CircusCarnie
I am fine, since I will win if this ends now. Unless you decide on early retirement there is no way Bigabelli is being caught now imo. Due to work commitments next update will be late Monday evening.

CircusCarnie
Sept 2020 Sept Goals Owen Meek joined Preston in the summer and has made great start. He scored a brace of goals in his first two games. He has signed a two year deal at Deepdale after leaving Hull on a free transfer and if he can keep this form up they have bagged a great signing. Mathias Brunckhorst was also on the move, heading back to Germany to sign for favoured team Dortmund. He has not had much time on the pitch as of yet but he is not fully fit. Dortmund have an abundance of strikers so Brunckhorst may be used as a substitute on most occasions. Tom Hamilton is the only other player to have changed clubs in a move to his home land. He signed for Perth Glory on a free transfer and should see some more first team action than in recent years. He has already started 3 games which is more than the previous 4 seasons combined. With just one goal to show for his troubles though he will be expected to find his shooting boots soon. Circus Carnie is playing well at PSG but cannot find the net in the league. Both his goals come in the Champions League qualifier against Sheriff of Moldova. Charles Beams is still stuck in the Fulham reserves on the transfer list. There are no teams watching him so it may be a while before he gets first team games. He has said he is determined to prove his worth to the team so has not given up hope himself yet. Edward Nelson has gone off the boil in recent seasons and has started slow this term. With 3 games gone he has still not found the back of the net. The club are doing well however sitting top of the league with no goals conceded after three games. Havo Bigabelli has yet another medal to his name. He scored both goals in a 2-1 victory in the Italian Super cup. He followed that up with the only goal in a 1-0 league win to make a great start with 3 goals in 2 games. Bigabelli’s only realistic rival, Andrew Jackson, is still unhappy at Barcelona. He is still considering his options and wants a new challenge. Its medals Jackson needs though and not a challenge. He’s grabbed a couple of goals in the league so far but he wants something shiny to show the grandkids at this stage of his career. Pinky will be hoping to continue his great recent improvement. Since joining Udinese he has been showing the Roma fans what they were missing out on. After a disappointing league performance last season, the fans will be hoping they can challenge for the title again after coming so close a couple of years ago. Guillermo Delgado is still languishing in the Villarreal B team. He did get on the bench for the recent Super cup defeat to Betis but he doesn’t look like being a regular starter for the first team. He is not happy about this and wants a transfer. It’s the last year of his contract so don’t rule out a move in the summer. Liam Ferguson has continued his great form. He has scored 4 goals in 4 games so far and the Black cats are riding high in 6th place in the league. The club have showed steady improvement since Ferguson joined and it cannot be coincidence. He still looks a long way of getting another international call up though. Lucas Volman and Torino may be in trouble this year if the first two games are any reflection of how the season will pan out. They were beaten by Pescara of Serie B in the cup and then got hammered 4-1 off Palermo in the league. They sold their most creative midfielder in the summer so Volman may have to work harder for his goals.
BamaToon
Hope Delgado can move and get some first-team football. It's too late in his career to hope for anything more than that, but maybe he can finish with some class by starting for some smaller club somewhere. Chubsie
This has been an amazing read, awesome idea Carnie, wish I saw this post before you started so I could've signed up! Fascinating how this worked out, going from one extreme to the other, same aged, similar (at the start) strikers have had dramatically different career, Bigabelli earns more in 1 week than poor Hamilton earns in a year! KUTGW!
Jack Rudd
Delgado seems to be worth less than it costs to pay him for three days, which is a trifle bizarre.

Bigabelli needs to spend 139k weekly to keep his belly in good shape to knock down defenders and goalies.
