That does not sound right, if you have disabled attribute masking before the game started, attributes must be shown. Maybe you are using some skin that has problems, so it would help if you could post a screenshot of one player, so we can see in which way you can't see the attributes -

My biggest regret was when I learned about PA and CA. As younger, I thought potential is dynamic, and if a young bad player plays well, and you give him playing time, his attributes will grow. Knowing that Potential is fixed, now I know that no matter how good a player is at 17y old, there is no reason to give him playing time because you know there are no wonderkids in for example third Italian league when you start the game and that his attributes will not grow because he has small PA. All in all, the more I learned about how the game works, it was ruining my game more and more. The less you know, the less you care and complain, you just play. I have a friend who never ever said anything bad about any FM / CM in the last 25 years, since he does not care about anything, about ME flaws, about PA/CA, about ugly graphics, he just plays every edition for thousands of hours. And then there is me, disappointed, stopped buying the game, while he still enjoys it like when we were kids. -
This will continue until people keep pre-ordering the game and until people keep giving them money even when they didn't deserve the full price to be paid for their game. There are always bugs, there are so many requests people ask for, some even for years, and everything people get is some lame headline features and new bugs, each FM barely look like a new game etc. ( if there were no good people from skinning forum to make the game look different from the last year, SI would just update the shape of "continue" button and every year it would look like you bought the same game ) I didn't buy FM23 nor I will buy the next FM game until they bring something different. In my case, I am waiting for better matchday representation, better graphics and animations, 3D is still ugly, some people are waiting for set-pieces revamp etc but I think everything we will get is what you wrote.

I have one weird edited file I use in a couple of saves. And that is - I have edited the Potential of all the players with a minimum 120PA up to a max age of 26 to have -10PA. That is about 10.000 players with -10PA, which means thousands of wonderkids. What this brings to the game - yeah, now you have much more options to find and buy wonderkids but what does to AI teams, it actually makes them better! Now almost every team you will play against has at least one wonderkid and after a couple of seasons, there are so many strong teams with players so good, it is almost impossible to beat them. In my last save, Dortmund Valencia and Flamengo were so strong, when I played World Cup for clubs they we destroying me even though my team as well was full of world class players. You know how the transfer policy of the AI clubs is bad and they don't play young players that much, this actually makes them play young players and all clubs can purchase potential world class players. Even clubs fighting for relegation now can buy potential world class players. Usually, after a couple of saves AI teams are worse, but this makes things different, teams are stronger and stronger, and with each year I get a new strong team to play against. My team was Chievo Verona, and here are a couple of players Valencia and Dortmund had ( these are not regens, just players who were not wonderkids in default game but with my bulk edit they became that ) I hated playing against these teams. Here is the player I had to sell to Juventus just for 6m because I could not register him for 2 seasons I won everything but this was the first time I played for 10 seasons because of how exciting and hard it was. And one more interesting thing, no matter how good attributes are, some players play awfully. This is the winger I had to transfer list because of how awful he was. And look at his attributes. So no matter how good attributes were, I was often wasting my money on players I thought they are good, but in fact, they were awful, that was adding to the mystery, am I going to purchase a good player finally

I always wondered something similar - is there any proof that more coaching stars really have impact on anything? For example is there any proof that if you have a coach with 20 attacking 20 motivation and 20 lod ( 5 stars ) will make your player attributes in that department grow faster/better than if you have 3 stars? I remember before, I think it was FM2015, sometimes I didn't bring good coaches because I hate to search for them, and I didn't notice any difference in player development or in my game even if I had coaches with 2-3 stars, and I was always buying the same wonderkids, their development was the same no matter how good my coaches were. So I am really curious if there are any real proofs that coaches with good technical and mental attributes really have an impact on players

There was a debate because young players develop too fast and old players decline too fast in FM 2021. This was producing almost no player development after ages of 23-26 and old players declining too fast of course. This was the problem always in FM, there was no point of buying older players or even using them because you knew next season they will decline rapidly, it was better to give some younger player playing time. For example let's go back 10 years ago, Totti had 10+ acceleration for example, and next season, one year later, it would drop to 8, which would render him useless. But SI in next FM would still give him 10 again which is also one year later. I think this with older players lasting longer was introduced in FM2022, and I am not against it, because now it makes sense to buy older players as well, not just wonderkids, but yes, they didn't implement it well, since they last for too long. I believe they didn't do that just because of Modric or Ronaldo, but because there was a real problem in the game, older players were declining too fast and being useless because of that.

A couple of things contradict here He is clearly not a defensive midfielder. He can even play second striker. But, media description says "defensive midfielder" Looking at the attributes, yes, he is similar to Pirlo, but again, nobody would call Pirlo defensive midfielder Of all the roles/positions he can play, judging from his attributes, defensive midfielder looks the worst, yet media descriptions is like that.

Before my every save a make a set of rules to make the game more challenging or interesting. For example, I am currently playing with Toulouse and my rule is to buy only French players. Before that I was playing with Chievo Verona and my goals was to use one player from u21/u18, win Champions League with him as a main striker and to play until he is the best scorer in the history of the club. Or what I did earlier, if I have favorite generation from one club, for example AC Milan 2003-2007, I would take Milan and the rules are that I must have players of same nationality as they did for example in 2003. Brazilian Goalkeeper - Dida, also right back Cafu, Italian deep lying playmaker as Pirlo and so on, and I try always to find similar players to that generation, not just nationality, I also give them same numbers etc, I must use same formation etc. And then, my Champions League trophy win only counts if I a have a complete team with all the players with same nationality as they did in 2003. So, if you have some favorite generation from Besiktas, you could try to make some set of rules and only buy similar players to that generation. -
I don't have a proper answer for you, but I am a little bit confused - how do you mean player have no attributes at all? ( maybe that is something new since I am still playing FM 2021 ) I always disable attribute masking so I don't know if this is a problem - but maybe you can't see the attributes because of that ( even I don't know if attributes masking even applies to fictional players, I am not even sure are we thinking about same type of players, those gray players or players when you untick "use real players" ), but anyway, can you post a screenshot of a player with no attributes?

I didn't know it was wrong, I thought it is at least precise if they implemented it. I didn't buy FM 23, I bought FM 22 when that was implemented but I didn't play it long enough to see if those price ranges are correct, I just know I didn't like it, I am still playing FM 2021 where everything was normal. If those price ranges are wrong, then it is even worse than I thought -

There is one more change, I don't know if it was mentioned in previous comments they are too long - Players value has changed. So now instead of player having one value, like for example he is worth 10 millions, like on Transfermarkt Players now have price range, like this: Which is stupid beyond belief, now when you go to player search screen you can see "not for sale" for some bad players, even we all know that all players in the world have their price and they are for sale. I have no idea who thought this is logical. It can be useful since you know now immediately price range, but player should have his price, and price range for which he can be bought. Now you can't even sort players properly by price in players search screen because of that. They could do something like this, with both - -

Hahah, yeah Here it is - I must add it before the thread get locked I think PA should be dynamic because as it is now - 1.) You can remember all the players with high PA and every save game is almost the same 2.) There are no late bloomers, players can't suddenly get better attributes late in the career but we have many examples in real life 3.) At the age of 15-16 you already know the player will not be good if he has low PA. It is really stupid when you know that the player have no chance to become a good player already at the age of 15 because PA is fixed ( you don't have to use editor or anything to figure out if the player has high PA or not ) That's it
