  1. Had this in my beta save, loaned Bobb from City but ended up playing him in slightly different position, was telling Pep to bugger off, then he was sacked, next game had Simeone moaning as well.

  3. Interesting - I also constantly get things like "Player x isn't used to playing with the tempo we are playing today" or something similar, and yet it's the same we have played all season in a role that hasn't changed.
  4. Unfortunately I believe we won't even be getting a March patch for FM24 with (only from what I have read in this thread) Miles wanting to move all dev to FM25 by the end of the year. Makes it sound like the plan is to just provide a data update in March, no patch. That may well have changed (not seen anything either way) but with such a big move for FM25 they will need that extra dev time there. So really have no idea how good of a state FM24 will end up in. But it's certainly not the most polished version of FM ever, but it also leaves a legacy of what it's become, which is a huge shame.

  6. From what I remember from back then it was a bit of a s**t show. I initially thought it was going to be something similar to Battlefield 4's "Community Test Environment", but it ended up not fixing the main concerns with the game at the time. So yes it was a complete waste of resources and time. I honestly don't think it works for a yearly release game of this scale. That doesn't mean I'm happy with how things are, I've never come across a game this big not have roadmaps for stuff that's not working as intended or simply push something not working correctly into a fix for the next game, or one after, or one after that. Maybe things will change with Unity, but I can only see that if it's completely new code. If there is any shared coding, I imagine there will be a lot technical debt that will never be resolved.

  8. I seem to be experiencing the opposite since full release. My team is capable of playing those type of passing but I'm not seeing any of it now

  10. Then something else is up. Here's a quick video I made, I only have the 1 example from Full Release since it's the only goal I've got where you can see the lack of a pass being made, aware it is therefore entriely possible for the player in this postion to dribble himself, but this is happening in every game now. Followed by clips of passes being made where they just aren't being made now (aware clip 2 is a bit further out, but I've also yet to see that type of touch since full release). So if the ME is the same, then what could possibly be causing the passes from the Early Access to stop happening in the full release? If anyone has goals like the video since the update I would love to see them. I cannot get passes into my strikers like I was getting before.

  12. From the update I don’t think there is going to be any significant changes to the J-League data, unless they fix the home grown issue. But don’t think we will be getting the missing players.
  13. Lots more longshots as well as a result. I was really enjoying the movement and passing in the final third during early access, this does seem like a step backwards. But apparently it's still the same ME, which doesn't feel right.
  14. I am noticing far fewer through balls in the final third since the update, even with no ME changes. My strikers have started playing like they did in previous years, they just stand still. In the beta I saw a lot more movement and first time passing/through balls. Now it seems the players hold on for it for too long, and the strikers just stand still. Like central play was nerfed, even though no ME update.
  15. Thank you, found your client object file, what changes do I need to make to just turn the background grey? Do I need to have an image file of just a grey BG to make it work, if so what do I need to change in the file and then where do I need to put the file. Sorry it seems quite confusing.

  19. I'm quite happy with the default skin, but the 3D media backgrounds (press conferences etc), well, I hate them strongly. Would much prefer just a grey background at this point. Can it be done easily? edit: sorry should have posted to the small questions, mod please feel free to move/close

  21. After some tactical changes (which shouldn't be needed if ME was exactly the same?) am now starting to see something closer to before. Had to drop my D-line and engagement to Normal and Midblock, and then change width to fairly narrow. However Wing backs are still higher than before. I am also noticing less passes in the final third, more shots into the side netting. I have "more risky passes" on for my AM, 2 CM's, both Strikers, both wing backs. Yet when a striker is making a run between 2 defenders and a player has a ball, they aren't making those passes anymore. I'm still winning games, just not in the same ways as before. My goals feel more lucky at the moment, where as before they seemed like well worked goals. Possibly placebo is there really has been no changes made.
  22. Something has changed, if it's not the ME it's something feeding the ME. I remembered I had a save before last game of the season (in case needed to raise a bug report on something for team in 2nd) so decided to just replay the game and take a look. I got the exact same result, but look at the stats: Before: After: But what is more evident for me is the passing maps. Before: After: My AMC is number 8 on both. He's deeper than the BWM(D) on the passing map on the new one. Look how much higher the defence is well in the 2nd one Average positioning before: After: Does seem minor, but it's having an impact on the flow of games. 59% possession before, just 2 shots against me. 68% possession after, 9 shots against. Don't get me wrong it could easily be put down to a small sample size, but what I am seeing and the data from other games, looks different to what I am seeing now and the new data (that the game provides).
  23. Interestingly I did not experience this once during Early Access, other than in the Champions League vs a team I shouldn’t have been 3-0 up against. However my last game I was 3-0 up in 20 minutes, it was 3-3 by 70 minutes, all their goals in the second half and I just managed to sneak a win in the final minute of the game. During that spell where they scored 3, genuinely felt like there was nothing I could do to stop them. I’m Salzburg so best team in the league by far. The ME may not have changed in the full release but something has.