CircusCarnie
Feb 2021 Feb goals La Liga There was just one transfer this winter and it was a shock to everyone. Barcelona inexplicably paid over £12million for Circus Carnie. With the club playing just one up front and already having 7 strikers on the books it looks a bad move for Carnie. Barca are one of his favourite clubs though and the move could not be turned down. Andrew Jackson continues to lead the line for Barca although he is not as prolific as in past seasons. If manager, Luis Enrique, started playing the of them two up front perhaps they could end the barren spell where trophies are concerned. Guillermo Delgado appears to be back in favour at Villarreal. He has played the last couple of games and got two goals in the process. He is still unhappy and wants a move though. Atletico Madrid, Betis and Real Madrid are all monitoring. He is out of contract in the summer so will probably be on the move then. German 1st Division Mathias Brunckhorst looks out of his depth at Dortmund. Just two starts and two substitute appearances so far, with him failing to find the back of the net. Dortmund look to be out of the title race, sitting in 8th place, but they are still in the cup. It’s only 3 years since the club won the league and Brunckhorst wants the first team opportunities to bring back the glory days. Premier League Liam Ferguson is playing well again, he has 13 goals in 24 games. Sunderland are still just mid table though and look to need a couple more of Fergusons ability to lift them into the European spots. They are still in the cup where they face Fulham in a 4th round replay at the Stadium of Light. Its unlikely Charles Beams will feature in the replay for Fulham. He is still stuck in the reserves and has not featured at all this season. He remains in the transfer list but has said he is determined to prove his worth to the club. Perhaps he should give up his Fulham ambitions and accept he needs to move. No clubs are watching so a transfer looks unlikely at this stage. It looks like Tottenham have passed their peak as a team. From 3 or 4 years challenging for the title they are now, for the second season running, just above mid table. Edward Nelson has hit a dry patch with the goals. He has just 3 in 18 league games and 7 in 21 overall. Championship Owen Meek seems to be enjoying his football again. His move to Preston didn’t look like the big move he craved but the side are going well in the league and have a good chance for the playoff spots. He has 9 goals in 18 games and would have a lot more if he was not used from the bench so often. Serie A Havo Bigabelli and Juventus look to have secured the league title already. They are currently 12 points clear of second place. They are still in the cup and the Champions League so it could be a great year for the club. Bigabelli has 14 in 27 so far and has added another 6 for Italy. His tally for Italy now stands at an amazing 90 goals in 77 games. Pinky is considering his options at Udinese. He is flying personally with 14 goals in 22 games but the club are languishing in 14th place. It’s the second year running they have failed to perform and Pinky probably wants his talent rewarded with medals. It’s also a turnaround for Torino and Lucas Volman, this time for the better. After a couple of years floating above the drop zone the club are riding high in 7th place looking for a European place. Volman is again not as prolific as a striker should be; he has just 6 goals in 20 games. Tom Hamilton is on fire back home in Oz. He has 13 goals in 19 games and has attracted the attention on Aberdeen who want to take him back to Scotland. Hamilton would be wise to stay in Perth though where he is finally getting first team action after a few years in the second string in the U.K.
