1 imporant win against Warta and two losses against Slask and high flying LKS Lodz. We are 1 point above relegation spots as it stands. To compare last season at this stage we had only one point.

 

 

Polish FA Cup

We managed to somewhat comfortably wind against Chelmianka (4th Tier) , but got absolutely spanked by Arka(2nd Tier) . So we are out of the cup, it only took us couple of weeks

We got smashed by Wisla who absolutely dominated us. A draw against Gornik Leczna, I expected a bit more since it was at home. Rakow we only conceded 2 what is not bad considering how they demolished us before and last is a surprise. we managed to score 3 against Lech but from only 7 shots  FMing all the way.

Not the end of the year we would have wanted. I thought that we would be able to at least draw one of these games. Anyhow, we go to a break on 14th place being 3 points above relegation places. Also with another intake around the corner I hope that we can survive.

 

Finances 

Finances are going down quickly, but we should be ok until the end of the season when we get the paycheck.

We have been run off the park by Cracovia, not great start, however we then drawn against Lechia and won against current leaders Radomiak to keep us alive above relegation places. Legia result was expected as we got a red card early.

International Duties. 

First time our prospect has been called up to Polish national team, although it is only U18 I am happy. Giorgadze(08k) is a regular in Georgia U21s .

Another amazing intake in my view, this time w have been blessed with really good CA as well as PA. I am not sure if I will be signing all the players but I think some will feature in main team really soon.

I think it is good month. We managed to beat Pogon, who has a terrible season at the moment. We are still hanging out of relegation zone, with 8 games left we are still 1 point ahead.

It was another tough season. We pulled some great results like a win against Lech or Pogon. Rakow yet again wins the league  but suprisingly Radomiak finished with same amount of points. Warta and Gornik Leczna go straight back along with GKS Tychy(who were promoted with us)

The odds remain unchanged, and will be for another few years I think. We are joined by Wisla Plock, Olimpia Grudziadz and Ruch Chorzow who got promoted from league below.

Well, We have been dreadful this month. 4 losses and 0 goals scored. Somehow we are not bottom of the table.

Janik(05g) I think we have better options and higher potential players that we need to develop. 
Ernest Mika (04a)* He was constantly kicking up a fuss about playing time in rotation. he is Unambitious and Splawski(05a) is probably about same level.

@RoguPL Can I ask is it easy to nationalize players to play for the Poland national team. I noticed you are doing a Polish league save so I was curious if the national team had many players originally from different nations.

They have to be continuous 5 years to get nationality, and then they need to declare to play for you, eg. they can't have been playing for their home nation. 
In my current save there is only 1 player in national team that has been nationalized. 

 

He's been signed  to Rakow in 2026 and made Poland debut in 2031. 

 

I think it is not that easy anywhere you go, giving that if you find a really good player, even if he is young, he will most likely be called up to their home nation team before you can call him up. There is also a factor that you have to ask him to chose to represent the second nation rather than home nation. I think if the player is on the younger side he might decline, but if he is a bit older like Tarassovs there is a bigger chance that he will accept.

After 8 losses in a row we finally find a breakthrough with a win against Ruch. 4 points out of 9 in October is decent giving our recent form. With one game less we are 16th with 2 points to safe places.

Decent win against Odra Opole and then we needed pens to despatch Rakow's second team. Widzew up next.

Not easy as it's already been replied, however you may get lucky accidentally. I've managed to convince Lorenzo Lucca to play for Poland after 6-7 seasons or something. Italy were ignoring him despite the guy banging 35 goals in the league every season and being among top scorers in Champions League at my Warta Poznań as they considered Ekstraklasa 'not good enough' and that he should 'move to a bigger club' (yet they had no problems calling up the players from Belgian league, which was below us in both reputation and coefficients).

Long story short, Lorenzo Lucca (Wawrzyniec Lukkański?) was a star of my Polish national team after many years of waiting.

I have checked this info in in-game editor for nation. 3 years is probably when the players become homegrown and they are under some age, this helps Champions League registration. 

