I'm a bit disappointed with Clermont, well, overall they are well made in the game but you totally decreased Jordan Tell, who is struggling that's true, but he had injuries and the team plays well without him i'm not sure his stats should have been that low, but it's actually very subjective, you decreased significatively Phojo for example and that's perfectly right. As per our requests in the beta, Bayo and Magnin have been increased and that's normal and well made
This sharing is a quick overall impression, not a criticism, i'm just wondering to understand how you reajusted the salaries

Salaries: indeed there are some changes. Simply adjusted values to the latest sources released. And indeed, most of the recent sources have been released around 'big clubs. Some decreases, simply reflects what the current salaries are, maybe our previous sources were a bit too high (l'equipe) , or simply some players have lowered their wages. It's always tough to find reliable source around salaries in France, we simply use the most recent ones to update when they are released. Mandanda definitely has lowered his wages when renewing (as for Payet).
Pele, surely a typo there, Alvaro is told to earn 2.2 M a year. It was simply a data issue on both, which I fixed now. I'd go through again the recent sources before the deadline , thanks for raising it.
Milik, weird, I was sure he had a setting for Marseille paying wages. I'd review that before our deadline, sounds like a potential database issue.
Clermont, ratings have been reviewed by the Assistant, which is our best source. As you said, it might be subjective, although I agree the decrease in CA might be generous. I'm happy his PA has been lowered to be honest, I think the rating is okish and reflects probably what the player would reach. I'd review the CA, although at this stage, I might have higher prios to fix in the time I have (not much).

En effet, je pense aussi que ca vient des reglages du jeu envers les DOM TOMs. Rien n'a ete modifie depuis des annees du cote de la base, donc il se peut que ca soit un bug tres ancien dont on a herite.
Un autre utilisateur a remonte un probleme similaire en Championnat de France avec des joueurs des Doms Toms. Malheureusement, le probleme sort un peu tard. Je vais voir si un fix est possible sur ce cycle, pas de promesses vraiment. Il y a plus de chances que ca soit trop tard pour ce FM malheureusement. C'est sur ma liste des fixs a faire aussi tot que possible pour le prochain FM.

France treats a whole bunch of former colonies as "naturalised" for squad registration anyway, but Réunion isn't even a former colony, it's a full Department of France and literally as much a part of the EU as Lille or Paris. Or Corsica for an island example.
I haven't checked the rest of the game to see if the same mistake applies to France's other overseas Departments, such as Martinique, but I guess it's the same.Here's a screenshot of my boy Ryan Ponti suffering the double ignominy of not being very good, and being told he's not French. I bet he's had it all his life and probably has made him a strong character, but all the same, he shouldn't have to carry this burden in Football Manager.

Thanks for raising the potential issue. I'd need digging around Reunion/ Martinique and French overseas territories being member of EU. It's a bit complicated but I see your point and agree.
Ryan Ponti, it's a data issue. He should have France as one of his nationality. We'd get that fixed when possible.

I've sent some tweaks for the winter patch. Hopefully, that should fix it. Not totally sure of the results, but there would be now a setting in FC metz to get newgens from Luxembourg. Thanks for the input.

Les notations du centre d'entrainement sont definies afin de respecter le classement FFF des centres de formation. Nous les reverrons cet ete lorsque les nouveaux classement seront disponibles.
Stade: Je verifierais les configurations dans les fichiers.

I'm not sure that 165 is a realistic PA for Faivre... Not claiming he's not a good player having a good season in Brest... Same with a -85 PA, it's really strong for a player, who is doing good surely, but also a player who is just playing his first season as a professional player.

Same here, not claiming he's not a strong prospect and his current PA is perfect, far from it, but I disagree with the suggestion and the reason for this request.
Unfortunately, we come to the point, I've to remind the opening post: Data is subjective. Please keep the thread for real data issues (eg Player's in wrong club, wrong position, foot and so on). Discussion around CA/PA are just a bit useless because:
- 1) CA/PA are subjective
-2) We are in the process of the winter update, with the full team reviewing CA/PA of the players/ team they are following. Those again would be reviewed by the end of the season and before next release...
- 3) We follow French football: I think we are aware of Simakan/ Faivre/ Truffert's and many more performances....
You may disagree with our ratings, which is fine, as we may disagree with your suggestions and won't follow them if we think they are not appropriate. CA/PA discussions are just a loss off time and energy as they are likely to be subjective.
I hope the feedback would help. I simply want to keep the thread as much readable as possible.

I'm afraid it's a bit too subjective to be taken into account. Not meaning, his PA could be reviewed but I'm not sure that a 154 PA is underrated. This value is strong enough to be first teamer in the teams you mentioned.

Salut Charles-Aziz,
Les equipes montantes en U19 national sont pour le moment tirees au 'hasard' par le jeu. Nous avons des limitations pour la representation des U19 regionales dans le jeu, c'est pourquoi le code utilise ce systeme.
Je me renseignerais toutefois, pas sur que ca puisse etre ameliore dans un court terme.
J'espere que le feedback aidera.

Yeah, to be honest it sounds a bit risky for the winter patch, but maybe we could start improving a couple. No promess though, we might have higher priorities and winter patch is shorter in term of time available. Long term, I think indeed it would be a nice level of details to add/ improve. Thanks again for the contribution, appreciated.

Thanks, I see your point. It all sounds like previous names settings to be reviewed. Those histories are set that way for years, but we'd review at some point and see what can be improved, no promess short term as it would have some knock ons to update previous names in the db.

It looks like an Italian database issue. The Italian research team has fixed it after release, but it would be ingame only after the next database update (so, for the winter database update).

Yeah, at the moment, Alvaro's wages are incorrect in the patch. That should be fixed hopefully for the next deadline. I'd review again the wages before the deadline to fix any potential db issues in big clubs.
Sampaoli, it's going to be tough. It all depends when the move is officialised compared to the schedule. We aware of what has been announced, but the contract is not official yet. Let's see, not much we can do apart from 'wait and hope it happens before the end of window'. This is on our radar for sure.
Larguet: I'm not sure what you mean here. He's set as Interim in the db (job as to be set as Manager for the game to handle the situation). Can you clarify in French please?