BamaToon
Guillermo Delgado appears to be back in favour at Villarreal. He has played the last couple of games and got two goals in the process. He is still unhappy and wants a move though. Atletico Madrid, Betis and Real Madrid are all monitoring. He is out of contract in the summer so will probably be on the move then. Good. Maybe I'll get a move to one of the big Spanish clubs to finish out what has been a pretty disappointing career, I must say. Bigabelli is tearing it up at every level. CircusCarnie
Tom Hamilton Last seasons goals We start with some sad news as Tom Hamilton has declared he will retire at the end of the season. It comes as a surprise as he had his best season for a number of years scoring 19 goals for Perth Glory. He is only 30yrs old and would look to be able to play in the Australian League for a few more years which makes it even more shocking. He has never made any reference to staying in football so it looks unlikely he will turn up as manager somewhere. Hopefully he will have a great farewell season. La Liga Andrew Jackson Andrew Jackson finally won some silverware at Barcelona. They managed to win the Spanish Cup and the Euro Cup. It hasn’t changed Jackson’s mood though, he is still unhappy and wants a new challenge. The cup successes rounded off a great campaign for Jackson who grabbed 25 goals for Barca and another 14 for England. Circus Carnie Goals prior to transfer Circus Carnie believes it is no coincidence that Barca start to win trophies when he signs for the club. He was part of the Spanish cup triumph but was cup tied for the European victory. He didn’t get many games at Barca but the competition for places meant other strikers performed. Guillermo Delgado Villarreal B goals Although Villarreal won the league, Delgado did not play enough games to get a medal. The lack of games looks like he will be moving on next year. He is now out of contract and there a number of teams watching and waiting to sign him. Only 10 goals last year for Delgado but that is due to constantly being moved from A to B squads. Bundesliga Mathias Brunckhorst Last years goals Dortmund finished a respectable 5th place in the league but this in no part down to Brunckhorst. He played just 8 games for the club scoring 2 goals. They got to the German cup final but were out played by Leverkusen and lost 3-0. Brunckhorst had to make do with a place on the bench in the game and did not get to play. Serie A Lucas Volman Last years goals Volman and Torino should good improvement this year. The club finished in 11th spot well clear of the relegation zone. Volman got double figures for the second season running, getting 10 goals in 33 games. No signs of any cup success though as the club fell at the first hurdle in the Italian cup. Havo Bigabelli Last years goals Juventus dominated the league finishing 20 points clear of second place. They also won the Italian Super Cup. The club were disappointing in the other cups though, losing on away goals to Man City in the champions League first knockout round. Siena beat them in the semi final of the Italian cup. Bigabelli had a reasonable return by his standards, scoring 21 goals in the year. He also scored 15 for Italy which leaves him on 99 in total. Pinky Last years goals Pinky was again a hit at Udinese. He scored 20 goals in just 36 games for the club. He could only help them in to 7th place although it is good enough for a Euro cup place next year. The fans have really taken to Pinky and he is now listed as favoured personnel at the club. He is considering his options at the moment though and may feel he needs a move to a bigger club to realise his ambitions. Premier League Edward Nelson Last years goals Edward Nelson picked up another medal this year as Tottenham beat Arsenal in the F.A. Cup final. It was almost double success as they reached the league cup final but lost out to Portsmouth. Nelsons season was poor though, he scored just 6 league goals in 27 games. He may be advised to get a move from the club now as for the last 3 years he has not performed well. A new club may reignite his passion for the game. Liam Ferguson Last years goals Ferguson is going from strength to strength at Sunderland. Last year he scored a fantastic 24 goals in 39 games for the club, it must only be a matter of time before he gets another cap for England. It was only enough for 9th place in the league but they are showing improvement. The club were again poor in the cups though so no European football again. Charle Beams Last years no show Charles Beams was stuck in the reserves all season and did not get any first team action. He is still transfer listed but no clubs are watching. This is the last year of his contract coming up so it is likely to be his last year at Fulham which will be a relief to all concerned. Championship Owen Meek Last years goals Meek had a good first season at Preston but will probably want more games next year. He scored 14 goals in just 22 starts and had another 10 sub appearances. It was almost a promotion year as Preston got to the play off final against Swansea. The two could not be separated and it went to penalties. Meek scored his but the club lost 8-7 in the end. Transfer news Delgado is wanted by Real Madrid, Sevilla, Betis, Valencia and Atletico Madrid. Wegason