Rakow are currently dominating in my save, they won like 3-4 titles in a row. They still fall behind in fanbase and Stadium size, I think they can grow big, but need a lot of time, whereas with Lech, its just results that are needed

Congrats on managing Warta and getting to Champions League ! Another team from my home time which I am also a fan of  I managed to clinch Champions League with them in FM22 when I was doing Build a Nation My Way save on these forums

Well done with Rakow. I want to try do a save where I try get a certain nation like Poland up the nation rankings and also the nations league get up the league rankings as well.

I have done a build a nation save in Poland in FM22 on these forums, However I have done it my way so I took different approach. I'd love to do it again and I might in FM25 
However if you look at SecondYellowCard, he does quite a lot of these every FM, where he utilises loan farms to build the whole league. 
The key to getting league up the rankings is that not only you need to collect points, but also other teams. Also he probably has few guides in what to look at. 

Getting Nation up in rankings is trickier in a way that you can only work with players that your clubs produce. In Poland its quite tough in that sense, they don't produce wonderkids every season unfortunately.

Not a bad month, considering we lost where we were expected to lose and we won where we could try and salvage something. The situation in the table is not great, we trail 5 points from safety however we have 1 game in hand

What and end to the year !  We finish the year with 2 wins in a row, and we close the point gap with the teams that are above is in relegation fight. With 1 win we can now advance as far as 12th. This is first goal of the season in the league for Szczepankiewicz(09c)* . I think this is a player that improved the most since coming in a youth intake and is developing really well.

Szczepankiewicz looks decent already with a nice attribute spread, he could develop into a quality player.

Amazing start to the new year ! I have started with 2nd team, hence why the thumping from Slask. I wanted to make sure we play 1st team against Olimpia and that paid off. The next 2 games, we probably shouldn't have won, as we were worse then the opponent. 

After 23 games we have 28 Points ! For context last 2 seasons we only managed to get to 32. Maybe this campaign will be a lot less stressful then last.

That's an interesting one from the transfer window. Diogo Dalot signed for Widzew hah . Look at the wages. Widzew is a place to wind down the career.  But I am shocked that high rep player comes to play in Poland. Didn't really play much in Barcelona though.

A great month for us ! We managed to collect 10 out of 15 points and avoided relegation with 3 games to spare! Such a relief not to be involved in relegation battle again. I will use the remaining games to develop some youth players.

Played the 2nd team through all the matches. We were absolutely demolished by Legia, but managed to pull a win against Jagiellonia. Ended with a loss at home against Lech.

Best season in top flight so far for us. Finishing 11th definitely wasn't expected. I feel like we are going in the right direction now. In other news, Rakow wins their 6th title in the row where as Lech will miss out on Europe for second season in the row.

I agree ! Especially if you do youth only in a nation where there is not much money. Then your team needs to be good enough that you attempt to qualify to European Comps. 
We are at the stage were we just about to break even, It doesn't help that the board took 10M loan for a new stadium.

S12 - Season Preview 

Our odds are slightly better then in recent years, what means we have indeed improved our team. My goal for this season is again try not to get involved in relegation battle. 

This season we are joined by KGHM Zaglebie, Gornik Leczna and Arka Gdynia. 

 

I think that something is really wrong with Lechia, their tickets are way below expectations. 

 

 

 

Reputations 

Through our all time in top flight, we always had teams which reputation have been higher whilst they were in league below, This time only Warta from First Division teams has higher rep then us. I expect that to change next season.

Again not a great start to the league, Good think is that in most of those games we weren't really standing out what ended up with close results 

 

Transfers

Quite few loans this season, I didn't really loan out players before as there was no much interest in them. Seems like our players are becoming better, even the fringe ones. 
We have also lost Szczepankiewicz(09c)* Every player at the club made a lot of fuss when I was rejecting the bids so decided to sell. However after the fact I realised that I should have probably asked for a loan back...... 

 

Released PLayers

We have released Eryk Kryg, He was our highest paid player for quite a while, but his physicals were deteriorating quite quickly. 308 league caps, what is the record at the club currently  Also this is the last player from the starting team that we have had.
