In FM23 it was possible to select your squad for the Champions League ahead of the deadline, although you couldn't confirm it. This was really helpful for ensuring you were able to register everyone you needed to. Now that feature seems to have gone, as the Champions League option is not available in the dropdown box in the Registration screen until a day or two before the deadline - it looks as though it doesn't appear until the previous round is completed. I don't suppose there's any way to get this option back?

Loaned back player counts as new player for UCL

Update - if I click Undo Changes it puts him back in the squad without counting him as a new player, so that's sorted except for the initial appearance on the registration list. -
I have sold Dejan Kulusevski to Man City during the January window, and included a loan-back stipulation for the remainder of the season. When I go to register my squad for the Champions League, his registration has been removed and he's counted as a new player, which is annoying as I have three other new players that I want to bring into my squad. Game uploaded as "UCL registration issue"

My suspicion is that because Spurs are already qualified for the group stages at the start of the game, the trigger never actually happens. Very frustrating. -
When selecting my team on matchday, if I click the "Selection Advice" button and ask my assistant manager for his suggested line-up, the resultant team is different from the one that I get when just asking him to select the team via the "Quick Pick" option. Savegame uploaded as "team selection issue" immediately before a game where this is happening. Just go to the Team Selection screen, click "Selection Advice" and then "Use Suggested Squad" which will get Stellini to pick, then click "Quick Pick" and watch the line-up change!
