
  7. @Kyle Brown could we get some sort of answer?? Is this being looked into? Is it going to be solved?
  8. Same issue as FM 23, I lost hope at this point. It was the main issue to solve, they did not manage to do it
  9. I really hope we are going to get some answers from the developers on the matter. This is completely unacceptable, borderline scamming your customers. There is literally ZERO difference in squad building, if anything it got worse. We deserve an answer.
  10. Been an issue for years, apparently it is impossible to solve for the developers. I don’t even know what to say at this point
  11. Players like Gavi and Zaire Emery have basically never been used in the first 15ish games of the seasons. Their managers have been basically using the same lineup (with higher CA players) for the entire start of the season.
  12. what does it mean you are not going to see examples in two seasons ahahah. The behaviour of the AI is the same from the first day of the game as it is in 2050. And I still see the same issues that I saw last year with how the AI approaches squad building.
  13. Now, have you guys noticed ANY differences in AI squad building. It honestly looks EXACTLY as terrible as last year. I cannot notice any differences, still the same issues. Youngsters left to rust on the sides, AI managers only caring about CA and reputation when picking players, AI teams not loaning unused youngsters. I do not understand how this could be presented as a headline feature and 2 seasons in I literally struggle to see any difference with fm 23
  14. Now, if a feature is indicated as "headline" I do expect major changes in that regard. While AI squad building still seems as terrible as last year, after 1 year of playing I cannot spot any differences at all. I once again outline the major issues: - AI manager do little rotations with their starting eleven, and their preferences for players are very sticky. Many first team players are left out to make 1-2 appearances as subs in the whole season. - AI managers still seem to care only about CA-reputation when choosing which players to use, completely disregarding PA and player development. - Unused youngsters are still left to rust on the sides for years. Even if they do not play them, they often do not offer them for loan leaving them to rust on the sides, or in their B team forever - Even when youngsters ARE offered for loan, they encounter little to no interest from other teams The 2 issues above still lead to teams having XL first teams because they are unable to loan a good amount of the young players they have. - AI transfers logic is still terrible. I often see managers spending loads of money for players that end up NEVER playing. And by never I really mean never, like 2-3 appearences as subs per year. And the funny thing is, after a whole season of never playing, they do not sell them, so those players end up basically never playing for 3-4 years in a row, something which I have barely ever seen happening IRL. Now, this is not ok SI. Please fix the AI. You said there would have been major improvements. So far, I have seen none.
  15. @Zachary Whyteplease can you let us know something? since we provided a ton of examples and the issues are still not fixed. What can we expect? Further updates for FM 23 or things will remain the same until next year? I think we at least deserve to know something
  16. I did, I bring you an example from my most recent save. Guardiola moving to milan in 2025 for a 3 mln/year contract, against the 20 mln contract he had just 3 years prior at City
  17. I come back also for this issue with my findings after the update. On this side, there have been huge improvements honestly, but for some reason the machanic is still broken in some countries, such as Spain, where teams still refuse to loan their B team players for no actual reason when they are clearly too good to play in the B team. The two Barca players I attach were made unavailable for loan for 2 years straight. Barca B is playing in the 3rd division, while these players have a CA that ranges from 130 to 140. They should clearly: - be moved to the first team and not the B team and possibly used in the first team rotations, or - be loaned to a bigger team, ideally in some European first level league and not be left to rust in the third division, for which they are clearly too good for and get no development out of. Same thing for the real madrid Japanese guy. Not only he is probably too good for the second league, but he is also not registrable for the B team for some reason, as many of Real Madrid B players, so he is going to spend years without playing consistently. Then let's look at Reiner. At the start of the game he is on loan to Girona (La liga) but afterwards he is being set as unavailabe for loan for 2 years straight, one spent playing in the 3rd tier of spanish football, and one in the second. The guy CA in in the mid 130s, so he would be a good first team player for many La Liga's teams.
  18. I come back to report that the issue is still not resolved. I have seen many cases of 3-4-2-1/3-4-1-2 teams keep on buying wingers and inside forwards.
  19. I uploaded the savegame from the screenshots above on the ownCloud service in case SI staff needs it It's called "No loaning".
  20. I come back to post some findings after the update. The situation has improved, but not enough for it to be realistic still. Many clubs still have XL first teams or 2nd teams because they were unable loan most of their young players (nobody made any offers for them) despite being available for loan. I attach some screenshots after the summer transfer market 2023.