Not doing so well in the league, but cup and internationals feature quite decent goalscoring ratios I'd love for this to continue until most players retire. CircusCarnie
September 2021 September goals There was only one transfer this summer, Guillermo Delgado’s free transfer to Deportivo. It looks to have been a good move as he is getting the first team action he desired and scoring goals too. He has 5 goals in 4 games with all goals being scored in the Euro Cup qualifiers. Still in Spain, Andrew Jackson is having a slow start at Barcelona. He has 4 games under his belt but has yet to hit the back of the net. He has missed out on a couple of trophies too as Villarreal beat them in the Spanish super cup and the European super cup. Circus Carnie missed all the games so far with a heel injury. He is due back any day ready to challenge Jackson for the striking role. Liam Ferguson has also started slowly at Sunderland. No goals in 3 games so far for the club. He will be wishing he had played in the recent League cup tie against Weymouth. Sunderland travelled to the League 2 side with a weakened team thinking it would be a formality, but the suffered a humiliating 2-1 defeat. Tottenham will be without Edward Nelson for around 5 weeks. He has a slipped disc which has ruled out for all games so far. The team have struggled without him and found themselves knocked out of the Euro Cup by Stuttgart. They did manage to win the Community Shield though, beating Chelsea on penalties. Tom Hamilton has 2 goals in 4 games for Perth Glory. He is approaching the final few months of his career now and seems to be enjoying his football. It seems unlikely now he will ever represent Australia which was one of his final ambitions in the game. Owen Meek and Preston have started brightly. He has 3 goals in as many games as Preston sit 6th in the league. They look to have put the playoff heart break behind them and will pushing for the automatic spots this year. Charles Beams is not even getting games for the reserves at Fulham any more. He is still stuck on the transfer list but not attracting any attention. It’s the last year of his contract so he will most likely be at a new club this time next year, he would be mad to sign a new deal at Craven Cottage. Mathias Brunckhorst is also out of contract in the summer. He has said he is happy at the club but another move would probably be better for him. At 30, he is not getting any younger and needs first team games. He has played just once at Dortmund this year and usually finds himself as an unused sub. Lucas Volman is a surprise target for Roma. He’s getting to the end of his career now and such a big move would be a real shock. With less than 2 years left on his contract, Torino would probably be tempted if a bid was forth coming. Pinky has had a good start with 4 goals in 4 games, helping Udinese into the Euro Cup group stages in the process. Only one game has been played in Serie A but it was a convincing 4-1 win over Napoli. Not as good a start for Havo Bigabelli and Juventus. They were beaten in the Italian super cup and lost the opening game at home to Sampdoria 1-0. Italy have an away tie against Liechtenstein coming up, a game that Bigabelli, if selected, will fancy his chances of getting that magical 100th international goal. Charlesbeams
so only a year left, hopefully someone will offer me a contract in january or better, sign me in january, i dont see it though, i think ill be released at the end of the season.
hamilton162
Good Start to Hamilton's farewell season, hopefully all of the Aussie strikers will get injured and i shall get an International Cap I would be content with a season with over 20 goals as i haven't had one so far in my career This is the season i break my duck KUTGW

CircusCarnie
Feb 2022 Feb goals With just 4 months to go until Tom Hamilton hangs up his boots, he will not be happy with how the finals season is going. He has just 7 goals in 21 games for Perth. His sixth goal of the season was an important one on a personal level though as it means he has scored 100 club league goals in his career. Premier League Fulham are having a great season and sit 5th in the league. They have also got to the 5th round of the F.A. cup and will fancy their chances to progress with a home tie against Doncaster. All of this is irrelevant to Charles Beams however as he is still stuck in the reserves. With the contract running down Apoel Nicosia of Cyprus have been watching and may take a gamble on him come July. Edward Nelson’s injury at the start of the season has been holding him back. He has made just 12 starts for Tottenham so far hitting the back of the net 4 times. He will want to try and secure a regular first team spot for the end of the month when Spurs go to Wembley to face Aston Villa in the league cup final. The club have had a bit of push for the title again this year and are second but are still 10 points adrift leaders Man City. Liam Ferguson just seems to get better with age. Since