BECAUSE the USA were about to face Iran. It says so right there in your tweet. This was to show solidarity to the protesters and the players against the regime. The current version of the flag represents the regime. They used a version of the flag that doesn't represent the regime. This isn't rocket science. -

The Anthem track they've picked for "Hen wlad fy nhadau" really is terrible. It's really out of tempo and has ended up behind the players and crowd both games so far.

On a personal note. I've got the day off work today. Was no chance I was allowing any kind of distractions for this game. Really really need a Wales win, but I'm very aware of what Iran will want to do after their game against England.

We start the second round of matches with Cymru vs Iran. Cymru froze in their first half against USA before rallying in the second half to get a draw. Iran got dismantled by England before showing glimpses of the attacking threat they can pose. Both teams need a result today. Cymru: Just one change for the team with Kieffer Moore starting after his strong performance in the second half. Iran: Despite my best efforts, No fancy graphic sadly, but I make it 5 changes for Iran?

@PMLF How come somebody as well spoken on the game as Julio Cesar is working for the BBC rather than Brazilian TV? Gilberto Silva, I can understand with how long he spent in England. -

He speaks passable Spanish. He just chose not to speak to Marca because of the way they treated him.

Hartson has been ridiculously biased today and I'm not really a fan of his commentary at the best of times, but it's nowhere near as bad as some commentaries I've had to suffer for England matches over the years.
