Im curious too. Im excited and scared at the same time.

 

Ribamar and Zagre should be a done deal. Same with Necul.

But the time is ticking for WC 2030.

I would love to sell them to Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal or Al-Ahli.

So I can maybe slide in 2-3 more players.

Yes they are lookin good this season.

 

Sadly only Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli (at some degree) using their money smart.

Everybody got some many foreign player unregistered....

 

We lost our last league game on May 20th 2022, since then undefeated in the league.

Big win vs Qatar!

After almost one year I could nominate Ali again.

Through the winter WC and schedule problems, I needed him in the club.

He thanked that with 2 goals.

Ironic it was a loss to Al-Ettifaq too! I was working in the Eastern Province when I was over there, it's not a hotbed of Saudi football. Hot yes (50+) but not a hotbed of the game.

What a great team.

Luisinho had an amazing season, his best ever.

Necul and Zagre are amazing and we managed to rehab Ribamar.

Also never payed a single dollar on Saudi players, since they are lettin them go for free.

 

The foreign players are all great.

Im pretty sure Arrey-Mbi will leave us (Liverpool and Klopp are knocking) and I might try to offload Ribamar to Al-Nassr.

Luisinho is now the top scorer and our reputation went up.

We are now the best team in Saudi Arabia.

Yes it stops it.

I only loan players to non-KSA clubs, which are only here to make money or if a players moans, that I didnt register him.

With no money problems I can go a bit crazy here.

Previously I had job offers only from clubs.

 

Stade Brestois from France.

They are a bottom tier side in the Ligue 1. They still got Halilovic, which I sold to them. :D

 

Suwon Bluewings from South Korea.

They are a top 5 side in the K-League. They still got Wikheim, which I sold to them. :D

 

Al-Ahli from KSA.

After 2 years I had an offer from out league.

Africa was both, and still have assets there including a house. Before Covid I would be spending much of my time there, but have been grounded in UK for the last 18 months.

KSA was most definitely business only. In keeping with your FM story, I obtained Bahraini residency to live there for 5 years but couldn't get a permanent Saudi work visa so had to leave after one year. Would have happily stayed in Bahrain for the rest of my living days, I loved it there and have been back on visits since.

The part in bold has just summed up actual life in 'The Magic Kingdom' perfectly :lol:

Great and Saudi are words rarely used in the same sentence :D Although the UK has recently started advertising Saudi tourism on TV, which is curious to say the least.

So many things are banned in Saudi, there is little for most people to do with their money except going to shopping malls and having expensive cars to race around in (the more fortunate ones that is).

It's best to just say it's completely 'different'. Even compared to other places in the Middle East!

In my opinion every country has good and bad without being perfect. But the experiences I gained from living and working in the region (and Africa) were ones I will never forget.

Anyway, back to football. Go and do your stuff again :cool:
