    Yep u couldnt register players in the new format that signed in January. Kinda annoying when u have players that left but their replacements cannot be registered for the last 2 matches of group stage.

    The question is if that on the uefa website just talks about the knockout round format itself, or also the "cannot play eachother" thing (which i doubt, especially since there can be 6 teams from the same nation in the new CL, and possibly reach that round.. Which would be silly if they arnt allowed to play eachother).

    This is 2026 though so the new format. Possibly this "cnt play same nation" rule isnt there in the new round of 16 format.

    I've noticed this as well with my current save. Changing the staff that gives the advice doesnt help, both are always different.

    Its been moved. Its in the Player Personal Details now, under "Nation -> second nations".

    Yea i wish the Squad Depth screen wasnt ripped from the game. Squad Planner is a lackluster replacement with way too much missing compared to Squad Depth. No trialists, only 3 per position at the squad view ("design decision"), way more clicking to see ur positional depth, etc etc. Should just have kept Squad Depth in as well next to the planner. Having to add players manually that are at the club is just baffling and just increases the amount of pointless busywork.

    Ok so eeeh.... This thread/post can be closed/deleted, im a complete and utter tool...... I kinda was smart enough to install the FM 2013 Editor..... Instead of ofc the 2023 one... No wonder there was no database to find.... Since that game isnt installed..... Sorry haha.

    Restarting PC doesnt work either..... Hope this gets a fix soon.... This is all on PC, so not Mac where i see another error post about.

    Multiple errors popping up when i try to start the Pre-Game Editor... "Failed to find a default database to use" "Warning: could not find lang_db.dat" Things ive tried that didnt fix: - Verifying game files for both FM and editor - Restarting Steam - logging out of steam and logging in again (something mentioned on Steam Community as possible fix) - Cleared Steam download cache - Reinstalling both FM and pre-game editor, then restarting steam Note that i have Steam installed on a different drive and install folder then default, so not the default installation folder of FM/Steam.

    Yep i just realised this as well in the 2025-2026 season. Seems like an MAJOR oversight after a transfer window where there can be player turnover.... There doesnt seem to be any registration past 1st of september regardless..... Even for later phases... I assume its the same for other European competitions as well... As my screenshot shows, not a single registration moment after September 1st. So not after the January transfer window, and not even after the conclusion of the League Phase...... Should def be more then this..... edit: Ah yea thers a new registration window before before the playoffs. Still annoying for the 7th and 8th matches tho.

    Known issue reported a few times already that should be fixed for the game release. Its not the Manager of the Year vote even, just some charity award thing.

    Yep basicly. Players under 18 won't wanna move to clubs most of the times.

    Additionaly, just checked. Reloading skin cache does bring the Finances tab back when its dissapeared.

    The "Finances" tab of the Teams Overview stats page dissapears when u close it. And will be forever gone from the stats screen. See the pics. It will be forever gone in the savegame, even if u load a previous save.... So possibly when u load up the saves i provide, the option is still there... Had to create a new save to even get the stats back, other savegames i had of my main save didnt have the Finance stats option anymore... To reproduce: 1. Go to Teams Detailed team stats for corresponding league (any league, in provided savegames its the Eredivisie). 2. close the "finances" stats tab (as seen on the pictures, just like i did with the other stats pages fot demonstration purposes) OR open it then close it 3. its gone forever Providing 2 savegames, before and after the tab closing, altho after having done it, it'll be gone in both saves for me (so i guess it gets saved in skin cache or something?). Actually ive noticed it saved the tabs being closed from other savegames.... The Finances tab is still there before i open/close it though. The stats in the screenshots are different coz i forgot to take the 1st screenshot before i removed it, so had to setup it again.     Also the ones im playing are players already at club when the database starts, not youth i've acquired. edit; a few continues later its "dissapointed"... But still they should be over the moon.....? Especially since they are starting, not even coming off the bench...

    Board and Supporters "devastated" not enough youth players are given chances..... While i do with 3-4 homegrown players for the last 7 matches.... As Ajax this is part of the club culture (rightfully so). Meanwhile I've started a new season (7 matches, including 1 CL match) playing multiple homegrown youth players in the first 11 (Hato//Vos/Misehouy/Unuvar), but the board and supporters are pretending im not.... Seems a bit weird. Sure Unüvar is 22 so might qualify as too old, but still the other 3 have played almost every match and should be recognised..... Is it bugged because some have spent time away on loans at other clubs and don't quality for it? Or how does this even work.... Does it count "Homegrown" players, or just youth..... The season before it ended on really positive since i gave some youth players a few matches..... Having these guys get 6-7 matches should really count... File uploaded: YouthPlaying-T-IceMan

    Hopefully itll be back on ps5 soon. I see its not even on the store anymore now, so yea it might take a while . Thought bout gettin it on ps5 for an extra casual save beside my pc stuff... But guess that'll have to wait.... RIP pre-order discount from PS+ too...

    U call it a problem though. Why is it a problem? In real life players don't jump clubs at those ages often. In real life u got some exceptions, u've just said that u have had some exceptions in the game urself (signing a 17 year old).... Doesnt mean they at age 16-17 all gotta be jumping to ur club when u click with your fingers. As has been way too easy as long as i remember in FM. Also, i just got a 15 year old Brazilian player (which looks to be possibly become quite great) in my youth intake at Ajax.... Does not have Dutch second nationality, or any other one then Brazilian. Thats another way players do get "poached", its just outside of the "i can buy them" scope in the game.

    Its not a bug when its intended behaviour. Sure it happens irl, but not much. Also players under18 from outside EU cannot even join clubs yet till they are 18 anyway.

    This FM young players don't wanna go sign for other clubs till they are 17-18. Wouldnt say its a bug.

    In NL first team coaches (called Coach in FM) are often seen as "assistant manager".

    Ofc i had the time wrong in the title, its 20.00 haha. But i digress. Also, some of the qualifying matches are on tuesday, altho a lot of them are all put on wednesday's as well, with no tuesday gamedays. The Qually playoffs are spread over 2 days though, the rounds before that arnt. Maybe the last matchday would be on the same day (due to it determining the end standings), just like the final matches on Euro's/WC groups, but definitly not the whole thing.