joining Sunderland his game is going from strength to strength. He has 13 goals in 26 games so far and needs another 12 for the best return of his career. It will be a tall order though as Ferguson only has league games left after Everton beat Sunderland in the F.A. cup 4th round. Championship Preston manager Peter Jackson has been utilising all of his strikers with all 4 playing about 20 games. Owen Meek has the best return of the lot with 11 goals. It has helped to push Preston up into 4th place and automatic promotion is still a possibility as they are only 4 points of second spot. Bundesliga Mathias Brunckhorst has been in great form and deserves more playing time. He’s played just 6 times for Dortmund this year and has 5 goals to his name. Hertha Berlin are watching and may make a bid now he has proven he can score at a higher level. With his contract expiring next summer, Dortmund may decide to cash in if an offer comes along. Serie A 4th September 2021 is the date many Italians will remember for a long time. It is the date legendary striker Havo Bigabelli scored his 100th for the Azzurri. He’s also grabbed a few more since then to take his total to 105 in just 89 games. Bigabelli continues to score at Juventus too where he has 13 so far for the season. Not as happy a time for Juve in the league though as they sit 2nd and 6 points behind leaders Sampdoria. Roma are definitely turning the head of Lucas Volman now. He has said he feels he needs to leave to further his career. He is probably right too as Torino are deep in relegation trouble at the moment. Although only 3 points from safety the club have not won in 7 games and morale at the club is poor. Just four goals so far for Volman but his next league goal will be his 100th in club football. Pinky is still doing well at Udinese. He already has 23 goals for the season and 2 more will be his best return ever at club level. With a good late run a Champions League place is a possibility but it will be tough going. They are 9th and 8 points behind the top 4. Silverware is a possibility in the shape of the Euro cup. They ran away with the group and face FC Twente in the first knockout stage. La Liga Guillermo Delgado is having a fine first season at Deportivo. He’s scored 14 goals in just 21 starts. The club are not doing too well in the league sitting mid table but have been in great form in the Euro cup. The won all but one game in the group stage with the defeat coming after qualification was secured. They have a tough looking tie in the knockout stage though against HSV. Andrew Jackson has been in great form for England this year, scoring 10 goals in 4 games including 6 against Malta. It puts him on 97 in his career in just 75 games. With the World cup around the corner and England in the same group as Iran and South Africa he will surely get the 100 this summer. Not so great at Barcelona though where he has been in and out of the team. He still has 8 goals to his name but is desperate to leave the club as he wants a new challenge. Circus Carnie is also desperate to leave the club but has managed to get off his arse and put a transfer request in. It has alerted the likes of Reading, Betis, Roma and old club PSG. He is only 1 year into a 5 year contract but has realised he will not get many first team games at the club. He has made just 12 starts so far this term and it has affected his international career where he has yet to play this season.

CircusCarnie
Hi guys, sorry I've not been around but had a bad time at home. My house was robbed and the place completely trashed. Sorry to say you're right and the sign up is dead as my laptop I was running the game on was one of the things taken. They didn't take my PC but did smash the monitor and I have only just got a replacement. I had run the game a couple more seasons and there were some interesting transfers and such that would have been great to write up. Andrew Jackson left Barca and joined Bigabelli at Juventus in what would have been the next summer. They dominated everything for the time I had run it, Bigabelli went on to take a Striker, European player and World player of the year clean sweep. Mathias Brunckhorst left Dortmund and joined Santos for a few months before ending his career at Corinthians. Lucas Volman retired and became a scout even though he had 1 for judging players ability and potential. Charles Beams drifted down the leagues and played for a couple of clubs before ending up at Crawley. Pinky stayed at Udinese, Liam Ferguson ended his career at Sunderland. When he retired Edward Nelson signed for Sunderland. Circus Carnie was still not getting games at Barca. Can't remember what happened to Meek or Deglado. Thanks for signing up, it was fun running it and the responses were great. I suppose we have to have a winner so step forward Havo Bigabelli. 200 points clear at the last end of season update, a fantastic record for club and country and medals everywhere. Jack Rudd
Sorry to hear about the robbery, CircusCarnie. 'twould be interesting to look at what people chose for their stats-at-20 and see how that correlated with the final scores for their players.
